okay well today, im mounting my fuse holders ect... and my question is when do i actully put my fuses in??? like do i start my car then place my 300 amp fuses (4) for my batterys(1 d3400 under the hood,2 d3100 in the trunk) and 200 amp fuses(2) for my aq3500d1 on my amp? or before i start my car i place my fuses in??? idk if that makes sense please answer anyone

I don't know much about this battery, but was wondering how it worked. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_13167_Kinetik+HC16V+-KHC-16-.html Would it be possible to connect the 12v post to my normal system (12 volt alt), and connect the 16v post to the amp and have 16 volts on that side? From the description that's what it seems like, I was just wanting some clarification. Thanks

so i got an offer ona kinetic hc2400 for 200. sounds like a good deal to me.... but i heard if you plan on running a H.O. alternator it will kill the kinetic batteries. Is this true? I wont know if i even need an alt untill i get the battery installed.

Just curious if the kinetik will be an upgrade compared to the stock G34 I have up front. The kinetik is smaller than the stock battery, but it's also a battery designed for this type of thing. Might sound like a no brainer but I wanted to make sure.

I have a chance to get some Kinetik 16v batteries for about 150 bucks from a local shop.. i wouldnt be running on 16v but on the 12volt side, should i get them? they have 65 AH and are apparently very good. any questions or comments?

i stopped by a local pawn shop and they have a kinetik 2400 for 150. they said i can take it to autozone and have them check it out before i give them the money. is this a good deal????? the outside looks flawless with very minimal scratches and dings

Should i use a Kinetik 600 Power Cell in my install for my front stage? -- Will it help with my voltage? OR! Will it strain my Alt? I know its only 400wrms.. but i have the Power Cell already. (2) Alpine Type R 6.5 component sets (1) Alpine PDX 4.100 KnuKoncpetz 4 gauge amp kit Yellow top as starter batt. 1/3 Big 3 done. (Batt to frame) Stock Alt -- 80-100 amp (not too sure)

I'm looking to purchase 18 batteries for a build. Kinetik offered me an awesome deal that's hard to pass up. My problem is that I have heard bad things about these batteries. Do you guys think if I properly maintain them I would get better results from them vs the guys that had issues?

question is if im runnning stock alt, big 3 done, and a freshly new crescendo bc2000d pushing a fi bl 15,at 1 ohm. if i get a kinetik battery would it solve dimming problems on a stock alt or should i cut my losses with that idea and save a bit more for my sweet 270 amp mechman alt.

I'll be powering a 12" xcon off a saz 1500d and mli65/not sure about tweeters on a sax 100.4d in a 96 volvo 850 glt. The stock alternator is a Bosch 90amp, and I'll be replacing the stock battery with a Kinetik 1400 (already purchased). I'll probably be putting a kinetik 2400 in the back as well. But will this be enough? I have 235k miles on the car, so not sure if I want to get a heavy duty alt. Also, which charger should I be using: 45, 60, or 80 amp? Posting here since it's 10pm and likely won't get an answer from kinetik soon (holidays), but I did email them anyway.

I bought a Kinetik HC1200 because my Diehard gold battery is getting a little old and only charges to about 3/4s original capacity. It got here last night and I figured Id test how it compared simply by dropping it in place of the Diehard. (I do realize Kinetik reccomends at least a HC1800 for replacing main starting battery) Didnt charge it till it was all connected, let it sit in there over night. I had a guy offer me a Kinetik HC600 for $30 today. He said it was in good condition and everything, just trying to get rid of all his old equipment for his new build. Are these things any good, and is this a good price for one? I was planning on getting an extra battery for my trunk soon anyway so this may help.. what do you guys think?

Sorry for the this vs. that shit but I would like to know if there is any/much difference between these two products. I'm in the market for 2 new batteries and these 2 brands are fairly similar in price and within my budget. I'm wondering if one or the other is superior, I know Kinetik makes a good, quality product but have no experience with Shuriken whatsoever. If anyone has experience with both or just perhaps knows something about them and could shed a little light here, I would greatly appreciate it. so as of the economy being dog chit, i am forced to an extremely small christmas, i will have around 275-300 dollars, so what should i go with between a powermaster2400($280) and a kinetikhc1800 ($259.99) i will be running a rockford fosgate t3001bd with a duralast yellow top and a stock alt with all 1/0 awg, i would love the powermaster but i would also like some other little things ya know. so what would be a better choice between batts

I recently installed an Eclipse CD-8445. It's been great, however I have not had much success using E-ISERV. I have not been able to transfer AreaShot files or Audio settings to my HU via CD or Memorystick. I have been able to transfer Motion Picture files however. Whenever I try to transfer AreaShot or Audio settings, I receive a "file err" message. I've tried upgrading the firmware...but that has never been done successfully either. Any help is appreciated.

So I mistakenly order a 4 Gauge and an 8 Gauge kit by accident of CCA from Knu. I was going to do a run of 4 gauge to the sub amp and 8 to the amp for the fronts. The sub amp is a Hifonics BRX2400.1D. Would the 4 Gauge be enough for just this amp?

been waiting a while to get some 1/0 from knu just to get black 1/0 OFC. its been over a month and i can not wait any longer. so what i was going to do is either go all CCA 1/0 or do i go with the power as OFC running from alt to rear of car and use the CCA as the grounds. or just go with another brand? is OFC that much better than CCA? thanks for your assistance. will be running dc power 270xp alt.

I just installed the digital knukonceptz distribution block and connected a line for the ground so the digital display can work. My question is how long should the display stay on? Its been about 15min and its still on.

I did a bit of searching, and it seems that a few people are against the KLM Copper Clad Aluminum cable. I plan on getting the 1/0 KLM cable for my Sundown 1500D for a 15ft run. KnuKonceptz claims that their 1/0 CCA will do fine as long as you're not running gobs of wattage. Anyone think otherwise? Thanks, Trevor

When you go to knukonceptz.com to order wire and it asks for qty does this mean feet? The wire I'm ordering is $1.75 for 1 qty so I guessing this is the price per foot?
