hi, i am going to be getting 2 12" SX and i am looking for an amp for them. they are only dvc2 so the ohm loads it can either be .5, 2 if i get a mono amp or 1 or 4 ohm if i get 2 mono amps. i would like to be as cheap as possable as that means i can get them sooner. which is a good thing. i was thinking of 2 md1d or a md3d if i can find out if they are .5 ohm stable. any suggestions?

I have a IA 6.4 that worked fine before i took it out of the vehicle i sold. Sat up for 2 years and connected it to power today. Now when it gets power it goes straight into protect and makes a clicking noise. Anyone have this problem before??

I accidentally cracked the cone of my Fi Q12 not paying attention to having cargo secured properly. Anyhow, It's been replaced but once I put it back together, the woofer practically has zero output and what's there sounds really distorted. I double checked my ground and it reads .2 ohms. Power to the amp is good (reads 12.65V on battery). Reading across the woofer coils is good (1.2ohms). I swapped out a new RCA thinking maybe that's it and still the same thing. Messing around with the head unit and amp settings make no difference. I even replaced the woofer completely and it also does the same thing. Ok, i have a pioneer avic N3 but the rca's are bad on the unit. how do i replace them or repair them. i have used a line output converter but i really dont like to use them. any help would be great. THANKS!!!!!!! Eddie G

Current set up: PSI P2 15" Hifonics Zeus 3200.1d Wired:2 Ohm While listening to the music yesterday the bass suddenly cut off. Check the wires for amp everything looks secure. Check the subwoofer everything looks good. Amp turns on but sends no music. Is the amp blown?

Going to use it to power an RE audio 15" SE-X subwoofer. wondering did I make a mistake with this amp? Or are people saying good things about them still? For now, the sub will be seeing 2 cubic feet sealed, as I am currently in a budget crunch and don't want to shell the cash to build a different enclosure (this is also the reason for the amp choice, was price point).

anyone know of where i can get a Head Unit repaired at? I have an older panisonic that i bought solely to play dvd-audio and it wont read either of the 2 dvd-a discs i have... it plays cds and dts fine but not dvd-a

I HAVE A JVC KW-AVX830. The usb port is a cord that comes from the back of the HU and it it hard wired to it. I have not had the thing a year yet. It was working fine everyday. Until yesterday. I plugged my phone.in and nothing. Tried my thumb drive too. Same thing. I'm pretty sure nothing has changed.as far as the set up goes. Pulled out the HU today and wiggled the wire around a bit and still, nothing. Kinda P.O. about.it. I just got hold of a bunch of supposedly high bass song for.my thumb drive. Any thoughts ?

I've seen these batteries locally in Houston but can't find much info on them. Looks identical to a kinetic. Cheap rip off? Or just a generic at a lower price?

Higher pre outs are good right??

First of all, who all has had any experience with these amps? They are stable @ 2ohms for about 1200w. Just curious if they might be able to handle running @1.34ohms. I have a 200amp alt, big 3, and 2 red tops for an electrical system. Thx for the help.

Hi guys I hope all is good. Years ago we all had capacitors in our cars ( 1990's ) and later we went to the Batcaps. Why did we stop using them?? Did batteries kill them off are what? Are do people still use them and I just didn't see them?

I have 2 12" eclipse 7200s and Im looking for a replacement amp for my RF Power 800a2 Id like to throw a 1000w+ to it and have the ability to turn up the bass gain like I can with the RF Suggestions?

Alpine 9885 (4V) Front: CDT CL-62 (160RMS) w/ Soundstream Rubicon 2.600 (180x2 @ 4ohm) Rear: CDT CL-69X (100RMS) w/ Soundstream Rubicon 2.250 (75x2 @ 4ohm) Fi BTL 12" D2, loaded (2000RMS) Soundstream Rubicon 1.2500 (2500 @ 1ohm) I want to add a duplicate set of CL-62 up front. The 2.600 amp is rated for 300x2 @ 2ohms as well. So I assume, wire the crossovers in parallel from the amp. + to + and - to -. That would yield a 2ohm load from the amplifier giving me how many watts per component at 4ohm each?

Hello, I have a '12 mustang with the factory head unit and I want to power the door speakers and a sub. Is there a way to do this without replacing the head unit? My air controls are integrated into the same panel and there are no aftermarket options for me that look nice, and did I mention the faceplates are $300 and up? not including the double din I think a line output converter would be the normal solution but how do you get 3 sigals out of one?

I recently have gotten an old school amp and when i hooked it up on monday everything sounded great. Yesterday i go out and start play i hear a buzzing/static sound coming from the driverside. so I turn up the volume and did a fade from left to right and the sound was only coming from the driver side. I went and cut the speaker wire and ground wire to give it a fresh end and it that seemed to stop it. An hour later went out the sound was back so i swaped the rcas around took channel ones rca and plug it into channel two and vice versa. Here's what i have Excessive Amperage 180 amp alt. 110 at idle big three plus more doen in 1/0 ga optima yellow 19 feet 1/0 ga to the trunk 5 inches of 1/0 from amp to ground MTX thunder elite 1501d during testing yesterday i found that on the voltmeter mounted in the dash (aftermarket) it would drop down to 12.3 and lower during a romp on the new xcon. i haven't tested at the amp yet but shouldn't the volt meter be a good indication of the drop in the rear? the alt tested out good the last time we had it benchtested by excessive. any clues or ideas?
