Sup guys, I am looking for a 2 ohm stable mono amp. I am looking for either a PG Tantrum 1200.1 or PG RSD 1200.1 but they are either hard to find, or too expensive. You guys have any specific brand/models in mind? My budget is $350 new or used.

now i have been running mono amps for a while, and some have 1 speaker output and some have 2.... why??? like my T10001BD had 2, but my swiss audio SDX2000D had one... i dont understand ????

Hi guys, I need some feedback on linedrivers for spl. Some say that linedrivers kill subs and some thinks it makes you louder do to up to 13v outs?

With a pretty significant build on the horizon now steering towards higher end equipment, i still am not ready to part with my factory head unit unless it becomes an absolute must. I prefer the OE look and like the fact that my navi and bluetooth are integrated in the setup now, although i know that with a little tweaking i could likely make them work with something different, if needs be. My friend keeps on telling me his ma audio 802sx pushes out all this true power at less than 14 volts. I told him his amp was rated at 17 volts and he doesn't believe me. How does the sundown saz-3000d stack up to the ma wattage wise at 14 volts. He says his amps are the better deal because they are a little more than half of the price of the sundown. I told him you get what you pay for and sundown was a better quality amp. I just need some opinions and facts to back up my logic. Any help would be grateful.

now i know how to mod the MTX 81000D, but i was wondering if anyone knew, to mod the 1000D to run @ 1 ohm, is it the same as to mod the 81000D?

I was wondering if I should get an outside crossover and eq or combination of them for my truck, I am using the active crossover on my H/U clarion dxz-785usb, it has Digital time alignment on it and 18 db slope 3 way crossover in the deck. I am running my front channel to my tweets @ 3500 hz then running my dual 5.25 in the door of the rear channel ran @ 90hz and up then sub channel @ 90hz and below Would I improve my SQ buy adding and eq/crossover to the mix or is the head unit alone good enough. It sounds good now, just wish I had a little more control over the freq.

I'm thinking of getting this to push rl-i 8"s in the wifes car. I had a directed 1500D, but it's on it's way out. It states that it'll do 1500@1ohm, but how true to rated power does this amp do? I'm currently helping a friend purchase the rest of his setup for his Durango. He bought my 12" Cerwin-Vega! Vmax D2 Driver. It is in a 2.5cu ft. box (ported). Memphis Ampl That is the amp he is going to buy. 500RMS at 1 ohm. Class D Question is: Run 4 gauge or 2 gauge? And he has a stock deck, so I will need a LOC, where is a good place to purchase them, and i would need a write up on how to wire one in, along with a source for the remote. Final: Woofersetc is a good site to order from right? I've known quite a few people that have ordered from there without problems

has anyone had a remote that went on and off, i checked the voltage from the wire that comes directly out of the deck and it goes on and off intermittently. the deck is very old and seen a lot of abuse, my question is can i splice my remote wire with another to achieve the same effect or am i stuck buying a new headunit, i guess i could run a wire from some 12v source and throw a switch in between but that's a hassle.

I have looked every where and have only found very few discussions and i know it puts out decent power for what it is. My question is this can it run at 1 ohm all day long beating? im doing a groundpounder in a integra hatch with 2 18" level 5 DC's and i have 2 of these. I am over seas on a deployment for the army at the moment so i cant wire them up or anything so i need to know if they can run at 1 ohm or not befor i order the 18s any advice would be greatly appricated!

Having a small issue with the 9884. The H/U automatically decreases the treble (noticeably) above 25 on the volume setting. Same problem when using the tuner/xm unit to which I have the gain at maximum on the xm or else it's too low. How can I turn this automatic function off? My old Cda-9827 used to crank the volume way higher with NO problem. Now I can only reach 90% of its limits before it starts changing the balance and sounds like chit. Pisssing me off

I have a 2006 Corolla Type S. My alternator is 70 amps. I have a Batcap 800 as kinda like a 2nd battery for my JBL GTO 1201.1 II amp that puts out 1100 watts at 2 ohms. My system dims a lil bit but not too badly at night. I had a pair of Kicker CVX 12s powered off this amp and one blew and I sold the other one. I also had a pair of Orion HP12s and one blew and I still have the other one. The reason the HP blew though was I was playing Trap or Die by Young Jeezy with my iPods Bass Booste on to make the song hit harder like an idiot lol (I know not to do that ever again). I was reading about the PG tantrum 1200.1. I have a 13w7 in a prowedge box. Im gonna wire it in series to push a 3ohm load, would this amp be efficient for that setup? The amp I believe is 2 ohm stable, i hear its much easier to use a 2ohm stable amp rather than finding a .5ohm stable amp.

Hey guys! I have a 2000 Avalon XLS that has the stock JBL system with it. (6 disc in-dash CD Changer, factory amp, 7 speaker system with IB in rear deck for 8" Subwoofer) I thought I could handle it for awhile but i'm contemplating replacing it with an aftermarket player. I've never worked on a system with this factory amp in it. Is this that big of a concern? Or what are the workarounds for this? If its to complicated, I'd just consider running a speaker leve to RCA converter and running a sub that way and sacrificing not upgrading the highs at all. Hello, I currently have an odyssey pc 1200 battery to put under the hood of my car and was going to get 2 odyssey pc 2150's to put in the back for the two sundown 1500's. Will my factory alt (130 amps) be ok to power the batteries? Do I need to get an HO alt to go along with the batteries? Thanks for the help...

OK!!! I'm doing a electrical upgrade, I have a HO alternator and Hyperflex 0 ga. wire. can't find a crimping tool big enough to crimp the the wire. What can i use to crimp the terminal to the wire??????

So I am off on my way to school when all of a sudden my car decides to play games with me...Ok so I let it go but then it kept doing it and over and over till it got a little serious. Ok I bought a 2nd battery for my car and wanted to know if it would be ok if i ran 0 guage from front bat positive to rear bat positive. and just ground the second battery in the trunk. I'm also doing the big three.
