Here is my build log.... Its been going on for about 2 or 3 weeks now, and has to be done by March 6th. System will consist of... Eclipse CD3100 Soundstream MPXO7 EQ (2) DD9918's dual 2 ohm. This is a build for my friend Ehsan. We're replacing his current seald box, with a ported one. The new setup will be a 5 cube enclosure, sub up port back, tuned to 32Hz. Equipment will be a SoundSplinter RL-P 15" powered by a Powerbass 1000.1d, all in a Nissan Xterra. Current setup. Supplies. Getting started. Closer to being done. Hi all. I started this build over Christmas break for one of my roommates. The box is 4.8^3 ft after all displacement and tuned to 23Hz. I picked up a Stereo Integrity Mag D2 15" subwoofer off of here from a member. The amp is a 500w O Audio plate amplifer. this winter break is givin me way to much time to think of new boxes to build. right now im tryin to make somethin that will give me trunk space. What ive come up with now is a box for 4 sundown E 8's and a blown 15" audiopulse axis top assembly as a passive radiator. the box is 32x16.75x10.5 external giving an interval volume of 2.42 ft^3. that gives the recommended .6cubes each for these subs. the cone mass is 390 grams which will tune the box to 29~30 hz. does this look good, any suggestions for improvement?

Ok Guys, Its been going on for a while, but I though it was time to put up some pictures. Just to let you guys know I dont have my own garage and most things have been imported. The problem is good gear are either redicilously exspensive or not availeble at all. First Ill start with my old setup then move on to the work in progress. Here she is in my garage. Below was how it was before. (no comments lol) It is far from perfect hence the change. It played fairly clean, and loud ..mind you it was a bit peaky though. Dont mind the words in the window. OK so gonna start my own bussiness not sure how soon but will start the name for legal reasons.You will see box is done with in the week. Plan to start the name by june 15th or so just to have my name before it gets taken.Will post pics with my name on box after the 15th. The stuff used this time around i usally use nails, but no air tank so using screws and predrilling. finshed three side drilled and screwed one more to go. bought the 90 degree clamps to try them out and i love them. port and sub using XScorpion port. close up of the sub. another of the box.

I recently got rid of my Nightshade 12's and stepped up to a pair of Nightshade 15's. I'm planning on a very loud daily with them and also bassracing in the 139.9 and playing around in 149.9 some. The best burp score I got out of the 12's was a 149.7 on the dash sealed and I'm hoping for a 151 to start on my new box. Eventually ill be filling the back of the car with a big ported box, buf for now wanted to have some fun and build a sealed box, i hope it holds together. all cut up center brace low on glue and i didnt wanna go back to walmart. solution..cut up the bottle getting the first one out of its box that looks good

Ok this is for a buddy of mine ... I am helping him with his build in lifted 1999 F250... it will be 2 15in icons in 8cubes tunned to 32hrz with 128sqin of port. big three and dual batts aslong as amps and front stage will be determined later once funding is here.. shouldnt be longer that two months. for now it will be off a pos dhd2000 with what ever he has as frontstage and deck. here is a pic of the box tell me what u guys think and if we should go with this design the space ontop of the port is blocked to cut down the box size.. i still got .88 cubes to play with and some bracing to add.

I figured I would go ahead and put up a build log since some of my stuff came in today and I plan on being done with this project over the next month. Well I'm 16 years old and this is my first car a '97 Toyota Tercel, I got this car from my grandma as a gift and I couldn't be happier with the 40mpg I get. Well, I finally got around to taking pictures. I'm a senior at my school, so pretty much I have free reign over the wood shop. Haha. I got started about a week ago on this box, but just kept forgetting to take pictures along the way, and luckily after talking to Nick at IA I remembered to bring my camera to school today. So far the box has 7 layers of glass (with a layer of fleece coated in resin on both sides), and I have yet to figure up exact specs, but I'm estimating around 2.5 cubes with a 6" aero that will be tuned to probably 34 hz. Well I purchased this explorer the Monday 12-22-08. So I've had it a few weeks. The truck is dent free, interior is near perfect, very good find IMO. the only body issue it has is some rust on the rockers (hidden when the door is shut)--It'll be taken to the local shop to get those taken care of.
