hey guys im putting a new system in my car and i pretty much have everything i need except for wires, amp kits and a box. my focus right now is to get wires that are the best suited for my system right now. Im not sure what type of wires or amp kits i should so any help would be awesome. I have a 2002 toyota camry Kenwood excelon headunit Image Dynamics 6.5" 2 ohm Component System (CXS62 V.2) (front door speakers) (1) 12" Alpine Type-R sub (SWR-1243D) sundown audio SAZ-1000D (1-channel mono amp) (for sub) sundown audio SAX-125.2 (2-channel amp) (for the front speakers) i think knukonceptz.com has some pretty good wires but i just dont know what type i should get, what ki…

ok so im getting two fi bl 15's and i really dont know which way to go for amps. i was thinking of the crescendo bc3500 or the rockford fosgate T1500-1bdCP, i would have gone with the T2500 but i dont want to pay 1600 for an amp. so which would be better the crescendo or the T1500??

What are some good 4 channel amps that can run 2-way active off of them. Something between 100-150 RMS. I would like to spend $350 or under.

im lookin for a headunit for my buddy. all he needs is 1 set of RCA's, and just the basic headunit with CD/MP3 playback. he doesnt wanna spend more then $250. thanks guys!

Does anyone know the diameter of the crankshaft pulley in a 1997 stock 5.7l 1500 chevy suburban? My suburban is in the shop right now getting the fuel pump replaced but i just wanted to know so i could go ahead and order a new alternator from mechman tomorrow. Thanks in advance!

I just got an amp Its a crossfire 360 that got in trade. I tried to hook it up and one channel is real low and the other is clear when I play music thru it. Ok lets get down to the nitty gritty What I want to know is 1) Might it be blown? 2) The entire amp Blown or just that channel? 3) Is it safe to run the amp like that ? 4) I have looked and looked and I cannot find a PDF file for this amp, can someone help ? does anyone know where i can buy raptor 0 gauge wire i have checked bunch of online stores and cant seem to find it i would like to keep all my wires matching but the store here i got it from first time charges 85$ for 25 foot wanna try to find it online cheaper if possible Thanks

So i bought 2 15" fi btl's off a friend and i was wondering if a rf t2500bdcp amp would be ok for both subs at .5ohms? I dont compete and i play mostly spanish music...my electrical consist of a 270a alt and 3 xs3200 batts...all 0/2 gauge wire...

no constant 12v. Deck won't hold memory. I'm down to 2 more things to trouble shoot one check all wiring in car. I also have the engine light on, fog lights not working and first setting on windshield wipers not working. I have checked all fuses in dash. checked unit wiring. I'm going to check to make sure that the factory wires are matching with the aftermarkets correctly. Other than those 2 i'm completely clueless. The car is a 95 altima unit is alpine 9835

Ill be getting my 270a alternator in Wednesday and was wondering what size fuse to use for the wire between the alt. & batt. I'm assuming a 100a ANL will be insufficient when the alternator is running full tilt.

I just had the 5030 installed in my girlfriends car and I need advice from someone that has experience with this deck on the settings. I have 6 1/2s in the front and back running off the deck and a 750 watt Kicker amp powering a sealed Icon 15.

I have a aouple of rattles left to get out of my car. I bought some 60 mil dynamat type sound deadener off ebay. one of the last rattles I have is the heat deflector that is mounted 2 1/2" away from my muffler. it probably doesn't get near as hot as the muffler, but I want to get some feedback on it before I put any on the top of the deflector. does anyone know how much heat these deadeners can take safely. Should I put the deadener on the deflector? any advice would be appreciated. thanks Josh

My buddy has a charger its a "smart charger" so he says will charge a 2v something charge its like the slowest charge he says. It has every abbreviation on it but agm. Will it work for my 3100?

So i already want more power. how well would a hifonics brutus bxi2008d on .5 ohms? ill be running two. alt will be a second 220 on top of my stock alt, plus one batt up front and another by the amps. maybe two by the amps. has anyone had experience with them? i cant even get mine warm at 1 ohm right now... just kicking around ideas, as this would be my cheapest way to get around 4-5k rms. otherwise i gotta buy a big amp and thats lots of money. i want s Sundown 4500 but im just dreaming there. i can afford what im proposing... thinking about sayin screw it an getting the amp this week and trying it... lol. although i really should get the batt/alt power first... anywa…

Errr!!! I have posted on a lot of forums and still gotten no answer about the clarion. I am looking at either that or the Pioneer 960 but I am in a bind over which one i want. There are no shops around me so i can't go and listen/see them so I have to make my dicision on other ppls experienses with these 2 HU's. Please help me!!!!! Jon

I am gong to be getting 4 Rockford fosgate t2500-1bdcp's and im wondering if there was a way to calculate exactly how much power I will need. I am planning on getting 2 DC 300 amp Spx alternators and 5 xs 2700 Batteries. will that be enough or does anyone have any other suggestions?

What size alt do you suggest? 99 blazer with power acoustik a3000db and power acoustik 0v2-400 2300rms +85x2rms+regular electronics they have a group buy over a ca.com and i need a new alt so what do you think? i dont really want the small case, but i dont know yet im about to call him and get prices but is 200a enough for my setup, i have a everstart maxx batt up front so what do you guys think
