Anyone worked with AudioQue before? They have impressive stats but what do you get for the seemingly impossibly cheap price? I want to unload my old school Lanzar Opti 50C for something better for my BTL 18 but I don't want to spend a ton either. I know power is coming down in price but I don't want a piece of chit that falls on it's face when I need to feed my sub what it needs.

  4. Okay guys, i have a Fi 15" BTL with cooling, 3rd magnet, and hixmax coil with the dual 2 ohm. its the in a 6.5 foot ported enclosure, only 5 feet though after port and sub displacement. Its tuned to 39 Hz and is 1" all the way around with a 1.75" front face. Its also got internal bracing so im not worried about the sub blowing apart the box in any means. I am looking to spend around $500 at the most on an monoblock. I was looking at the hifonics BXi2607d which is 2600 RMS at 1 ohm, but i keep hearing bad things about hifonics and not so sure if i want to go that route anymore. Im looking for an amp to put out some serious power because i want this BTL to be herd from bloc…

I was wondering how this is done? I'm sure it's something simple, but I'm having a brain fart, and can't figure it out!! You know how meade and many others can control all their amps (2+) from 1 bass control knob.

Ok , This is the question at hand say someone is looking to sell a amp, what would be a fair price to ask for a Soundstream 500/1 rubicon old school blue case??? I ask cause I have been holding on to 3 of them for use. But have decided to see what they may be worth and move on.. Thanks for any replies in advance from the people of this great forum.... Hawk

Im a noob here but have been around car audio most of my adult life, lookin for a good option to power two sundown e-15 d4 in my sons ride. Have looked into many brands( hifonics, audiopipe,mb quart,American bass). Needs to be close to $200 to stay in his budget, must be power friendly to run off of a yellow top, stock alt, big three done, and four gauge power and ground. I have owned or heard all the amps listed above except the American bass, so I need options and am open to all advise. Thanks

I just found an alternator on ebay, and im not sure how much of an upgrade it is, but it definitely is one... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Truck-...bayphotohosting Most likely 165 is its max, with a lower idle. Im not even sure what my stock alternator is I want to say 85A, I have big 3 with 1/0 and with my 1500 watt amp with moderate gains I drop to 10v or so under heavy pounding, with severe dim. Is this alternator an adequate upgrade, or should I save up and hunt down a slightly better one... I dont think i can afford more than $200 however. If I did get this do I need any other upgrades? My batt is stock btw, but with a good alt is a better one needed? By neede…

I have my mind pretty made up on this deck. Anybody know anywhere that has it in stock that has a reasonable price on it? I hope thezeb gets it soon. I know a place where I can pricematch it for 380 or so but they aren't in stock. I am all hyped up about it.

I just recently sent my subwoofer out to be repaired. I have 2 amps in my car 1 Boston for my speakers and 1 hifonics Brutus 1610 d class amp. I was playing music through my speakers but I didn't realize my Brutus RCA cables were still plugged in and it is getting power. Have I damaged my amp by playing music with no woofer hooked up the past few days?

Okay, so I was wondering if anyone had any input on this amplifier. I am basically asking if it was worth what I gave for it. I gave a good friend of mine $200 and a SAX-1200 for this amp. It slammed his Z18, and it looks like it's solid. Anyone had any problems or anything with this amp? Thanks

hey guys, i'm here to get some help with deciding whether or not to get a dash kit for an 08 accord for a new HU, but i'm having trouble seeing if the top screen and the steering wheel controls will still be active after putting in a new HU. here's what the inside of the car looks like. And here's the scosche kit Looks like it will fit in nicely, but i'm more concerned about whether or top screen where the radio station, tracks etc. are shown, will stay active or will be all shown through the new HU. Thanks for the help guys.

  17. Audioque is already aware of this so while i wait for shipping delays, i wanna know if u guys can think of how this happened before i have to wait a week before they tell me. I have 2 AQ2200ds strapped together. The power light was always on on both amps so no reverse wiring there. They never went into protect. Voltage sitting at 13.5v Gain half way, subsonic all the way down, lpf at 110hz. Preout voltage 4v, preout maxed out on head unit, Sub output is turned on, bass is on +3 boosted at 80hz. I was on the phone with AW and everything was verified that everything was hooked up 100%. Even the resistance on the terminals read 1.4ohms so everything was perfect. Turned on th…

  18. I'll be running a SAZ 2500D and a SAX 100.4. The 2500 will be at 1 ohm and the 100.4 will be at 2 ohms. So that's roughly 3140 watts. I have about a 50 ah battery up front, will have a 100 ah battery in the back (deka intimidator 9A31), and I will have the big three. Will I need a high output alternator? I'm not sure what my alternator is rated for. I'm guessing its between 60-100 amps. I have a Chevy 1500 1990 4.3L V6 w/AC.

How do you measure the actual output of an amp in watts? I remember my friend Aubrey telling me how, but cant find the info again. Im trying to figure out what my 601S Rockford Fosgate Amp puts out. It says 600 rms, and 1800 peak, which is strange for the peak to be so much higher, but anyways I've also heard that RF underrates their amps substantially like Kicker does. So my question again is how do I measure the power an amp puts out?

My pioneer HU died the other day when I hit a pot hole and now I need to replace it with somthing better. I've been looking at the Nakamichi CD-300,400,and 500 and also the pioneer premier 800 and 880. I know the nak's don't have nearly the features of the pioneer, but I'd kinda like to try somthing different, and I like the simplicity. Do any of you have opinions or suggestions? I'd like to get the best sound quality out of my system without spending much. I've got CDT coaxials (which are awesome for what they are), and a pair of 15" kicker L5's pushed by a kenwood 600w cheap amp. I got the subs mostly because I was young and they look cool and got a good deal, just…

I never thought that choosing a headunit would require so much time and energy. Once I pick one I start having 2nd thought because of reviews or various other reasons. I have owned Kenwood units in the past with pretty good luck. I went to my local Best Buy to check some options out in person. The Kenwood units appealed to me the most. They seemed much more user friendly witha nicer interface. Just my opinion though. I don't need every option available, but these things are important.... Amp output. 1-2 Cameras. Able to play DVDs or youtube for my daughter. 6.95in screen or bigger. Screen tilt/Dimming is helpful. Under $350/Doesn't have to be…

UPS showed me some love yesterday before I headed into work. Refurbished and doesnt have a scratch on it. The only thing is it didnt have a birthsheet....so I may take it somewhere this week to get it benched. average birthseets range around 320rms x 2 @ 2ohm which is how I'll be running this on 4-4" Dayton midranges.

The other day I was just minding my own business, coming home from work, and all of a sudden my car's mids and highs just stop, and my car fills with smoke. Now I'm out a four channel, and the outputs on my deck burnt up, so I JUST have bass to listen to for the time being. :l Anyways, I just need a two channel to run my Type R 6.5 components up front, so they can keep up with my fifteens Previous products that you have used: Blaupunkt 470 is the only Fourchannel I've ever used. Budgetary constraints: Somewhere around $400 max. Vehicle which the equipment will be used in: 2001 Jetta, only powering one set of components. Musical preferences: Dubstep and Rap. System goals:…

I posted this on another site but maybe I can get advice here, I have a 4ch rockford P400-4 set to 2ch and using two alpine 4ohm 6.5's. Everything had been working fine but lately say I am driving to work for about five minutes then I turn on radio you can feel the car kind of shudder a bit then after awhile of the radio playing the amp goes into thermal protect. The gains are under a quarter turn from zero and made sure the ground is good. Any ideas?
