ok so im getting two fi bl 15's and i really dont know which way to go for amps. i was thinking of the crescendo bc3500 or the rockford fosgate T1500-1bdCP, i would have gone with the T2500 but i dont want to pay 1600 for an amp. so which would be better the crescendo or the T1500??

Looking to purchase a good amp kit to power my SAZ 1500d. I was looking at the Kolossus 1/0 Amplifier Installation Kit on Knukonceptz.com, but I'm open to suggestions/brands. Thanks for the help.

I just picked up a pair of MTX Thunder TA81001D amps, and according to the engineers at MTX there is no way to disable the subsonic filter or bypass the built in EQ in the pre-amp board (which is a crock). The TA92001, TE4001, and TE1501 units all have a button to bypass all of this garbage, but no such button exists on the TA81001. If you take the pre-amp board out, you can clearly see a spot on the board for the bypass switch - Labeled as "S102". MTX refuses to give me a schematic or instructions on what needs to be jumpered, removed, etc. to eliminate the EQ and Subsonic filter pieces. I have heard that a big solid chunk of wire has alot of resistance so thinking along those lines I was wondering if using a wire adapter was bad or not. Wow it looks like nothing came up... So, i'm wanting to get a Sundown SAE-1000D to power my Fi Q10. My sub has dual 1ohm coils. My question is, what will i have to do to keep my amp from burning up if i wire it to .5ohms? If planning big three and a bigger battery. Any ideas? Thanks, Michael

I just got an amp Its a crossfire 360 that got in trade. I tried to hook it up and one channel is real low and the other is clear when I play music thru it. Ok lets get down to the nitty gritty What I want to know is 1) Might it be blown? 2) The entire amp Blown or just that channel? 3) Is it safe to run the amp like that ? 4) I have looked and looked and I cannot find a PDF file for this amp, can someone help ? So i bought 2 15" fi btl's off a friend and i was wondering if a rf t2500bdcp amp would be ok for both subs at .5ohms? I dont compete and i play mostly spanish music...my electrical consist of a 270a alt and 3 xs3200 batts...all 0/2 gauge wire...

Ill be getting my 270a alternator in Wednesday and was wondering what size fuse to use for the wire between the alt. & batt. I'm assuming a 100a ANL will be insufficient when the alternator is running full tilt.

i have a kicker zx1000.1 rated at 1258 watts total at 2ohms, and im goin to be buyin an 15" Fi BL soon with the p chamfer and the daily option on it. i listen to rap 99% of the time. so will that power be enough for a daily 15" Fi BL?? thanks

Is there a way to run a h/o alt for just the stereo and its batteries AND keep the stock for truck functions only? Looking at 200 amp alt for the system and it seems no one has any idea if this will work. I can make the bracket and pully, I've got a lathe and CNC here so no problem there, but I would like to solve this issue and how much I have to chit out to make it work. Should I just bolt up a couple of big junkyard GM's and call it a day? Any ideas??

I have a few spare 10" Alpine Type S dual 2ohm subs that have been sitting around for a little over a year with no home. I'm planning on using one of them in a friends sealed box (.75) running it at 1ohm using the Zed Minilith. The Alpine is rated at 300rms. The Zed is rated a bit over 600rms at 1ohm. Id this too much for that sub, or should I just wire it to a 4ohm load.

My buddy has a charger its a "smart charger" so he says will charge a 2v something charge its like the slowest charge he says. It has every abbreviation on it but agm. Will it work for my 3100?
