Here's a simple install in my 90 325i. I was on a budget since this is pretty much my daily beater car. Sub, amp, wires, and materials all totaled around $150 but still sounds clean and clear. Plays loud enough for my tastes as well. Guessing around 120db. Will use a cheesy Radio Shack meter on the dash to get a rough estimate when I have a spare moment. Main goal was to keep it compact and still sound good. Didn't need earth shattering, just clean and clear. I can still rattle my side views and rear view pretty damn good though if desired. This is a re-build of a false floor i did about 2 months ago. The first one was a rush job that i had to do in a Friday night and half a Saturday. It looked like this. The whole reason he brought it back was to get a fiberglass trunk piece done.(it is at the paint shop now, but i will get pics when it is back on) He decided to keep the same sub, but i talked him in to an amp upgrade. Now installed is a PDX 4.150, and a PDX 1.600.

starting the build log today, im doing a build for a friend . were going up to get his jeep tonight, 2006 grand cherokee, and were ordering the equipment tomarrow so i figured i would start a build log. this is my first build with fi and sundown so im really excited. he will be runnin 2 12inch fi Q's in a box i will build with 2 sundown sae-1200d one per woofer, a powermaster 2400 and all knukonceptz 1/0 awg wire ill have pictures up probably on monday let me know what you guys think

I decided to take out my big setup for a while because it takes alot of drivablilty out of my car, specially in the rain and the last few days ice. So this will be my setup for a bit until i get a better suspension for the back of my car. I got 4 of the E8's from the presale, for now ill be using two in two separate tline boxes. the lines are a little short due to space, but im goin to see how it sounds. Im also putting a line for both the front and back of each sub. so 4 total lines. I started a building for the two DP21"s a couple days ago. They'll be powered by four JL 1000/1v2's. Also doing a couple layers of Damplified Pro on the roof. Should be done this weekend or next week depending on what kind of distractions come up. What it's all going in. Everything. It was a bit breezy. Port. Sup folks? I took out the dayton ho 10s and cadence txa6004s to downsize some. I have finally decided to start on a new setup. 12" Sundown Nightshade Sundown 1500D on the way Rockford Punch 500x 6.5 Infinity Kappa Component set 6x9 Infinity Kappas 0 Gauge wiring 1 Kinetik 2400 on the way I have already dynamated the doors and the trunk lid. It started raining yesterday before I had a chance to take pics. My girl lost my camera somewhere, so I had to use my cell phone. It rained today too, so I decided to work on the box. Ported Box: 1.6 cbft tuned to 34hz The big piece of wood is part of the double baffle and to wall of the trunk. More pics coming soon!

well as of right now i am goin to have 1 18in mj18 in my car in 3.3 sealed on a hifonics giving it 400 watts, in the front doors ill have to mach5 6 1/2's with stock tweets on the dash and stock speakers in the bac\k. i got the box for the 18 done today and the 6 1/2's ready to be mounted in the doors. will hopefully get a beauty panel to cover the box up in the back to clean up the look.here are some pics from today. ill probably upgrade the rear 6 1/2's to the mach5's down the road when i get some money.

Here goes to the start of deadening my 02 Z71. Lots of deadening going in. 155 Sq ft. Raammat 5 or 6 Yards Ensolite 5 gallons and 1 quart of Spectrum GM's way of trying to stop you from removing the rear bolts on the front seats an 11mm 12 point did the trick. Also the front nuts on the front seat are removable with 15mm 12 point. Carpet is not so clean lol When I saw this clip for the first time I thought "I'll come at you like a spider monkey!" The rear light needs to be removed before dropping the headliner to disconnect the light More pics to come

I have a 2007 Kia Sportage with 2 12" American Bass VFL Extreme DVC 2 ohm 1500 watt rms subs powered by 2 American Bass VFL-100.1 Amplifiers. My head unit is a JVC KD AR880 CD Receiver. I have a custom bult subwoofer enclosure built buy Derrick Haddock. ok i only took a few pics, as i was in a rush to get it done before sun down. new sony deck i cant recall what number, mp3 ipod blue tooth mafaka 1 rf 1000 watt amp... nice small foot print for a 1k amp, 1 atomic quantum 15 2.5 cubed tuned @33 herz yeah you like that sexy belly iforgot to get a after shot, but you know its all pretty and coverd, fat man in a little truck? i mounted the amp on the back seat wall...... and then the box is mounted infrnt of the amp, to make for great trunk space while also hiding that high dollor amp. it was cold and exhaust was hot.. so the pics no so great. it really sounds great.. .nice set up..

It's been a while since I posted anything on here, been kind of busy and on c.a.f. Had to get rid of the cx-7, turbo went out at 25k and mazda wouldnt warranty it, so I traded it for an 08 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab. Had a baby on 18 Dec, Samantha Anne, 8 lbs even 20.5 inches long and gorgeous! On to some pics, the build is still in progress, so excuse the mess: Samantha approves!

Figured I would post this here too as I'm using a couple SSA vendor products. Bringing it back for the sealed guys. Might be a while to get this one finished up but hoping I can get it done in decent time. Going with 4 AA Havoc 15's in a sealed 10 cubic foot Fisher Customs box. Hopefully Chris or BJ can chime in with a sketchup of the box. Power will be from an American Bass 500.1 running at .5ohm. As the first pic shows he has removed the door handles, replacing them with an electronic system that ties into his Viper car alarm. He also did some front and back end frame work.
