I just picked one up for $150 to run a pair of 10" IDQ D4's and a pair of CDT Cl-5x coaxes in my friends car. Just wondering if it was worth the 150 or not. 4 ohm stereo @ 75 WRMS x 4 2 ohm stereo @ 150 WRMS x 4 4 ohm bridged @ 300 WRMS x 2 all rated at 13.5 vdc

When I get my system together, I'd like to have some valuable time with an RTA to get the EQ (PXA-H701) setup right. Has anyone tried using this? Phonic PAA3 Handheld RTA Its not for setting up a competition vehicle or anything, but I'd like to know if it is good enough for me to get my eq flat with pink noise and I'll adjust by ear from there. Your thoughts?

Now, im looking at a XS Power D3100, but is that too much? Is a XS Power D5100 good enough? the D5100 has max amps: 1,600A and the D3100 has max amps: 3,200A My system only has 1500rms so is the D5100 good because its max amps are 1,600A? I really dont know anything about batteries so dont go picking on me …

Here's what I want: single din MP3/WMA Bluetooth USB 3 sets pre outs In the past I was always partial to Nakamichi but no Nakamichi head unit has the options I'm looking for. I used to have a Pioneer 8600 and it was great so I could say I'm a Pioneer fan as well. I've been looking around, kind of leaning towards a Pioneer Premier 610BT, a Pioneer 1610BT or an Eclipse CD5030 or an Eclipse CD3200. Any personal preferences out of these or could I look at some others? I'd like to stay under $250 if possible.

How do I bootleg my 700bt Pioneer deck so that I can watch videos while I am driving. I have seen people do it, I can do it but once I hit 7 mph it turns to protection mode.....help please

i was driving home last night and plugged my phone into the usb and nothing happened , but i just drove home with the radio on and didnt pay much attention. i went out today to mess with it and the usb will say its charging my phone but usb and pandora wont show up on the cd player. i kept scrolling through the sources and now when i scroll through them the cd player just shuts off. any ideas how to fix this?

So I am tired of having multiple thumb drives and wanted to used and external hard drive. before I go buy one and download a bunch of music will this work?

I have my mind pretty made up on this deck. Anybody know anywhere that has it in stock that has a reasonable price on it? I hope thezeb gets it soon. I know a place where I can pricematch it for 380 or so but they aren't in stock. I am all hyped up about it.

The pioneer 880PRS / P80RS has an internal amplifier that can be be turned on and off as required. 1. Can the unit be used in network mode and still use the internal amplifier to output to the front and rear channels? 2. if the channels are still powered in network mode, do they have filtering on them? and can front/rear balance still be controlled from the headunit? As most of you know, i picked up pioneer 9300 from ebay for a nice cheap price. However, it is DOA..im out $80 Anywhoo... I put the faceplate on my friends 9300, the one that had the face stolen. This was its replacement. The H/U powers up fine, display works, no imfamous line in it. However, i cant use any of the buttons. Nor the remote. Ive reset it, cleaned the points with some glass cleaner, didnt have rubbing alcohol. Still nothing. Does anyone have any idea why it doesnt work ? The older unit worked flawessly, so i know its not the H/U

Theres gotta be a faster way to scroll thru the ipod interface.... the 6000 model was easy u can go by scrolling thru the letter and pick the song from there... anyway to do that for the 9800?

h, i am thinking of running a 980bt for my headunit and i want to use it to do an active set up and i was reading the manuel and i think i understand how to do it but i want to make sure. this is how i think it is: i need to have channels 1 and 2 used for the tweeter with a highpass set to whereever then use channel 3 and 4 for the midrange with a lowpass set just below the highpass. and i want to use 2 sets of speakers so i can just run an rca from the amp to the other amp. and sorry but this is my first time doing active and i want to make sure. also on the amp. Sax100.2 would i set x over on it to full? or is there a way to bypass it.

I have a pioneer avh 165dvd head unit which shows amp error. I'm not using speaker connection from head unit.

Anyone have any experience with this head unit? Looks nice and the features seem pretty good for a double din. Can be had for under 350 new and about 250 used. So has anyone tried this one out, or has anyone had problems with it? Would like to step up to a dvd head unit and this seems like a decent deal. Don't really want to spend too much (around 300 max) so that I can save up for some xcons. Also I could give a crap about ipods. I use either my zune or the pioneer cd-ub100 with a portable hard drive for music (which this deck has the plug in for it)

I am looking to buy this head unit due to it's low price versus features...The only problem is that it only has two pre-outs rather than three. In the near future, I would like to add an amp and better door speakers and another amp and a set of 10's or 12's. Does having only two pre-outs make this a deal breaker for some of you who know more than I?

So currently I have a Pioneer 7800MP and like the availability to tweek my crossover settings. My new interest is to have a HU capable of playing DVD's but still able to have a nice crossover. My budget is only as high as $600, maybe more if it does everything I want. Similar crossover capabilities to my current deck is what I really want. I don't think I will be going active anytime in the future so that isn't an issue. The deck in the topic is what I'm currently looking at and was curious if anyone has had any experience with it. Thanks in advance!
