I have spent an hour on google searching trying to find a neon light controller that will flash to the music using a rca cable so the neon flashes to the music and not people talking. I have seen them before but i cannot seem to locate one now that I wan't to get one.

So I should be getting my sub in today. I think. I never got trackng lol. Anyway I wont be able to do my Big 3 until friday.....will it be ok running my sub and amp on stock electrical until then? In case you havent seen my other posts I will be running 1 IA Lethal injection 12 on a SAE-1200D @ 2ohm for 600wrms. What do you guys think? I want to hear this sub bump but dont want to risk messing up my amp. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jeremy

Here' s my current setup. Alpine 9885 (4V) Front: CDT CL-62 (160RMS) w/ Soundstream Rubicon 2.600 (180x2 @ 4ohm) Rear: CDT CL-69X (100RMS) w/ Soundstream Rubicon 2.250 (75x2 @ 4ohm) Fi BTL 12" D2, loaded (2000RMS) Soundstream Rubicon 1.2500 (2500 @ 1ohm) I want to add a duplicate set of CL-62 up front. The 2.600 amp is rated for 300x2 @ 2ohms as well. So I assume, wire the crossovers in parallel from the amp. + to + and - to -. That would yield a 2ohm load from the amplifier giving me how many watts per component at 4ohm each?

so today i went to a car audio shop to get a 2 way alarm system with remote start. when the guy finally finished the system worked fine and then i realized when the car was off and everything locked.. the brake light and the front caution light wont turn off...... does anybody have any idea why this would be.... its almost 11 at night where im at and the guy told me to come back in the morning which means i have to disconnect my batt so it wont die and the re connect it in the morning.... CAN ANYBODY PLEASE HELP WITH THIS TOPIC..... im very frustrated right now..?????? thanks

Is it bad to lose strands of power wire overtime from lets say, disconnecting the wire from terminals and clamps, or even accidentally slicing some off when cutting away at the insulation? Do you lose conductivity and/or lessen amp load of the wire? Also, would using a coupler to add on to an existing power wire to make it longer be okay to do? Or would I have to run a new longer wire to the size I need?

alright, so how would you set up an amplifier to your H/U? thats my main question. if i post a picture of the amp i want, could you tell me what every thing means? i know what low pass is but everything else is confusing, and there is no gain on this amp, at least it isn't called "gain" AMP click that and go to the pictures.

first i need to know if theis post should be in this section. i just need to know what type of speaker wire i need. im getting a FI 12" BL, do i get 16 gauge? or 12? how many feet? the amp will be right next to the box so im thinking something like 3-4 feet. the amp wire im thinking about getting is KLM 1/0 Amplifier Installation Kit by Knukonceptz. i also need to know the fuse type my amp will be a Hifonics BXi 1610D 1600W RMS, Brutus BXi Series Class D Monoblock Amplifier is that a good amp?!?!

I have a 1997 Grand Am and this is what the electric consists of, stock 105a alt, deka primary batt, 1/0 for batt to chassis ground and motor to chassis...havnt yet done alt to batt. My voltage is dropping to 11.5 on some notes, the amp is a saz1500....I need help deciding what else I need to get the voltage up and stable. The XS power d1200 I can fit under the hood as primary but the d5100 is to big and I dont want to do a second battery. Should I get the d1200 or get a h.o. alt, if you guys need any more info please say. Thanks for any help

ok so i have a 76 caprice i need to know what i need to do to properly power 1 of the saz-1500's im gettn stock alt 63amps brand new 4ga big 3 but upgrading to 1/0 when i get the amp $50 battery from autozone im looking for a decently priced big battery so what will i need to power this thing right

Im sorry to waste your guy's time with this one.. im about 99.99% of the answer but I have to ask. I got my order from knukonceptz yesterday, i had ordered 2 of their ANL fuse holders with 2 250A fuses. They sent me 300A fuses. clearly their mistake after checking the confirmation email. Ive been told to fuse to your wire. the wire i have is the KLMX KnuKonceptz wire which states loads up to 250A .. these 2 fuses were meant to go in between 2 batteries (kinetik hc2000 and hc1800) I have the proper fuses for everything else just these 2 that are a little higher than i asked for. Do i gotta go spend the $10 or so and get the right fuses? or even worse wait for knu to send m…

my alternator has 110 amps and i have a sundown saz2000d and getting the xcon...yah.. gonna get a beefier bat in the front and a decent size in the rear. how many amps u guys putting out on your alternator and how many watts u pushin out of your amplifier?

