Now I've pretty much maxed out the weight in batteries I feel comfortable putting in the 300 considering this is my daily rig atm. I've never run this crazy of an amount of power before so do you guys think I can get away with 2 340 amp alternators, and 5 group 31 agm batteries? With the leviathan and the 2 12ks that should be around 1800amps at 13.8v. Obviously I won't get 14.7 with no drop, but I just don't want to be dropping into the 11s. As long as I'm at 12.0 and up I feel safe. Since you guys have ran that much power and know that electrical isn't completely black and white, you guys should have a general idea. I been trying to do some research on some 7-7.5 rms amps but not really making a ton of progress. What are some good amps that's within this power range with the exception of dc. i know b2 m1s and ns1 v2 are in the category but what are some others than im overlooking? i need two budget is $3k

Do you guys know how i can simply bypass the safety feature for the dvd so it will play while driving ? On most units you just geound the parking brake wire but from what I've read online this wont work? Its the factory dvd nav system. Any help would be great. Thanks

Whats up yall. Its been a while sence ive been around, but im back with another question... I got a sundown scv 4000d, got everything hooked up no problems. once i turn the key and let the power get to it, theres an audible click sound, almost a pop. Im wondering what it is. i did notice i hear the sound at the same time the blue power light comes on the amp, but i just want to be sure thats what it is. Thanks in advance!

if we bridge a stereo amp does the impedance of the amp change? does the amp being bridged change the final impedance to the subs? as an example would 2 4ohm SVC subs wired in parallel be seen as a 1ohm load by a bridged amp?

Hi, was wondering if anybody could help me. I have been looking around trying to figure out how to cross over my system correctly but have not come up with a clear answer. I am in the process of upgrading my system, currently running 1 fi q on 1 q1-2200d as well as 4 coaxial speakers on an alpine cde-141 with the power pack connected to it. I was running the passive crossovers on the headunit at 80hz but now I am getting another fi q and q1-2200d and taking out the coaxial speakers and replacing them with 2 crescendo 8" pwx and 4 crescendo ft1 tweeters and running them with kicker kx800.2 and kx800.4 amps. Starting yesterday my sub will play and then stop. I'm running 1 psi 15 inch platform 2 sub wired to 4 ohms on a hifonics zeus 3200 watt amp. The hifonics light on amp will still be illuminated but the light on the bass knob will fade until it's off completely. When I restart the car the sub sometimes will play and other times Not. All wires are secure. Any ideas?

ok so I just bought this amp for 475 dollars from a buddy of mine that is switching to sound qubed...im going to either get 2 15s or 4 12s not sure yet or even the brand...I was lookin at the American bass spl 15s...but my buddy told me we could use that amp and wire the subs to 4 ohms and itll only pull around 1500 watts rms and my stock alternator would b sufficient until I can do the upgrade on everything...and he said after I upgrade my electrical we could wire the subs to 2 ohms n get the 3500 so I have several questions.....first off what does everyone think of this amp? ive never heard of it but my buddy said its a beast.....second wat would b the best set up 4 12s…

Hey guys quick question. I got a dodge challenger and I upgraded my starter battery to a kinetik hc2400 and then I recently added a hc1800 as a secondary battery. I recently brought a dmm to mess with and check the Ohms of some subs I had lying around. Then decided to check my voltage . So both says it rests at 12.8 then I started my car and the main battery read 13.78 or so and I checked my secondary battery and it read 12.8 like nothing happened. This is the first time I've ever checked my secondary battery, I've had a dual battery set up in my altima. And I had the LCD volt reader and my secondary battery was in my spare tire area under my sub so I never really bothe…

So I have a Alpine ute52bt that is cutting out whwn I turn it up. I first thought it was a connection So it was checked. Tried to move the ground from factory to bear metal to battery and it still cuts out once I start to turn up the volume. do you guys have any other ideas? Sorry for the short post. My set up is the deck listed. A pair of i65c and a pair of infinitys in the rear. Nothing follows.

Hey guys, I'm currently running the 80prs, but I want to upgrade. I still can't get over how Pioneer could build such an excellent functioning HU, with such a shitty display! Which double din fully active HU would you recommend? I really don't know where to begin. I definitely want my SiriusXM back, and GPS would be nice. Whats everyone running for splitters? i have a Kenwood head unit with 3-preouts and i have them ran to my Clarion Eq which then runs to my soundstream amp. My problem is the shitty walmart splitters aren't holding up whats a good set of splitters to get?

Being an impulsive person- I done jumped off and ordered a dual alt bracket. Figuring 2 270 amp alts would be plenty for my setup. I was thinking, just run everything parallel, and rock on. But now I am reading that it isn't that simple. My Avalanche's alt is pcm controlled. Can I just tie in another pigtail for the 2nd alt? And have both alts charge both of my batteries? Current Parts- 1 270a Alt (would like to run 2) 2 kinetik 1800's 1 BC 5500 (will prolly be at .5 when said and done, hence wanting 500 amps on tap) 1 S800.4

Hi guys, my current amp is starting to give me some issues (well I think it is). It is an option audio OA1200 powering a Fi Q12 at 1ohm, and I have had it for about 5 years now but I don't think it's dealing too well with a 1ohm load (it has been running at 2ohms till now when I got the Q). When I initially hooked everything up I set the gains using my oscilloscope, the HU did not clip even at full volume, and the amp started clipping at ~1/3 turn using both a 60hz and 30hz sine wave. I'm going to be upgrading my alternator. I have a 2010 Malibu 2.4l ecotec. I'm running a Hifonics 1700.1 BRE and I have a D2400 under the hood.. I was thinking about going with a Singer alternator and my question is, should I go with the 170A or the 240A?
