Has any one here ever used one?? I was taking a look at it today. One thing i would like about it is i could put it in my trunk and only have the Ai-net cable running to the rear from my deck, and shorten up the rca's going to my amps, also it pushes the pre outs to 4v. It has an adjustable 5-band parametric or 7-band graphic equalizer. What is the difference between the two types of equalization? What i would really like to know is does the Multeq feature work well. Any info will be help full below is a link. Thank you. PXA-H100 IMPRINT

Like the thread says, looking for an amp for mids/highs. This will only be powering the front stage, so I was looking at 2 channel amps, 4 channel amps would work as well, but i'd kinda feel like i was wasting money on 2 extra channels (if this was for me, i would go 4 channel and just bi-amp, but its for a friend). He already has speakers that are 2 ohm and rated at 70 watts RMS. He doesn't have a specific budget for this amp, but around $200 should work for his overall system budget. Also, this is going to be professionally installed, so mainstream brands can cost a little more, since it will save on installation costs. I was looking at: RF Punch 400-2 (would be lots of…

I took it out a few days ago and it had a 3.2v charge. A few min later it had a 1.2v charge, then 0.0v. Idk why it did this, or what I can do. But it sucks. Thoughts?

Hello, I have a 2000 Crown Vic Police Interceptor. It has a heavy duty battery and a HO 130 amp alternator. At the moment I have 2 Kenwood 12's (Yes, I know they're not that great, but they get the job done at a cheap price ) with an alpine 500 watt amp. I was happy with this setup until it quit working a couple weeks ago The amp just cut off, and I haven't been able to get it back on (I checked the amp fuses and the in-line fuse). I think the amp is fried, but I'm taking it to get checked out in a couple days. If it is fried, then I'm going to use this as an opportunity to upgrade. I'm thinking about getting an 18" Fi BL sub and possibly an AQ1200D (unless you think I s…

The guy has two for sale a big one and a portable one. 100 for the big one. 50 for the portable. I can't tell which one is which but is this a good deal anyways? I don't know how much I could use this or even how. But I know they're expensive. So my question is should I call him and get it now or just settle for setting my gains with a dmm or just by ear? Here's the link. http://austin.craigslist.org/ele/1560089213.html

well i toke my deck out the other day and when i put it back in iv got this nasty buzz like real nasty and it will change with engine rpm and there is also a bit of "engine wine" but the buzz is much louder and the really weired thing is if i change source or change channel or if i turn the volume from 0 to1 or from 1 to 0 i get a nasty thump kinda like a turn on thump but louder. I checked my amps grounds and they seam to be fine i was thinking maybe its my deck's grounds or maybe i broke a ground strap somewhere in the car im going to try changing them tomorrow my day off. And i also tried a different deck and it does the same thing but they are both pioneers and i hear…

I just purchased my sundown100.4 for my front stage. I will be running 6.5's in the kicks and two 3 inch full ways in each of my pillars. I will band-pass 3&4 , for example channels 3&4 will have the subsonic filter set at 150 hz, then I will set the Low pass frequency crossover at 4,500Hz for the 6.5's. Channels 1&2 would be set on High Pass and the High Pass Crossover set at 750Hz for my pillars. I will be running tweeters on channels 1&2 also, those will have a high pass crossover set a 5,000hz run in-line. The rest will be active. I was wondering can i use my o scope to set the dials on the 100.4 crossover, as they do…

Hey guys! Ok, Im about to get two amps for my pickup (JL Audio Slash v2 300/2v2 & JL Audio G1700). I plan on putting them under my seats and both will be powered by 4 gauge cable. My question is this, what scenario would be better (electrically speaking only): 1. I run a 0 gauge from the battery into a distribution block with two 4 gauge outputs to my amps (all fuses will be properly placed). 2. I just run the two 4 gauge cables from my battery directly to the amps (all fuses will be properly placed).

