Any suggestions, about 800watts, its for a 10" ssd

I'm considering going with a stealth install in my new car so I'm researching quality amps that have a small footprint. My previous amps have been eD and I'm currently using a DLS A5. I will be limited to about 11X11 for the new amps and need something to push 1-3 subs (potentially as low as 1ohm total) and a set of components up front. I've seen the Alpine PDX amps and they fit the bill as far as size and power but I'm not sure how I feel about the Alpine gear. I've always considered them kind of mass market average quality stuff. And I also don't know about running Class D for my front stage. The Zed Audio Mililith and Gladius are just a little too big otherwise t…

Hey guyz, i heard 2 pops about 2 seconds apart then hit play on my iphone and silence. Ive had 2 different amps on my door speakers. ONe was an alpline mrp300.4 or something like that and now i have phoenix gold octane 9.0.1. both are 5 channel and i used only the 4 channels for my door speakers. I have pioneer 5800mp headunit, the pico fuse is blown so i catch a goodbit of alt whine and noise. which leads me to think that has something to do with the amps blowing? Could that have an effect on the amp if the fuse is blown? I checked all fuses and connections. It wasnt playin music when it happened either, which is weird to me. looking for the biggest oem fit alternator for a honda civic. i dont mind going up to 200 amp but there not a direct fit. and looking for a single wire alternator as well.

Anybody have any suggestions, pros or cons about this? I have a nice JVC (forget the model#) that has a bad a@@ equalizer and five volt preouts, and basicly everything I want in a headunit. I've done a lot of research on here and in general about line drivers, some people swear by them and some say they are a waste of money. Anyways I came across an Audio Control video that explained the said line driver and they were saying that like power wire rca's tend to lose a little power with longer runs and could possibly pick up noise and such. Starting yesterday my sub will play and then stop. I'm running 1 psi 15 inch platform 2 sub wired to 4 ohms on a hifonics zeus 3200 watt amp. The hifonics light on amp will still be illuminated but the light on the bass knob will fade until it's off completely. When I restart the car the sub sometimes will play and other times Not. All wires are secure. Any ideas?

I'm working my Audioque 4x90 to death. I need a big 2 channel to temporarily run my 2 SA-12's. The only thing I come across that really catches my interest are Rockford's. The New P500-2, older P550.2 and T3002 are serious dopeness. I'm not worried about a subsonic because they're sealed for the time being. I don't mind not being able to give them 750-800 per but I do want to give them atleast 250 each. I was looking at the Sundown 125.2 but I don't know just how much it does at 4ohm bridged. Hey everyone. Was thinking of picking up a Crescendo Audio BC2000D amp to run 1 15" sub. My question is what kind and how many batteries do you think i would need? I have a 200 amp alt. and have done the big 3. The car this is going into is not a daily driver. Mostly just to car shows. Any help would be great. Thanks

When an active x-over is set, amps that power mids and highs, do the x-overs on these amps need to be set to Full Pass? Also, amps that power subwoofers, do these amps' LPF need to be set as high as possible? and if their is a subsonic filter on the active x-over, does the subsonic filter on the amp need to be set as low as possible?

Hey guys, I have an old school RF amp. I believe it's a 25.2 Punch (All Grey with the side mounted fins). It has the card on the back of the amp to switch between full/ low and high pass. Does anyone recall the crossover points to this model?

Im looking at these 2 amps to power my 12" polk sub(150WRMS) and my front SEPS. I have two 12" Kicker L7s on a PA 2400DB, which does about 1400W. My subs are dual 2 ohm and im looking for an amp that does at least 1600 clean watts. Or anything yall would recommend to make these things beat. Don't get me wrong though these things do hit hard. I have a sealed box now, but i may want to go to a ported box. What do yall think the cubic ft. and tuning should be for 2 12" L7s. (I listen mostly to rap) Thanks in advance.

How do most HUs hold up under high voltage, say 16V?

needs some opinions on a good 1/2 din eq for under 150. just what some people are using. the main thing that i want is two inputs not aux just frt and rear with three outputs but if i have to i can do without.

Hey this is my first post, and off the bat let me say I am no audio genius nor am I close. I was refered here by Helotaxi, and I'm sure you guys can answer any questions I have. So that said, I am in the market for a Audio/Video head unit, that has Ipod control, mp3,cds, and all that good stuff. Someone on my car forums (SRTForums.com) was selling a Pioneer AVH 57000 I believe for 500$. It has the ipod adapter already, and the switch so you can watch while on the road. Anyways I was wondering if you guys could point me in the direction of a great AV unit for around that price, or if you have any tips or anything else. Thanks You. -Mykel

I just got it in the mail today and I want to intall in my 07 Suburban. Anyone here who has this install on they're tahoe/suburban, where did you mout these unit at? Did you mout it on the firewall, or did you mout it near the fuse box? Is there an easy accessory wire available under the hood that I could use to turn the isolator on/off? Also is there anything else I have to do special with this isolator since this is a newer truck? From the directions it looks like I'll go from the alterntor to the one of the isolator's hot lead. Then from the 2nd isolator hot lead to a fuse/relay switch, which will then go to the second battery. Does that sound about right? Then there a…

I and a friend (electrical engineer) are going to build an amp for a custom install. Anyone here done this? We are in need of some manufacturing parts. We need to find a generic amp case, dc/dc boost converter 12v to 40v 1000watts, and misc parts like terminal blocks and such. We can sacrafice on old US amps for parts but would love to build it with all new stuff! BTW its going to be a 150watt per channel x5 amp for in car theater!
