is anyone on here using them? I was looking through their website and found a diagram that shows pretty much exactly what I will be running so I figured I would just copy what they suggest. here's a picture of the diagram can someone fill me in on the pros/cons to running something like that? I'm looking at an alpine class D sub amp and wondered if anyone has used them. Its the smaller 301 but might maybe be large enough for me not sure. Anyway, it looks to have a parametric eq in it even...that would be nice. Anyone used them? I guess I'm wondering if one would work ok for my sort of SQ system, instead of an older class AB that takes more power. My kicker class d seems to work ok, but assume the Alpine is better quality yet.

i was just wondering if anyone knew of a quality monoblock amp, 1-2ohm stable, for under $250.00 and between 800-1200watts. i need one for my two 12" subs. but the thing is i am Very limited on cash. any suggestions would be greatly appriciated

First up i bought a decent power acoustic equalizer off amazon and hooked it up but it doesnt work when i turn the head unit from aux back to radio, it has cd/aux rca, sub rca, and front/rear rca's so i have it hooked from my head unit to the amp and back to the equalizer is this right? Second question probably is a stupid one but i bought the nice crescendo 6.5" component set and it came with crossovers, are these needed if i have a equalizer? if so is there a diagram on how to wire the crossovers to the mids and tweeters? thanks in advance

Just recently went from 2 ohms to .5 ohms on my Crescendo 3500d and I heard that if you wire down you should always turn down the gain from where you had it originally. I'm really not sure if this is even remotely correct but I did it anyway to be on the safe side. I was just curious if someone could help me out.

Is this a good hu for a system I got an aq2200 and btl n2 18 does anyone have one that could have some input or could anyone tell me the pros and cons.

do two runs of 1/0 awg 1 for ground and 1 for power or just ground to my chasis? i dont plan on running a ton of power. around 2000rms total. i do plan on adding a couple batteries though. i already have a run of hyperflex for power and picking up another 24ft in a few hours. i know running the ground to the batt has less reistance than a chasis ground but would i really notice anyhing between the two with such little power? if i dont do another run i can do my big 3 today, but i would rather do two runs while my car is apart than doing 1 run and big 3 and come back and tear everything apart again.

Don't buy these TXA-6004s they are defectve amps that someone got ahold of. The heatsinks are too small and they have a bad thermistor causing them to overheat and die.

I was wondering if anyone had an expeirence with the new ARC amps. I'm pretty sure its the KAR series its a mini amp. 125.2 or 125.4 and its like 8"x4"x2" or something like that. Its super small. Got everything install fired it up and was getting a distortion sound then turned the radio off and heard the subwoofer thump sound! Didn't start the engine just was checking to make sure everything was working! Also had the volume at 0. Going to check a different amp this weekend and start moving wires around to see if something is loose..... Any ideas?

Got 320 amp mechman now need advice on wiring and what type of lithium battery setup to get, wanting to run about 4-5k RMS total and hold voltage. I've read that I should run a regular lead battery with a lithium, never done a lithium setup before and need advice, all help appreciated really excited about this build!

I just swapped my 2 Sundown Audio SAZ-3000d's for 2 3500's but im getting much less volume, 2.5 v drop, subs are heating up fast, excursing lots, and even music mute amps are getting warmer than they should, one particularly more than the other. Im at a loss! please any info will be helpful!

I am getting new power and ground 0g and I was looking at getting kicker just wanted some thoughts on kicker wire and is there any other wire anyone would recommend

ok, since fords are a bit**, and the ground and power wire are connected behind the engine, and i would never be able to get them off and back on without taking alot of stuff off, maybe even the engine, can i just cut the original wires, close to where it is connected and just add my new wire to it. Because most people say that if you do the same with an amp it wont make a diffrence, so would it work. nv about clip.

Hey guys, I have a dxz925 clarion deck and wanted to know about the filter on the deck and my amp. Is it all by ear? I currently have the deck lp filter off and the amp around 60-70hz? Hard to tell with the generic dial on the amp. Is it better to have both on? I have a choice of 50, 80, and 120hz on the deck, and 50hz on up on the amp. I notice the subs sound weird when I turn the amp xo up to much, don't know how to describe the sound, but I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about. So would you recommend me trying? thanks. btw the gains are about 1/2 way up. sealed box, so ssf is off.

So i have an orion 300w amp model t475. it is plenty amazing! except the bass boost button just distorts but every other option is good and it seams under rated. Okay guys, My wife has been beggin me to get her new truck (2007) silverado Crew to sound similar to my old S-10. In the S-10 I had a downfiring box with Solobaric S10D's 4ohm running mono on a US 1000X Some might say it was a little overkill but I had it turned down and was probaly one of the cleanest systems that I had herd (Yes I know just my preference) I also had MB Quart Q's for mids and Highs running off a PPI PCX280 which I still have the Quarts and the PPI. I have a PPI pc1800.2 that burned out. I haven't opened it yet to see what fried but it's definitely dead. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place down in Glendale or LA or even OC that knows where I can get it repaired? It's a sexy amp and I'm not willing to let it go.
