I've got a P3002 that was missing the chrome cover when I bought it. I've searched all over, RFs site, watched ebay for about a month and never seen one. Anyone know where I could find one, or maybe point me in the right direction? Obviously its just cosmetic, but I'm in the process of a major rebuild, and am going to have my amps showcased, so it would be nice to have the chrome cover for it. Thanks for the help.

Before I start going through the troubleshooting list since there is noise with the radio turned off I was thinking there might be a quicker answer. Here goes, my brother had his system installed a couple of years ago in his VW "something" I think jetta but it worked fine the whole time but a week ago all of a sudden there was noise with the radio turned on or off using the turn signal, winsheild wipers, rpm, pretty much anything electrical coming through the speakers with radio on or off like Lelu please help

My audiobahn 18001DT amp isnt getting enough power out of my car a 2000 Mazda Millenia S. The stock alternator is putting out 110 amps the amp is drawing 150 amps to put out 1800 watts to 2 12" audiobahn ultra excursion subs. I have upgraded the battery to a optima red top and have installed 2 1 farad caps. When i have the car running the amp recieves 13.5-14 volts when i have the bass turned all the way down. When i turn the bass up half way the voltage drops within 5 minutes to 11.5. I currently have 4 ga wire planning on upgrading to 0 ga to stop some of the voltage loss cause im running the wire 20 feet. should i upgrade the alternator or put more caps or a battery? a…

first off im a 16 year old kid with little experience. ive done a few installs before but not very many. i have a single bl 15 on a sundown sae-1200d. but anyways my friend has a 1998 dodoge dakota and i was attempting to put a brand new kenwood head unit in it. and when i was wiring the after market harness to the head unit harness there were some weird wires. theres two harnesses to wire, one has 3 of 4 speakers and the remote wire on it and the other has power, ignition, illumination, dimmer, right front negative, amplifier ground, and mute. there is no wire from after market harness for left front negative but the one that says amp ground is the same color (white and…

Well, my friend has recently been having issues with his electrical system. He currently has a red top and yellow top in the back. He reads around 14 volts up front but his battery in the rear (not isolated) reads at 12.5 volts?! The battery in the front and rear both read at 12.5 with car off. Any clue what could be causing this issue?

"A second battery is never a good idea as it's an added strain on the alternator to charge two batteries AND supply power for the car. The ONLY time a second battery is useful is if the audio system is to be used with the car off."

I currently have a 1000 watt Rockford fosgate. I want a bit more output from my xcon. will upgrading to a 1500 watt amp make a difference? I am planning on buying a sundown from db-r. any input what so ever is appreciated.

amp cuts out when i: hit brake pedal OR turn on electric fans OR turn on compressor OR turn on a/c OR turn volume to loud (with gain turned almost all the way down and/or set properly) i have a red top under hood, a 280 amp alt., big 3, and kinetik 2400 running a hk4000d (i know these are power hungry, but not that much?) to a 18" fi btl(full loaded), all 1/0 gauge, knukonceptz rca's, jensen in-dash(vm9412) thought it was rca's, changed them, still does it so its either headunit rca signal(volts) or the amp any help appreciated, been having problem awhile and just want to get it figured out!

I am (hopefully) about to order an upgraded alt for my car soon. I have 2 200A solenoids in the car and I need to make sure they are wired correctly before i take a chance in the alternator burning them up. EVERY COMPANY i have talked to has told me to wire them the same way but i do not believe them as it doesn't sound right so i want your guys opinion. Im going to be ordering my new head unit later on today, but I would like to know if anyone has/used this type before and how well it works, I'm getting it because it has 3 pre-amp settings and had a USB and AUX port on it, my old head unit has neither of these and I'm only using CD's which get scratched way too easily. Should I get a T150002 or a kicker zx1500.1 Or I can get 2 RF T5002 vs getting 2 kicker zx550.2 Which would you guys get if you were me? They would run 2 12" Fi SSDs with all the upgrades

With two D1 ohm subs if wired in series for a 4 ohm load with two 1500rms 1ohm mono amps strapped would that give me a final load on the amps of 2ohms being there strapped? If wired in series/parallel for a 1 ohm load with two 1500rms 1ohm mono amps strapped would that give me a final load on the amps of .5ohm strapped? Also out of all the researching I've done regarding strapping, is it true that 2 strapped 1500rms 1ohm mono amps be like a 3k 2ohm amp? I have a unit I bought a couple years ago that I'm going to try and do a warranty exchange on. I think I paid a little over $200 for it. I could add another $200 on top of that, so $400 total. What does BB sell that is actually good? High voltage outputs (at least 4v) and ipod connection are extremely important.

hi, in my last attempt to rule out installation problem i rewired my whole system again plus i added a ground run and i still having this problem: ok, if i have my eq on my headunit set on flat and turn everything off like loud and my highpass i have to have my gains all the way up to even get 20 volts coming out of it( rated for 100 rms @ 4 ohms) and also if i have my eq set to anything but flat and the gains are not all the way down the amp goes into protection mode at 3/4 volume. and i mean all the way down. like i had one just slightly up and it goes into protection mode and also it does not seem to get as loud as it did before. now i don't have an o scope or know any…

Hi, I am selling my 4 channels Boston amp. I can make a good deal with it, and I don't use rear speakers no more ! I need a small (in size) 2 ch amp to power my Focal 165 KP. I need about 2 * 100 watts rms or even less, and my head unit is good enough, so I don't need lots of features on the amp. The problem is the budget : I want a really cheap amp! But I want a brand new one. The Sundown 125.2 would be good, and would match the sub amp (a saz1000), but I would like it cheaper. Hey guys, been lurking for a while now (on CA.com, DIYMA and ROE more). I thought I registered but guess not. Anyway I bought this AX 5600 BNIB, I believe it is a 2006 model. Upon arrival I noticed that the Xovers were 50-500 for the sub channel, 50-500 for the "Front" 2ch and the "Rear" were able to be bandpassed from 50-500 and 200-5k. I have an Alpine CDA-9835 HU and CDT ES-6 mids and DRT-25 tweeters and a single 12" SS RL-p in a 2 cube box tuned to 32hz. I want to run the comps active off this amp. Now I'm stumped why the "Front" channel Xover is 50-500hz. Please tell me I have a fluke amp that has a typo and that really should be a say, 2000-20000hz HP filter....? Or…

Ok, so I just received and hooked up my saz3000d and everything went smooth. It is a very powerful amp. However, I am having one issue. While the truck is NOT running and my head unit is paused, or the av source is off (it is a avic-n4 nav) so the hu itself is still on, and so is the amp. There is a low humming sound coming from my subs. Something else I notice is when I touch the amp it either goes completely away or almost does. Can anyone shed any light on this for me please. More info you may want: I have quality rca jacks no where close to any other wires. I relocated my ground with no change. I have a memphis eq.