Ok so I have a crossfire VR4KD, and this amp has 2 4awg positive inputs & 2 4awg ground inputs. My question is this.... Is it neccessary to have all 4awg as inputs (+ & -) or would it be a problem to run 2 pos 1/0 with 4awg reducers and 2 4awg as gounds? Will the grounds being 4 and the pos being 1/0 be a problem for the amp?

i contacted maxxsonics and i was told the 2610 puts out 1700 watt rms at 1 ohm at 12 volt. does the 2610 put out rated power? (i want to power 2 15 l7 rated 750 watt rms each)

So I have been given two fairly new amplifiers that have been treated poorly. My brother asked me awhile back to install stereo equipment in his car. So I did. I set the gains with a DMM and everything was fine. Well my brother decided that he wasnt get the output he wanted...I'm guessing. And turn the gains WAYYYYY up. Long story short I have two amps that arent in protection mode but I dont get any power from the speaker outs on the amp. One isnt really worth messing with but the other I would like to save. Am not sure on this so correct me please if am wrong. I currently have a AQ2200 and was wanting to make sure am setting my gains correctly. I want to get as much clean power out of this amp as I can to really push my 15" IA DP. I spoke to the guy at AQ and he said that this amp is around 86% efficient. So just to be on the safe side lets just say its 85%. So 0.85 X 2200 gives us 1870 watts. Am running the amp at 1 ohm so would setting my gain to around 43.0 volts sound right. Oh yea, all my electrical have been upgraded (220 HO alt. extra batt, 2 runs of 0 gauge for the big 3.) Does Anyone know if this amp can run at 0.5 ohms, if so what type of power does it produce. when bridging a 2 channel amp do i need to have y adapters @ the hu as well as the amp inputs or do i just wire the rca's as normal? thanks in advance

My radio make my subs "pop" when I change tracks and turn off the car. I have tried replacing the rca's that didn't help. differnt head unit stopped it. But I wanna try to keep my kenwood. Any sugestions. I have heard that there is away to stop it just don't know how.

I need to find the right amplifier for the job and there are a few selections I'm not familiar with. I am planning on useing 2 Diamond audio D1 10' 200rms in a sealed downfiring box to go under the seat of an '02 GMC Sierra extended cab. My choices so far are RE XT 800.2----not to familiar with these amps Diamond Audio D400.1----these either, but I have heard them on the same set up in the same truck sounded great,(also most expensive of the amps) Hifonics BXi1201----had this one before, it was awesome, but it was for SPL, I want to lean a little more towards, SQ this time. ok so last night and all day today everythings been great. setup has been beatin pretty good. ok so i went to my ol' lady's house today and had no problems what so ever on the way. my car set for 4-5 hours. i go to leave and my car wouldnt start. thought it might be a loose batt terminal checked that didnt work. my voltage meter said 12.8 turn the key and it would go to 0.0 then to 9.0 and back to 12.8. ended up using a jump box to get it started and voltage went right up to like 15.3 with the headlights on. if i turned my volume up over 1/4 up the stereo would shut off ,lights would dim ,and voltage would drop to like 9.0 ...hit the highway and i could turn it bout 1/2 w…

So I just purchased the Audioque AQ3500D amp and an Optima Yellow top for the front. I will be doing 2 runs of 1/0AWG wiring, a 300A Iraggi alt, and a second battery in the rear. I only want ONE battery for the trunk, and right now im torn between the Kinetik HC2400 and the XS Power D3100 (which im kinda leaning towards). Which of these batteries do you guys think I should run on this setup? Also, Im looking at the XS Power VCM. Will this electrical setup be sufficient? I want to be able to run this amp full tilt daily with little to no voltage drop. Thanx.

Does anyone know the stats behind this ancient Sony XM-235 amplifier? I got it for free in a garage sale package deal with some other stuff. I found some manuals on-line but you have to buy them all. They all have pictures of the manuals front cover with a lot of stats but i can never make out the numbers or words because the resolution is so bad. Thanks for your help.
