There's three months worth of chit here. Took me awhile to get all of the photos pulled out and organized so I could put it all into another forum since all these pictures were originally posted one work day after another since I started working on this bicth three months ago. I will be running a pair of 12" SSA Icons on a Sundown SAZ-2000d and a three way up front consisting of 8" woofers and 5.25" components powered by Sundown. It's been one chunk at a time and one 500 dollar bill after another. Mark if you read this, and I mean it, the next one is yours man. Here we go Looks fine to me so far.

The sound stuff: AQ1200D amp 2 12" SDC2.5s So after reading all these build logs, i decided to try to build my own box It's not too bad so far for a first try....and the first time using a skil saw LOL. This is all going into a 1999 Civic sedan also here's some pics! My trunk Yes I'm going to fix that gap....i have to cut the top, put those "steps" in place so the subs and port can all fit like they will be on the front. Also need to cut the port back one inch, overestimated it cause i did like five different boxes before i got everything fit. And this was the easiest way to do it, which isn't too bad. Started this box Saturday evening for a customer. He has an 03 or 06 or something Expedition with the 3rd Row and was wanting something custom back there. first thought was to do a fiberglass amp rack in between teh woofers. After an initial test fit it was outta the question. Circles arent perfect as my jasper jig wont be here until tomorrow and i still have a few more things to do before he pics it up tomorrow. Figured id share this here since all of the equipment came from various sources on SSA. i needed a box for my 08 frontier king cab. wanted something low profile and durable for use in a daily driver. also had to house a pair of sundown amps. turned out nice, and the bedliner means i wont have to worry about pucking it up too much. click the thumbnails and they get bigger and that brings me to where im at today. got everything installed and wired up. just gotta finish trimming it out and break everything in. not worried about chasing the elusive deebeez so its around 2.5cf ported right about 30hz. so far it blends okay with the seas components with the amp turned way…

Was watching TV today when my boy came over and asked if I had any extra wood to build a box. Had some extra lil peices laying around. It literally took us ten minutes to build this box. Thought I would show a few pictures since I think it turned out nice when we rushed right through it. Hooked it up and it doesn't sound to bad for a ten minute job..

well my brother had a bright idea that he wanted 8's in his doors for mid bass....i have one door ready for paint and still have to start the other since he drives that car daily....here are some pics of what i have gotten done and will post more up as i progress with the build.....

Ok it will be going in a white mustang convertable.. 2 cubes 34hrz... a little high had to keep box size to a minimum. 31sqin (ifrc) of port and two Dcon 10s... i am starting the box today an i previously wired the car up with 4guage for now... not sure what amp will go in it yet because its a customers car.. time will tell but here we go woot woot pics will be up later

Well my previous setup consisted of 2 15" icons powered off a Soundstream pca2000d at 2ohm doing 1500 watts so each sub was getting around 750 watts each. My door speakers were boston acousitc sl60's in the front and infinity kappas in the read powered by a JLe6450 getting 75x4 at 4ohm. Heres the new! 2 15" icons powered by a kicker zx2500! so each sub is getting about 1250 each. A kicker zx650.4 I am gonna replace the sl60's and go with the PG rsd's take. Gonna take out the infinity kappas and just throw the sl60's in the back for the hell of it. I also will be doing big 3 having a kinetik hc1400 under the hood and a hc2400 in the rear. Here's the old setup I had in my e30 318is. It was ~1.4ft^3 ported into the cabin through the rear deck and tuned at 36hz if I remember correctly. A few members wanted to see pics soooooooo... I cut all this out of the car.... As always, questions and comments welcome...

It has been far too long since I have had a vehicle that I could do a build in, so I'm super excited to be working on this. The pieces that you can't see are the SS Damp and Overkill in the doors. Equipment as of right now consists of DLS components up front running active off a Sundown SAX 100.4, 2 SoundSplinter Orphan8's powered by a Zapco Ref 750.2, with an Eclipse CD8443 for a head unit. Wiring is from Knu with 1/0 for power and ground, 4 gauge distro'd to the amps, 12 gauge for speaker wire. This is going in a full size Chevy pickup. Nothing big just a little something to listen to. Sub is going in 1 cub sealed and the MLI are going in the front doors. We will be adding tweeters in time. Currently these are the only pieces I have. 1 AA Arsenal 12 and 2 MIL 6.5's. Enjoy the pics.

Ok so my fiancees birthday was the 22nd and this is a late gift shes been wanting something so I built a box for the L5 8 and the amp is a refurb Kicker certified ZX200.2 so here it is. Will be posting up some more pictures later already installed sound ok but i'm not a fan of sealed gonna move it from current location of foot of rear pass seat to the back and port it this was a temp job to give it a lil more.

I finally finished (yeah, right!) the system in my 2002 Toyota 4Runner. I couldn't have done it without everyone's help here on the SSA forums, particularly denim, SSaudio, SoundSplinter, mrray13, and probably others that I'm forgetting (sorry!). Well i traded all 4 of my 15 and got 2 18 death penalties Whats going in 2 kinetik 2,400( ho alt) sundown 100.4 2 sudnown 3000(gonna run them at 2ohm) or 1 at .5ohm 2 hi-vi mids in a pillar along with vifa d26dt the front doors will be redone each hold two eton lpg mids might get a 50.4 later on to pics eton lpg sundowns subs more pics to come when stuff comes in

well my little $50 project came in the mail today, it's nothing special but i took pictures anyways. had to test it out somehow so i unhooked my sub and gave it a whirl on the 1500d.

The bandwidth on my photobucket was exceeded, so that's why I'm starting another thread. Heres everything I have done so far. 03 Ford Expedition XLT. Two Incriminator Audio Death Penalty's. Four JL Slash 1000/1v2's. Two bulk packs of Second Skin Damplifier Pro. What it's going in. Everything that's going in. Port. Bracing. Four layers of this. And I did the inside of the back hatch with two layers the Damplifier Pro too.

Just about finished it all up today, got a few more things to touch up but for the most part it is done. First off thanks to Matt at MCOR for giving me a hell of a deal and JL for coming through in the clutch and sending me a free t-shirt! The goal of the install was to get much improved sound while keeping it stealthy. I choose to go with JL Audio C5-650 Components powered off a Sundown 100.2 still with the factory head unit. The mids were placed into the stock locations, with baffles made onto the 6x9 brackets and the tweets placed into the kicks. With one port blocked and 2 ports blocked also just for curiosity. It was supposed to be for the Orion H2 15's so it would've been 43hz, 35hz and 30hz I believe but thats obsolete now anyway. So I need to know if I'll even need/want to block anyports because It'll be SOOOO big for the 18 anyhoo I think 7 cubes and some change. I added a little more bracing than is in the design but it shouldn't be enough to change the tuning significantly. Thanks for the help Tye

Hi, after i got my new car i thought of building something small, possibly stealth... I found some pics of the same car as mine on the internet.. So i ordered a Dual 2 Fi SSD 10 some days ago and great surprise, i got mail :bigclap: (Thanks to BladeIce) I started building a little enclosure for the sub, about 1 cu @ 35 Hz... OEM integration: Enclosure Finished Wosk great, but it only plays the low notes nice, with high tones i have loud air tourbulences, but why??? Pleaaase help me!!