Quicktifier There is one user on here that uses this and i have searched and found no comparison to the before and after results of this device installed on a vehicle. Basically, it's main purpose is to make your alternator more efficient under load or stress. When the alt is getting hot, this will help to prevent loss of output as much. Whereas i've also been trying to find direct results of alt failure, #1 being directed to heat which in turn #1 part to fail is the Bridge rectifier. So... this is where i'm at right now. Time + Current = heat you can run hundreds or even thousands of amps for a couple seconds off a stock alternator as long as it doesnt heat up so fast i…

I've been doin some research about this so if i make a mistake, let me know. I got a chart from the12volt that lets me know what inductors and capacitors to use for a desired slope and roll off and diagrams for slope configurations. I also know what VDC one should shoot for based upon power used. Now, i would like to start studying the parts themselves. I'm starting with capacitors first. From what i'm reading, for high quality, low distortion use, to use caps that start with poly-... preferably polystyrene film caps. I would like to purchase all my parts from partsexpress.com and these are the ones they offer- Audiocap Theta Polypropylene Film Auricap Metallized Film Day…

I just got a daihatsu rocky, and the wife is going to take over my accord, so Im ripping out my stereo equipment. 2 problems though, no room in there for 3 subs and tools, and also, not enough alternator for 1150 watts. I am going to sell my hifonics amp, and put her fosgate amp and RE sub in my accord for her. I am going to get a cheap used 2ch for the comps and take my infinity amp back as well. I was thinking about running this in the rocky and either running the front channels to the coax's, and bridge the rears to one of my 10's. OR I will just run the coax's off my deck and bridge the fronts to one 10, and the rears to another 10. but I am just wondering if a 50A al…

I recently got a nice deal on two used mm1400.1d's. Now i'm considering running them together on one BTL 12. Does it matter if one has a little more wear and tear than the other? Will it be okay as long as i check that i have the amps sending the same output wattage with a multimeter? Is it a bad idea all together?

Hey, we are trying to pull a run of 4 gauge wire through the firewall of a 4th gen Camaro. Are there any known hole in the firewall that this wire could fit through or any good places to make one before we go drilling around.

I recently installed another amp and some 6x9's in my car along with my existing sub amplifier, I have some obnoxious engine noise going on now that wasn't there or noticable before the install. My power wire and RCA's are ran on seperate sides of the car, The amps do have a common chassis ground in the trunk. Is the engine noise because of the shared ground? If you need anyother info please let me know. Thanks for the help.

I have a problem starting my car (Toyota Celica, 1.8l engine) at -20C / -4F using a HC800 as a starting battery, and I'm trying to find out if the battery is dying or if the efficiency of a HC800 at this temperature is so low that it actually has problems starting a 1.8l engine without being busted. My car don't have any stereo at the moment, the only thing unoriginal is the cd player and the battery under the hood. So what do you all believe, is the battery busted or is it alright? edit: I'm using the car for longer trips, minimum 30 min trips, so the alternator should charge it sufficiently.

I am getting a lot of different noises coming out of my speakers. I have had this problem for a while. I thought it was my pioneer head unit but I guess that proved to be false. I have installed all new grounds and everything is wired correctly. I am getting not only alternator whine but ... noise from when I turn my fans on (ac/heat etc) and the noise increases as I increase the fan speed noise when I turn my signal light on or yield lights on - they noise pulses to the clicks of the signal lights noise when I turn my interior lights on and as the lights dim the noise dissipates. The wierd part is, if I turn my car onto accessory the noises are no longer there. These no…

I have a friend running a 300w PowerBass amp to a 10" powerbass sub in his single cab Ford Ranger. He called me the other day and said he was driving around town "bumping" and his sub randomly quit working. This kid knows little to nothing about car audio, so he calls me with his problems. I went and looked at his amp and sub too see if I could figure anything out. The sub felt warm, and the amp was REALLY hot. When I played music through the system, at a very low volume, (vol 1-3), sound came out fine.. but when it got above that, the protect light came on on the amp, and would burp random thumps (not from the music) about every 3-5 seconds. With the key turned to "On", …

Sub pops when I turn off the car. Talked to physics teacher and he says it is probably a surge that happens when I shut the car off that makes the speaker pop. I am inclined to agree with him... What should I do to fix this problem? Amp= SAZ-1000D if that helps.

Hi there I just bought a 15 inch nightshade and need to pick an amp to run it. I want to get an amp that can run it at 2 ohms. Money is a lil tight,.. I was thinking about a hifonics brutus that does 1700 at ohms or a Power acoustics that does 2600 at 2 ohms, these are affordable amps but i dont know how good they are or if they over heat i would love some suggestions or links to amps that can run a 15 inch nightshade and get it LOUD without over heating or messing up the battery or alternator and is efficient and all that.. if someone is selling an amp that can push this sub please let me know. thanks!!
