I have a soundstream XXX4000d is this amp worth anything? I have it currently on my 12 inch warden and I am not feeling the power or seeing the numbers that I should be. Is this amp junk or am I missing something. I have 3 batteries, a 220amp alt and the dual 0 gauge inputs going from the batteries to the amp. The sub is in 3 cub with a slot port tuned to 47hz. I am only at 145.2db and we tuned the box for the rez freq of the car.

Anyone know if this is really a mono amp as some say? Specs say it's a 2 channel 50 x 2 @ 4 ohms, 80 x 1 @ 4 ohms, and 100 into 8 ohms. I've read that the amp was mislabeled at the factory and is in fact a mono amp. Figured this would be the best place to ask with all the old school fanatics on this forum. Thanks.

Should I get a T150002 or a kicker zx1500.1 Or I can get 2 RF T5002 vs getting 2 kicker zx550.2 Which would you guys get if you were me? They would run 2 12" Fi SSDs with all the upgrades

ok im a little said im some where in the range of 13.9 14.2while my car is running. and im 12.3 with the car off. i wanna be higher.. what must i do. 200 amp h/o alt 3 yellow tops. big 3 1 run of 0 gauge 3x300 amp circut breaker

So here's the question, i just got my saz-1500d in the mail yesterday, and there is a bass knob.. i only really see noobs with one. so are they worth it, i always just tossed them. if i was to turn it up all the way would it start clipping my amp or will it only raise my gain to where it is at on my amp? i have no problem turning down the sub on my headunit.

Where can you find these I’ve seen someone mention they can handle 6v out

So I am currently running a Cadence iA7 and couldn't be more pleased with it's performance. I just ran across a deal from friend who is selling a RF Power T1500-1bdCP brand new for $300. I know I will get substantially more power from the Rockford and I think I am going to switch the two out unless someone tells me why they would keep the Cadence over the RF. Give me your thoughts!

What do you use to islolate the front & rear battery??? ...should I use a battery isolator; or, will a high power relay work ok?

like the title states i am looking for something that will do 1200-1500 @2ohm. i have not payed attention to the amp market for some time now and i dont even know where to start looking. doesnt have to be top of the line but i am looking for a good cost to performance ratio... can you guys help me out?

so i see alot of people selling used batteries , capacitors, and batt-caps ect. (batteries are what im interested in) and i always thought that batteries and what not lose charge, voltage go dead or what ever you what to call it over time. so can you just keep them charged and they last forever? as always im lost lol

Hey guys. I have 4 D1 coil subs and I want to wire to a final load of 2 ohm. Here is that: What a mess!!! My question is can I wire 2 pair like so at 4 ohm and run each to the amps bringing the final load to 2 ohm final? This option would allow me to run heaver ga wire and make wiring much easier. My amps manual says to run master positive to sub positive and slave positive to sub negative with a jumper wire running from master negative to slave negative. My 2 D1 subs are currently wired like so using all 4 speaker inputs on the amp to bring the load to 1 ohm. Let me know if I am not being clear about something and Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello I recently picked up two Kicker L7 12s (yesterday) and I need and additional amp to power both of them. I have a kicker 750 installed from a previous system, But I don't have the money at the moment to but another 750. So I found a deal on craigslist a guy selling 600.1 for 75 bucks. I made arrangements to meet with him tomorrow. Will having tow different power amps cause an audio problem? I know its a funny question and probably stupid but I just didn't know. Planet Audio AP3000D or Audiopipe 1800.1D? Specs on Planet Audio amp are higher than the Audiopipe. This is to push a 12" JL Audio w7. Any suggestions?

So I made this thread here And so far it seems that either I get some kind of amp or not bother with stock speaker replacement. I was thinking of getting smallest amp possible to power the speaker replacements and hide it in dash, taking power and ground from factory harness would be even better, but finding such an amp, that's challenge. What about channel separation, is it important when shopping for a car amp? If so, minimum value? What am I supposed to look for when choosing among the different makes and models? Which parameters, par price is most important? I would like to get suggested minimum and maximum values where appropriate. Values are for me like a walking stick, I doubt my progress without it/them. Not as face value, but more as a guidance. This is just for the gross sorting phase, to keep the numbers of prospects as low as possible. I'm new to this site and had a couple of qestions about the Sundown saz3000d. I have 2 digital design 9515's dual 2's and I was wondering what would be a good amp to place with them? Right now I have 2 audiobahn 2300 hct but I am not satisfied and I was thinking of putting 2 saz3000d's in replace of them. I already know I need to upgrade my charging system. Any suggestions? Dana

this is my first stereo install and im a little confused. i see that the harness that plugs into the stereo has a longer black ground wire. my adapter harness has a black wire for a ground wire to attach. ive heard that youre supposto ground the stereo to the metal inside the dash. will it be okay leaving the ground wire on the harness that plugs into the factory plug left un touched. will everything function properly? should i NOT solder them but instead ground it in the dash? also the p connect is for the remote wire right?

i just got word that i might be able to get one of the new jbl amps (bpx1100.1 or bpx2200.1) for cheap.....like manufacturer cost cheap....worth thinking about, i've heard very little about these amps, and if i do decide to go this route it will be replacing my hifonics 1500 to power a xxx15 :boxin:
