so im thinkin about selling my hifonics 1610d and buying a sae1200d from sundown. would that b a good idea? im running 1 18" fi q with bp power in a 6.3 cubic foot box after sub and port displacement.

I'm looking for a deck that has the same style built in crossover as my CDA-9886 for my girlfriend's car. She likes the built in crossover feature of my deck, but wants something different. Any recommendations?

I just got it off craigslist for a $100, its rated 150x1@4, 300x1@2 and 800x1@1. Are these underrated? I wanted to know because i plan to buy a Fi Q. thanks.

Hey everyone. Was thinking of picking up a Crescendo Audio BC2000D amp to run 1 15" sub. My question is what kind and how many batteries do you think i would need? I have a 200 amp alt. and have done the big 3. The car this is going into is not a daily driver. Mostly just to car shows. Any help would be great. Thanks

Hey guys I would be wiring up my 4 channel amp, and have a few questions. (1) I have read that the power wire should go one side of the car and speaker wire (rca) should go on the other side. Should the remote wire go on the side of the power wire or on the side with the speaker wire? (2) I am using 2 ch bridged for my sub, and the other 2 ch ( built in crossover on amp), for a pair of mids and tweeter. what frequency should I set it to? (3) The HU has 3 pairs of 4 volt rca pre output, should I use these or the the wires from the hu haness to feed the amp or a combination of both? , I have rear speakers which can also be included, what would be the best setup? ok so i do think im gonna just install my new x889 by myself instead of having someone do it for 55 bucks....now i was wondering a couple of things here....they sent the wiring harness to me for free but i wont need that one since ive allready had one installed before right???just the small one that comes with the deck i will use to the one already in there? will butt connectors and some elec tape be fine to do the job with?? Let me know anything else or any help if i forgot anything. ok, since fords are a bit**, and the ground and power wire are connected behind the engine, and i would never be able to get them off and back on without taking alot of stuff off, maybe even the engine, can i just cut the original wires, close to where it is connected and just add my new wire to it. Because most people say that if you do the same with an amp it wont make a diffrence, so would it work. nv about clip.

I have someone interested in buying my two RF t1500bdcp amps. Ill be running two xcon 15s d1 in 4 cubes per sub. Which amp is better and why between cresendo 3500d and sundown 3500v2? And for that matter would it be wise to go from what i have to what im looking at?

Hey guys, I have an old school RF amp. I believe it's a 25.2 Punch (All Grey with the side mounted fins). It has the card on the back of the amp to switch between full/ low and high pass. Does anyone recall the crossover points to this model?

I'll be powering a 12" xcon off a saz 1500d and mli65/not sure about tweeters on a sax 100.4d in a 96 volvo 850 glt. The stock alternator is a Bosch 90amp, and I'll be replacing the stock battery with a Kinetik 1400 (already purchased). I'll probably be putting a kinetik 2400 in the back as well. But will this be enough? I have 235k miles on the car, so not sure if I want to get a heavy duty alt. Also, which charger should I be using: 45, 60, or 80 amp? Posting here since it's 10pm and likely won't get an answer from kinetik soon (holidays), but I did email them anyway.

I just installed a Pioneer AVH-1400DVD, Audiopipe APSM-1500d, and Kicker L7 12 in a friend's 2011 Dodge Challenger. It all came together good. Sounded great while playing music off of his iphone and flash drive. And it sounds good when using the radio until i turn the bass knob up (max output at about 750 watts at 1 ohm). The more i turn, the more static i have. I have never heard of this happen before. What could it possibly be?

please post what are the best 2000watt amps @ 2ohms. looking for something thats consistant or under rated at 2000 watts. it will be used to run 2 10" ssa icons in a ported enclosure.

Just curious about this amp, I found it online, but not many reviews. It's also in the SSA store. Looks sick, but no reviews there either. Anyone heard one, seen one, smelled one, etc. lol.

I'm interested in a 14v setup, I'm not sure how many batteries I'll need since they're only 50ah. I have a 320a Mechman externally regulated alt. I will be running 4 3500's at .5 each. My car starts freaking out at around 15v, so a 16v setup with a stepdown is a must, but I'm not sure how many I need for my car/accessories to run since the ones from XS are only 50a maximum.

I just installed a second yellow optima I have my two amps wired and installed I have two extra sets of ground,power, and remote electrical taped at the end I want to be ready to just plug and play when my two new amps come in the mail I'm seeing 12.6 at stop signs and hit, but do not stay, at 14.4 when getting on the freeway the volt meter is wired to the new battery postitive I'm wondering if maybe I need to charge this new battery some more before i expect 14.4? It was made 05/12 everything is fused with knu including the alternator with high current 300amp fuses big 3 done in 1/0 the alternator is a powerbastards 220 amp, it does 109 @1500 (tested) any ideas? -thanks

hello all been awhile .. i have a question about alts i have 3 alts 2 for system the other powers the van. its a mecury/toyota van. yes mecury /toyota they called it mercury villager but made by toyota. im using chevy small case alts..they charge fine i only use the one wire off of them the sence wire. i dont use the dummy light wire.. now i was told that buy doing this alt.it would not draw power with sence wire connected to audio batterys . ive had many people argue the fact it does not draw power.. ook well this eve i was standing by my van and could here a slight wine.. i opened hood and related it to the alt sound was clearly from alt . second the alt is warm just s…

Well, the used Orion 8004 crapped on me and after trying to pinpoint where the issue was, I decided to scrap it. Noticed the Zapco i-450.4 selling at a local shop for $190USD (on EBay). I know it is a new line, but I'm curious if anyone has used one, or can tell me if the price is decent. Looks to be about what I'm after - 4 channel @75watts RMS, has all the xover bells and whistles which I won't need. Using it for complete active setup. Thanks, Mark

What size alt do you suggest? 99 blazer with power acoustik a3000db and power acoustik 0v2-400 2300rms +85x2rms+regular electronics they have a group buy over a ca.com and i need a new alt so what do you think? i dont really want the small case, but i dont know yet im about to call him and get prices but is 200a enough for my setup, i have a everstart maxx batt up front so what do you guys think

I have an alpine cda-9855 and i has the option to use a 7 band graphic or a 5 band parametric.. what is the difference between the graphic and parametric??
