I just recently got a '03 Golf TDI 2 door 5 speed. I figured I would keep you guys updated on what was going on. Hey everybody, I picked up my truck yesterday, so it's time for the build to begin. IT's a black Z71 on 24s for now. 133k miles, interior looks brand new, overall great shape. If you don't know me well, I'm a 15 year old and this is my first setup. Equipment I've already ordered/received: 1 D2 18" Fi BTL N2 1 AQ2200D Thinking of running a D3400 in the back. Just a few snapshots of equipment I have sitting around for this build log since it will start officially tomorrow. No pictures of the car till tomorrow when it arrives, everything under the hood is new besides the engine so right now that is my focus since it has over 200,000 miles. I will replace the primary battery with a XS Power D2400 and I will put a D3100 in the trunk with the sounds. Need to find out how Im gonna go about the center console since I cant find any dash kits for the car, need to find room for either a single-din or double-din and my Audio Control Epic-160. Well I've started the Ram finally. The tranny is about toast, but I'll deal with that when she gives up. So far I'm just started on wiring. I gutted it and started the wiring yesterday--and cleaned the moldy carpet (door seals are bad and getting replaced)... only about 3 hours invested so far. I didn't do before pics, really didn't think about it. here's some deadener. All I did is replace what was bad of the factory deadener. Starting a build log of a friends escalade we are doing a build in. Currently he is running 2 sp4 18s on an ampere 9k enclosure tuned around 26-27 . Highest on the meter was is a 150.9 sealed on the dash at 35 . Goal for the new build is a 153 and still tuning close to the same as he is now. He doesnt really care about the numbers though . Mainly the lows . His shit now hits pretty hard down to like 15hz lol and pretty well up into the 50s so we are going to try to make it as musical is possible with what we got to work with . So some back story I bought the hatch back my senior year of highschool with the intentions of making a loud daily driver setup and ended up getting real involved with build car mainly Hondas. I always helped with other builds but was never able to do what I wanted to mine until now. I've have been getting requests to see what going on with the car since the big audio build, so here are a few pics. No 160 page build log. No 160 dbs. Just having some fun with the car. So I figured I'd start the build log for this car, Its gonna be a little slow to begin as the first big step for the install is going to be a pain in the ass. For those that were looking forward to the bronco build, and wondered what happened to that.. well the truck was wrecked, and the body work that is needed to be done is now quite extensive. I figured I would go ahead and put up a build log since some of my stuff came in today and I plan on being done with this project over the next month. Well I'm 16 years old and this is my first car a '97 Toyota Tercel, I got this car from my grandma as a gift and I couldn't be happier with the 40mpg I get. Well since I've decided to move on from this build it was time to find a new project. So I give you the B2 tahoe.... But really thats all I have so far. The plan is to either move the xc's from the toaster into this and drop down to 4 15's no wall since thats the cone area limit for the class i plan to run. So: 4 15 b2 xc's 4 b2 m1s various b2 hn8's or hn6's and hntt tweeters. b2 quattro amps for highs. will be doing 4 alts but dunno on the amperage yet either 320's or 370's, and no clue on batts yet. and all sky high wire. got a few months before any shows so itll be a little bit before I update this. But I'm excited for the upcoming season.

whats up guys. I've had a few build logs on this forum in the past and figured why not one more! This time around it is for my personal vehicle, a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport. Love this car. Goals for this build is foremost SQ, especially regarding a wide deep soundstage. Secondly to be able to hit +145db around 30hz. Gotta love dem lows! Concerning amplification, the limiting factor will be a single run of Sky High 1/0. This is over sized cable but will limit current draw to 300 amps max. Replaced my daily driver with a '96 Lumina(my pawpaw car as my son calls it), but I got a good deal and I needed some decent transpo for back and forth to work. Seems everyone in my family has a nice ride but Dad. Oh well, my time will come. Not doing anything crazy here, just some simple tunes to make my commute to work a little more enjoyable. This has been done on the cheap with some simple stuff, but will give the guys my son keeps attracting an idea what they can do without breaking the bank. I had a thread on here a while ago but just decided to start a new one. I really only have been updating the build log on DIYMA but I'm bored so I am making a new one here. System consists of CD1-Pro Mini Horns for the Tweeters, X69 for the mids, and a Kicker IX500.4 bridged to each pair. That is what is in right now. Right now I just started on an Infinite Baffle set up to mount 2 15" Dayton HFs. BTW I know pics of the car will be requested so when I clean her this weekend I will post some new ones up.

Well, I'm sure most of you saw the box I built for local customer Bobby for 2 Evil 18's in a suburban. Well, tax time came around and guess what, he bought 2 more Evil 18's! I wanted to keep the box from being massively tall, but I was able to manage 20 cubes net! I just started today, but I might get it assembled (or at least half assembled) by this evening.
