i wonder if it will be ok with a 1.3 ohm load... a friend wants me to put three single 4 pr12's in his x-cab ranger, he already has the mtx....so what do ya think?? 1.3 close enuff to 2 ohm to be alright?? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

k, well i went and got a dual 30amp fuse power dist. block. i got questions that need sum answers. 1.) how do u wire up a capaciator with the dist. block? 2) and i was wondering if i need a fuse block as well? since the power dist. block has dual fuses then i thought that i wouldn't need that. 3.)how do u wire up 2 rcas from the deck to 2 amps? the deck only has one set of rcs. but i have 2 y spliters layin around. how would i hook them up? thanks.

So I dont know if I will need an alternator, at least I hope not. However, if I did I dont think it is possible to find an aftermarket one for the 4.2L as it is not a very common engine in the f150...anyone have any ideas (I would not be able to afford an alternator for a long time anyways, might have a new truck by then anyways...)

Alright well earlier this year my headunit crapped out (stock ford explorer 2002 xlt) and wouldn't pull the cd in, the things that pull and eject the cd don't work. Then randomly it started working, and after getting my car repaired it stopped. So now my Bday is on sunday, and I figure I might as well get a new headunit. Looking towards buying a new amplifier for my Fi BTL N2 sometime this summer and looking at my options. I can obviously do as much research on my own as possible but numbers are just numbers, Id like to ask people who have experience with these amplifiers and your opinions on what I should get. Should i change my mosconi gladen one 120.4 amp for 2 mosconi pico 2 please advice, my main concern is overheating of this pico 2 since i dont have information about that small little thing i do plan to listen lots of hours of music in my car when i am travelling and this pico 2 doesnt have any fan or any heat dissapation at all , i consider changing my mosconi gladen 120w x 4 to two mosconi pico 2 i will save space that way and since my speakers are rated at 75w i dont need 120w power. Still looking for a 4 channel amp to run an active setup in my friends car. Planning on running SEAS 27TFFNC Tweet and CA18RNX. I saw these amps and thought I should get some opinions from you guys. I just installed a Kicker 10"sub enclosure/ZX400.1 amp and 4 Kenwood 6.5 component sets in my 2000 Trans am running them off the stock Monsoon amp. I have an older Pioneer GM-H120 amp sitting around collecting dust. Specs aren't that much at: 4 x 30W @ 4 ohms (0.05% THD) 4 x 45W @ 2 ohms (0.05% THD) 2 x 90W @ 4 ohms bridged (0.05% THD) Would it be worth the trouble to replace the Monsoon with this? Hey guys. So I am going to be running 2 Crunch GP3000D's here in the near future and I am wondering what the benefit of strapping the amps vs. running one amp to a pair of subs? My subs are/will be dual 1 ohm coils so I can wire each sub to 2ohm and let the amp take it to a 1 ohm final load or I can strap the amps and wire all the subs to 2ohm final load. IMO, It would be easier to wire the subs to 2ohm and then run wire from 2 subs in to one amp and repeat for the other subs and amp. Since I have never strapped amps, I am curious what the benefit would be and would it be worth the extra work to try and multiple wires to the sub terminals.

I'm new to this site and had a couple of qestions about the Sundown saz3000d. I have 2 digital design 9515's dual 2's and I was wondering what would be a good amp to place with them? Right now I have 2 audiobahn 2300 hct but I am not satisfied and I was thinking of putting 2 saz3000d's in replace of them. I already know I need to upgrade my charging system. Any suggestions? Dana

So when I originally purchased my amp (1k5h 1ohm) it was the combo deal with my xcon d2 but I now will be running both xcons on it until I upgrade electrical and go bigger also got to save up the money My question is should I just wire it to 2 ohm load and have less watts per sub or wire it to .5 ohm and just keep an eye on it to make sure it don't over heat Don't want to ruin this amp it's been great and I would like to sell it in the future when I upgrade Thanks Logan

I have ordered 2 Fi BL 12's Dual 2 ohm coils, with the Pchamfer, Flatwind, and daily option. The box is being built this week. I'm deciding on an amp to power them. Ok I have a mechamn 220a alt... Gonna use 6 xs d3100s... Was planning on running 2 4/0 runs for alts positives and 2 4/0 runs for the alts negative....well after looking at it I dont know if it will work... I don't have much room on the alts posts... Or much room in the firewall...Would it hurt me just to do 1 run each of 4/0 for the alts neg and pos?
