  1. http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=...ideoid=27964439 Well this is the quick install I did in my buddies Yukon... only spent about 4-5 hours--including time to build the box... the dancing can is 3/4 full... we noticed it spinning while we were adjusting so I shot a video of it.... don't mind the distortion.. it doesn't sound like that... my cheap digital camera can't handle the pressure.

A few months ago I deadened the floor pan and the rear wall with a roll of RAAMmat and it cleaned up the sound tremendously. I have a Massive Audio CW12 downfiring out of a JL Audio Stealthbox disguised as the middle seat. Then I decided that new speakers were in order because the JL Audio TR series were not doing a good enough job. I did some research and decided on Focal Polyglass speakers and the new Focal Solid 2 channel amplifier. Considering the 6.5 inch woofer and the 4 inch mid wouldn't fit in the stock 6x9 hole I had to make baffles and glass them into the doors. Right now its just a temporary solution until I figure out a better way to do it. This is not show qu…

Sup guys. Any and all suggestions/comments welcome! Ok this will be a long build w/ occasional updates. There will be 2 Rockford Fosgate Power 1000's Powering front stage (undecided) and 2 Fi Q 15's. This is a VERY small truck, so it will be close to a wall, but not really. Each sub will have it's own 4.05 cu ft box tuned to 29.78 htz. The two boxes will go side by side facing forward in what used to be the back seat (taken out). It has a 170 amp alt and a Autocraft Titanium Battery. All wiring will be in 1/0 KnuKonceptz (including already done big 3). Kenwood Excelon KAC-591 h/u... Already got both subs and one amp. Need to get the other amp. Truck has 2-5 layers of Dyna…

I don't have a lot of pics but I will tell ya this......The DP21 is one sweet sub. Looks unbelievable and sounds ever better. A lot more accurate on fast bass then you will ever expect and simply kills on rap and all low end bass. If you got the money, power and room, GET THIS SUB! That is a Hyfonics Golitath 15, MA Audio 12, and old school MTX Roadthunder 12 surrounding the DP21 Just a few measurements One 7.5 cubic foot box tuned to about 32hz for one full size Ford extended cab truck Power for the beast. Ok, so it's not exactly a build log (and not sure if this is the right place) because I just don't get around to taking pictures when I'm working, but I thought I'd at least post a couple pictures and a list of what I have, as well as a brief review of the products I used. So what we have here is a 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T AWD. Yeah, it's got a Hemi. It's pretty loaded with nav and heated seats and some other goodies. With the navigation system comes a Boston 6 speaker system, which honestly is not too bad, decent midbass/midrange, bass isn't bad, highs are a little weak. I kept the factory head unit in place. The factory nav system is a 6 disc mp3 changer and actually a pre…

I noticed I never posted this here and thought some here who don't visit the other site may enjoy it. It's and old school RF build in my wifes Camry. She wanted all old school RF equipment because she liked the look of them when I used them in her first car in the early to mid 90s. I couldn't argue because I like their performance. I chose IB on the subs to keep as much trunk for her as possible. The only piece that isn't old school is the 3sixty. I couldn't see using a symmetry unit over the 3sixty. Symmetry was only a little less than getting the 3sixty and the 3sixty has way more flexibility. Equipment.

I've driven around my 2006 altima about six months now listening to the factory BOSE system. While it is nice, I felt it somewhat lacking. Thus I began my search. I've come to decide that I would like to build an SQ oriented daily driver from scratch with my only contraint being time. I'll have to tackle this in the few hours I have after work in the evenings. Enough of my life story, on to the build. Source Alpine IVA-W200 with video bypass, bluetooth interface, and IPOD adapter. Alright, so this will be going into my 93 del Sol. The trunk floor is in the process of being fiber glassed, then I will packing peanut measure the volume and should be able to stick as close as I can to my goals. Goal is 1cuft, tuned to 28hz with port area of 8"x2.5" with the end opening flared. I used Google sketchup (just found it & it is awesome!) to mock up the box design & it has me all excited to finish this box. My goal is maximum output with as much SQ retained as I can, save as much weight as I can, and save as much trunk space as I can. Drawn exactly to scale. Port sectional. I have 2 Alpine PDX amps which will be stacked to the left of the box. The a…

I finally decided to clean out the garage and do a system in my own car and since my daughter is of to college(GO UK WILDCATS!!!) it will be very low budget. First the head unit. I'll be using an Eclipse CD3100. I've never used Eclipse before but it was a gift so I like the price. After I installed it in the dash I decided I didn't like the way it looked. So I made my own kit. I finally found a texture and color that I liked for the new kit. It's called Hammered-Steel and it come in a rattle can. Pretty cool stuff
