Brand new F-250 Super Duty King Ranch trim. I'm currently installing: Focal K2P in the front doors Focal Access 165A1s in the rear doors. I'm not so sure about the layout on the previous years, but the 2008 super duty has a 5x7 in the C pillar, and a tweeter in the rear door panel. So we are putting a enclosure in one of the storage pockets in the rear door panel to hold the access woofer, and fitting the tweeter in the stock location and eliminating the factory 5x7 in the pillar. Alpine 4.150 JL 250.1 to power a JL w3 10" woofer. I tore apart the center armrest storage compartment and fitting a sealed box for the w3, the 10" woofer just barely fits in the compartment a…

For my chics B-Day shes gettin a whole new system. She knows nothing bout it so it'll be a good surprise:D. Anway, she wants some bump an wants it to get semi loud. Figured a 12" SX will be plenty, Powered by a USAmps XT4000D. So the sub should see bout 1000 watts or so. Box is 2cubes @34hz an will be resined(sp?) on the inside. Gonna replace the cheapy pioneer coaxils up front with RE6.5 comps powered a USAmps XT800.2. Each door will have 2 layers of Raamat BXT + Ensolite. All KNU wiring an RCAs. Got somewhat far on the box today. Letting the resin dry over night an will finish it up tomorrow.

Here is the build log of the setup in my Lincoln LS. Everything was done at Audio Advisors in West Palm Beach, Fl. Been dealing with them for about 10 years now. This is the third vehicle I've done with them. Big thanks to JC, Tom Mangs and Bob Mercer for eveything. How she was at birth, at the dealership. First part of the make over begining at Audio Advisors. Bob begining work The factory head unit Now with the Alpine IVA-W205. They fabricated the trim panel in house. Not sure what kit they used to hold the double din. I didn't purchase one, so I'm assuming they made something to hold it in place iPod interface cable running under the center console, exiting inside …

  14. Ok, well I have a friend that we(Acidburn & I) are doing a build for. He's got a 2006 Solara. We are going with 3 ICON 10D2s. Box Specs: Tuning: 31hz Box Volume: 4.008 ft^3 Squar Port Area: 49.5 For right now, we only have the box done. The rest of the equipment is still a work in progress. I'll update this thread as it comes in. We made the box as big as we could for the room we had to work with without loosing functionality of the trunk. Anyways, on to the pics.

aight after the 3x event i went to this weekend it made me want to give my g/f something she can bassrace with cuz she actually enjoyed it alot. so i figured hell we got a new vehicle together and she still has her old car. so i decided i am gonna wall it off with 4 of the cheapest 15's i can find and im gettin a fosgate 1501bd *old school badassa amp* for 200 from a buddy of mine. i just spend $129 shipped on subs and $200 on an amp. so im at $330 i have a head unit, got some wire, pretty much have everything covered. probably gonna buy some cheap car batteries to throw in the back. tryin to keep it under $500 for the whole build. my goal for her is a 139.9 bas…

Wished I had taken pics of during the construction of the box, but I didn't have my camera on hand. But it's your plain sealed box. Internal volume of .75 cu ft net. Hertz called for an insanely small .57 cubes sealed, but I was afraid the bottom octaves won't be as pronounced. So I ended up going with .75 cu ft. First some pics of the new sub for those who haven't seen it in my other thread. It's a Hertz Audio Hi-Energy 12. pretty nice and simple cone with the Hertz logo on the dustcap. bright ass orange magnet rubber boot. It's pretty simple looking....no huge surround or massive motor structure. This thing is tiny compared to my Brahma MKI 12. Flush mounted.…

I have already started work on this, but finally got my sub & amp today! I can't thank Scott from FI & Corey from Sundown enough for working through all the shipping hassles we had during the holidays. The whole system, except 880prs, cdt mids and peerless tweeters The duo that I hope will fulfill my low end love I should have more pictures tomorrow as I am working on the car all day. Not just stereo, need an oil change and some other minor tunings also. than…
