Here we go... apologize my English, but I will try my best. So to give you some back information. Bought this car about year and a half ago, did some chip tuning, exhaust and intake work just for daily driving. Some time later I felt like why not add a small subwoofer in the car and bought SPL Dynamics amplifier with Ground Zero 12" sub. Well the sub never made it to car. So I kept the amplifier and bought some 15" Autostudio sub with recone, it was around 1kw RMS. Also some quite good quality enclosure. It was satisfying about a month or two .. but well you always want more. So I went and ordered 2x15" GS Audio platinum sub…

A quick box build Taking a part the rear deck factory 5x7 got to go to make room for 2 Kicker comp 8s empty truck lol The box was a snug fit just the way she likes it. A little test vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ff2y1s4nbU The box will be sealed off from the trunk.

I know these are just a few and baaaaad pictures, but i wanna show you what im very proud of... This is the thing the enclosure is made of, a stock part of the car which is in the trunk. Finished (fibreglassed and mdf baffle)... Installed Its 1.4 cuft after displacements tuned to 36 hz.... Sound really nice and because the enclosure is screwed in the cars chassis everthing vibrates Its complete stealth after the orginal plate is over the sub.. I know my language sucks but i hope you understand and see whats done faezich And one last question: Looking for someone who can do blueprints for an spl comp. enclosure (flared port?!?) for my spl car ...?

Alright. This is for a friends truck. She had a completely blown stock system. She was very specific in what she wanted, and I went about putting it together for her. I wanted to post pics as I went but didn't have time for that. I got side tracked and didn't get to take as many pics as I wanted. Head unit- Alpine CDE-HD148BT. I have a pic of it installed, but now can't find it. Really nice head unit. And it changes colors which she was very excited about lol. Sub- Dcon 10" from Sean. Great deal on a brand new in box unit. I've been sick all week and didn't start the enclosure til last night. It isn't finished yet, I didn't think the neighbors would be v…

It took a little longer then expected, but my brother and I finished his truck stereo. The center console came out great!!!! My brother did almost all of the fab work, as I was busy with school and couldn't help much. We decided to go with a sealed enclosure for the death row at about 1.5 cu ft. It sounds fantastic in his truck. I wouldn't hesitate to run them in sealed boxes. His front stage consists of aura sound buyouts and vifa tweets with the madisound XO for them. Here are some pics of the build. Took a couple weeks to do everything. The box itself is in 3 parts. The enclosure for the sub, then the separate piece with cup holders, and the top piece that house…

Been checking out some sick installs the members have done here and thought I'd share a few of mine... fairly simple in comparison to alot of the stuff done on this board. But it sounds good and hopefully looks good to most. Did this for a customer a long time ago... about a year and a half ago now. He still has it in his car and loves it. Also installed components sealed in door panel the way they are supposed to be, not in the door skin the way bmw did it. Much better mids out of those than factory. Let me know what you think... 0.98ft^3 sealed. Takes up VERY little trunk room.

  14. With one port blocked and 2 ports blocked also just for curiosity. It was supposed to be for the Orion H2 15's so it would've been 43hz, 35hz and 30hz I believe but thats obsolete now anyway. So I need to know if I'll even need/want to block anyports because It'll be SOOOO big for the 18 anyhoo I think 7 cubes and some change. I added a little more bracing than is in the design but it shouldn't be enough to change the tuning significantly. Thanks for the help Tye

I just want to say thanks to all who helped me with this purchase. I absolutely love my Death Row. All I have been doing is driving around listening to music. Everything sounds great on it, and rap is just crazy. I know there are way louder systems then mine, but mine is plenty loud and sounds really good also. Thanks SSA for the great support and great forum, Thanks Incriminator for making such a bad ass product!!! Here are some pics from beginning to end. Box is 2.2 cubes at 31hz, Port area is 25^2 inches. Again, I would like to say thanks to all who helped. This forum is the best I have ever been apart of and the support is awsome. Hey guys, thought I would post some pictures on my truck install. For some reason I forgot to take pictures during most of the build, as it's now almost done. This was some what of a budget install for me. All of the wiring I had left over from other projects as well as my alpine amp. The head unit is a Pioneer DEH-P7400, nothing special. The component speakers I have were the 6.5" Aura Sound set that PE was closing out a while ago. My subs are Dayton Audio RSS265HO-4 that I picked up for $90 shipped for the pair BNIB. The sub amp is a Boston GTA-1000M. Now onto the pictures... The amps are mounted to a wood base under the carpet (no pic). The component cross…

I'm kinda new to car audio. Right now I'm just running a sundown e8v3 on a boss armor 1500 which actually puts out the ammount I need. Anyway I really want to upgrade and be loud. I'm not about spl and hitting high dbs more about music and perceived loudness. I can work with about 3.5 cubic foot box. I'm considering either a fi q 18 or a fi bl 15. I just need advise on which would be better.

Words cannot explain the satisfaction of having a box that is built exactly to a sub's liking! lol I hate that we didn't just do this first! lol My teammate Anthony threw this together for me with what used to be the 3rd row wall box. All birch.....S port ....double baffled box....4.5 net tuned to 28hz! This thing is sex!!!!! It needs some paint or carpet or something to pretty it up...but that is no concern right now! lol Some of these pics i have posted already on a couple forums....but here they are again! lol Video is uploading now!!!! And we might throw her on the TL tomorrow! Compared to old box....
