Anyone had any experience with these amps? Im looking for sq amps but it must be able to fit under the seat of my 07 frontier. This amp seems to fit the bill pretty well as far as size and with the class g/h design should be pretty clean sounding. It will be bridged to a pair of HAT CLARUS 6.5 components. Passive for now.

hey I ran across what I think is a good deal. Its for a massive P3000.1 Im wondering how good of an amp is this, and how good of a price is 400 bucks? I cant seem to find much about it online so I figured I would ask here. Also, would I need a new Alt to run this amp? thanks

So I've been pondering the idea for a while, but now I've started to putting it in real sense. I would like to take all my audio/video source into one media source. Now, I'm aware of people placing "Carputer"s into their vehicle, I guess in a sense, this is what I would like to do, but not 100%. I would still like to keep a 7" DVD unit as the headunit and the brains of my vehicle. Currently, I have the Pioneer 4300DVD, but I also have my eye on the Clarion NX702. Either system supports many ways to go about extending its media source. So currently, I've been using my ipod for the most of my music, and music videos. Then I would use the the cd/dvd slot for watching movies…

All the old guys in here will recognize the old beauties, I scored a Carver M-2060 and an M-4060. Running in perfect shape and loving every second of looking at them. Will be installing soon, but I'm trying to decide whether or not to run both amps to an active 3 way setup, or should I just run 2 way and use the 2 channel for my other car's front stage (passive), any opinions? Plans are a pair of DP 12's or 15's in the trunk of an 88 Cadillac Eldorado. Front stage is what I'm trying to decide on. Probably looking at Helix's 2 or 3 way Competition Series Components.

Im getting ready to install my new system soon but I ran into a couple problems/questions. I am going to be running a Fi Q 12d2 parallel to a Sundown SAX-1200D. Im going to be adding this to my stock setup in my car. I have a 2010 Audi A4 without the B&O system (it has the basic system). Im going to have a ported box in the trunk. My main question is... What is the optimal way for routing the Sundown's RCA's back to the head unit without problems? I've seen people in previous installs on the Audi forums that simply disconnect the stock sub, then splice the wires, and add a converter to female RCA. They plug the new(sub) amp's RCA's to that which routes it back to the …

Im mainly looking at the Alpine 7998 and 7995. Both units are deadhead units. Are they made with higher quality parts since there is no internal amplifier? Do they have better sound? I know the 7998 is going to have the advantage because it has better time alignment and better eq options. But just wanting the opinion of guys that have experience with older alpine units. Im also looking at the 7897, its not a deadhead deck put I hear its also extremely nice. Any opinions?

Hi, I want to upgrade my amplifier. I have a Sundown 1500 now. And I can sell it easily (I hope so !). I want more power for the btl N2. the sub is in a ported box : 2.1 ft3 at 32 Hz. * I like the Sundown 2500 but it is not in stock, maybe on some e bay stores though. * I saw the Stetsom 2k5, but I have never run stetsom, and I don't know. there are not so much reviews about them. I only sam people usingthe most powerful ones for comps, on videos. * There are several Soundstream, like the Rubicon or others. * There is a Sundown 3000 at db-r too for a good price too ! The amp will be hooked on a Kinetic HC 1200 in the cargo arera, with a stock batt and a stock alt…

Good Sunday everybody, its been awhile since I was last on here. Ive decided I wanted to get back into car audio, and I seen a deal on eBay hard to pass up. As Pioneer is loading out their "NEX" generation headunits it appears the older models are going for a good price. So I picked up a AVH-X5600BHS for my 2010 Dodge Challenger RT (with Boston Acoustic factory installed). I'm not very car audio inclined, so apologizes in advance if I sound off when describing my problem, or whats going on. Friday I got everything in mail from online purchases, all brand new. I got the PAC RP4-CH11 wiring w/ interface, a AVH-X5600BHS Pioneer Double Din, Aftermarket Harness + Antenna. …

spent all day today working on my truck and with in the next week i expect to have an amp again for my sub. so let me tell you what my intended lay out is, what my electrical will be, and then you tell me if you think i will need a power cell in with the amps and what size capacitor i should use. 2 batteries under the hood (both AGM). one diehard platinum marine group 31 [1150CCA, 205RC, 100AH] and one diehard gold group 49 [975CCA, 190RC, 95ah] battery. I will have CCA 0ga connecting these batteries to each other, the alternator, frame, block, and 8ga for body. alternator will be a mechman 320A with 0ga ground and power directly connected. I will have either an ec…

Holy f! I was just looking at the AQ1200D, and then I looked at the Digital Designs M1a, and they look almost exactly the same, here's what I'm talking about. DD M1a AQ1200D DD M1a AQ1200D The only difference I see, is there is no remote connection on the DD M1a, but everything else is exactly the same, and it's all in the exact same place. What do you guys think?

Ran across this on the eBay and thought it looked like a great buy, especially for someone looking for a simple all in one solution for an active setup. The Zapco I5100 is a seven channel amp that is rated for 50wrms x 4, 25wrms x 2 and 400wrms x 1 all @ 4 ohms. By bridging the 4 channel section you get a rated 175wrms x 2 plus the 25wrms x 2 and the 400wrms x 1 and the sub section is rated 600wrms x 1 @ 2 ohms. In my mind the 2 x 175 would be great for a mid, the 2 x 25 would be great for tweeters and the sub section great for many subs on the market. It seems like a fantastic solution to simplifying an active setup as far as the amplification is concerned and at …

Just curious if anyone on here has any experience running this amp or any of the C2 Audio amps? What were some things you liked or disliked about the amp? I currently have a Crescendo Symphony 1500.1 which will be powering a DSS Ethos 15" when it arrives, but I'm thinking about possibly selling the Crescendo and going with the C2 Audio Recon 1.6.

Can someone throw me the calculation for RMS wattage, i think it's something about the fuse rating times something else. I Have a Kenwood 4ch amp, with a 15amp fuse wanted to know roughly how much i could possibly expect. Half of all websites arent working at the moment. School server is being funky with the blocking, i think Mr.B needs to reset the filters.

Gents, I'm thinking of selling my Crescendo BC2Ks and going to a Stetsom 6K5ES 2ohm version. I like that it will do gobs of power (7200 watts) on 13.8 volts. I usually do about 14.3/5 on my HO alt. I have dual runs of power/ground ran, 3 XS power D3400 batts, and the big 3 done. I think my electrical is close or near up to par to support it. My questions mainly regard reliability. If I get the 6K would I be safe running it full tilt? I read these things don't like voltage over 14.9/15 volts so I'd like to think I'm relatively ok there. Just looking for any input/suggestions. Thanks all Also Aaron do you have these in stock? Shoot me a PM por favor.

I was looking at Powerbastard's alternators, and they don't have a direct fit for my 1991 Acura Integra....but.... they link me directly to the Fitzall 220+ Alt.... basically it's a universal HO alternator for imports..... I was looking at it, and the bottom foot doesn't look as deep as my stock unit (just looks like I need to get a shorter forged bolt from a hardware store), but other than that looks like it would mount up fine.... they say it's 110A @ idle and full 220A @ 1,200RPM's.... 220A is great, considering a 91 Integra alternator, stock, is 30A ,lol.... I was wondering if anyone has any good feedback on the powerbastards??? I know everyone is gonna shout Iraggi o…
