Been off the forums and out of the car audio word for a while now. Decided I want some more bass in my 2014 escape titanium. It has the factory Sony 10 speaker system but I need more. I originally decided on a xcon 15 and a hifonics brz1200 amp. The next day I go tab place the order and the black and blue sale starts. Now I have a death penalty 15 and ia10.1 amp on the way! I have every thing wired in the car now, 0 Guage from the battery, 0 Guage ground, and a pac ls1 up front. First and foremost thanks a million to Nem who set me up with an awesome Zed Lev and answered all of my questions I had. I finally got a finished build that I'm pretty happy with. Maybe a few more things to do down the road but that's to be seen. Sorry for the large pictures. My work is pretty shoddy, especially with that ensolite foam but it works well.Everything sounds great, this is my first build that I dont have a massive amount of space to work with. Well, I'm sure most of you saw the box I built for local customer Bobby for 2 Evil 18's in a suburban. Well, tax time came around and guess what, he bought 2 more Evil 18's! I wanted to keep the box from being massively tall, but I was able to manage 20 cubes net! I just started today, but I might get it assembled (or at least half assembled) by this evening. Anyway, onto the pictures... Specs: 20 cubes net 14" Octaport 32 hz Badass window bracing Letting the Octaport dry, while I cut out the bracing.

Starting a new build tomorrow. Going over to frogcase2002's house and we are going to build the box for them inside the trunk of my car. I'll post up some pics of the process and how I like the subs overall. My setup as of now is a single 12 inch zcon d2 running at 1 ohm on a Crescendo bc3500. A singer 250 amp alternator and a sundown sae 50.4 running a set of soundqubed components. Deck is a sony for now not sure of the model number. I have a pioneer 80prs I'm going to install sometime but i have to take it out of my truck first and i wanted to wait to get some better comps and figure out the best placement in my car for tweeters. I have a sundown scv-4000 amp, wired at one ohm. The sub's are 12" Zv4's sitting in a 4 cubic ft box, tuned at 40hz but loudest at 48hz. I have a 300 amp alternator wired with the big 3. All the wires 1\0 gauge. I have one Xs d3100 battery. Door speakers are 6 " Morels components. Rear deck are 6x9's morel components. Head unit is pioneer DEH-08prs. Vehical is 2002 KIA spectra ls. The KIA has Mojo Mat in the interior and trunk double lined on head liner. The doors are done inside and outer side. The system is hitting 141.1 on the DB's. The amp has been tuned if that makes sense? I have a few pics more to follow.

OEM stereo -> Audiocontrol EQL -> Soundqubed Q1.750 -> Rockford PPS4-6 and Morel MDT-12 & Soundqubed Q1-750 -> Sundown SA-12D2 Quick snap. Box is big and awkward. Its turns up around 2ft3 after sub and port displacment. The box nex to it is for a 2nd battery (XS D3100, I know that is too big for the little amp, but got that battery when I had a SQ Q1-2200). Sad thing is I need a 2nd battery even for that 750w amp. Maybe I should buy a smaller battery. But it;s easy to build a new box,. So i'll see how this all works out in the next couple weeks.

Well since I've decided to move on from this build it was time to find a new project. So I give you the B2 tahoe.... But really thats all I have so far. The plan is to either move the xc's from the toaster into this and drop down to 4 15's no wall since thats the cone area limit for the class i plan to run. So: 4 15 b2 xc's 4 b2 m1s various b2 hn8's or hn6's and hntt tweeters. b2 quattro amps for highs. will be doing 4 alts but dunno on the amperage yet either 320's or 370's, and no clue on batts yet. and all sky high wire. got a few months before any shows so itll be a little bit before I update this. But I'm excited for the upcoming season.

I figured I would start this log since I have been getting asked what I've been working on. This has been in the works for a few months and I'm still collecting equipment. All equipment under the window line and behind the b-pillar. No blow through. Amps and electrical in bed. I figured I might as well start a build log on this one as it will be my first build that has some effort put into it and not just slapping things together to get something that sounds like music. This is my daily driver and will probably be ever-changing. For now, I am trying to keep it simple and as close to factory as I reasonably can. 22" VCT Scarface plastidipped and wrapped in 305/45 rubber. 2" drop in the rear with Bilsteins all around. What's up guys so I started construction and completed my box for 2 12's. Gonna be used for dss ethos 12. Port is 4x20 and box net was 5.99. I used 12volt to see how long I need it for 32hz. It said 27.75 but I rounded up to 28. But I wasn't too sure on how to go about it since it's gonna have 2 bends. I researched it and it sounds super confusing, some saying gotta have the correction part at the end. But I found some that said just measure up the middle so that's what I did to achieve 28" Could you guys she'd some info on if it's correct. If not, could you tell me what frequency I'm at. Hey guys Im in need of some advice. I'm currently piecing together a setup which will be in a Trailblazer SS. So far I have my two BL 15s fully loaded (newer versions), JL 0/1 awg, and will be powered by a Crescendo BC3500d. I plan on buying a mechman 240 alt, xs power 3400 for under the hood and 3100 for out back. I'll probably have car tunes build my since they did a great job last time. I'm aware I should be running dual 0/1 for the batteries so I will but what else am I missing or should also do? Currently have 12 awg for the subs, should I go bigger? Also will my battery setup work fine at idle without crazy voltage drop? What about dual amp inputs? Any help and advi…

I haven't posted in a while but I sold my orange truck and got a 2004 cadillac escalade. The plan is 2 sp4 18's on 7,000 to 10,000 watts. So far I have my aq 2200 on my btl 15. Scared and I are building a box in the next week or two.
