How big of an alt would i need for 2 saz-1500 on 2 yellow tops.

I currently use a Lanzar Mxa252 2channel amp to run the dual 4ohm 15"l7 in a 1.5 cu ft. sealed enclosure. Looking for a amp to run the L7 1000rms@2ohm under $300 shipped, Soundstream Picasso PCX1500D for $287 on ebay or HIFONICS BRUTUS BXi1610D for $232 on ebay both are 1100@2ohm. Any other options would help.

hey guys... i was just looking around for a HU for next build. and came across the Alpine CDA-117. i see that it has 4v preamp voltage. (F, R, and sub) i like the display... anyone personally use this? any opinions on this? and whats a decent price for this HU new? used? 99 accord coupe 3.0L...pretty sure the alt puts out around only 100amp...i need to figure out if i will be able to power around 1300RMS for my fi BL..what all should i get? I got the amp, used to have 4 gauge thinking about running 0 gauge with the new set up..i need suggestions i really have no idea about this kind of stuff, extra batteries new alt??anything guys need help.. thanks!

Anyone have any opinion on this deck? I'm just about to buy it.. I used to have a DEHP-6000 and loved it.. I wouldn't buy any other decks except pioneer, they are just nice peices of equipment IMO. I have a computer in my car for stereo mostly, but I've decided to get the head unit again beacuse I want a volume KNOB as well as eq options, the option to use a CD, and my FM radio back. I could have all of this with the computer, but a deck looks cleaner. I'm still going to keep the computer though, and use the head unit's AUX to plug it in. I wouldn't take it out for anything. I have over 3000 songs and it's great to no flip through a book of CD's everytime I get in the car…

I recently upgraded amps from a cheap boss audio and got a sound stream 6000ld, its a 3000 rms amp and i had a 800 rms amp previously but the sound stream sounds weaker than the old cheap amp, can someone tell me why that might be?

I have this head unit and all my basic setting are here but I see in videos of the radio the settings for aux and stuff. My radio won’t let me connect bluetooth I can only listen to fm and cd’s Someone please help these are the only setting selection it’s allowing me

Hey new here. So i own a skar 1500.1d. Have it hooked up to a sundown sa10, and works great. One "issue" ive ran into is when i turn the bass knob halfway up it gets loud (obviously). But anywhere past that it doesnt seem to get any louder or gain any volume. Im confused as to why it does that. I have tuned everything with the SMD-DD1 properly so im confused atm. I had a thought that it might be because i tuned it at 0db but im playing -7.5db music. But technically speaking there shouldn't be a "cutoff" point in volume. Any feedback would be helpful.

how big of an alternator's ? how many batteries , etc etc , would i need to run 2 Saz-3500d's 'safely' on my truck? they would be @ 1 ohm , just for daily..

ive never even helped installing a security system before...led alone one this complicated. I have a pheonix digital (i know) PD-175. The only major problems i could find with this was the rem starter. and i have a manual so i dont give a rats ass about that chit. Now i have manual locks. so it obviously isnt going to be controlling my locks. however its talking about the door pin trigger? I'm getting ready to order 3 DEKA Intmidator cells from REMY through the ROE.com group buy... My question is....they have 100 Amps/Hour rating.....so 100x3 is 300 Amps/Hour on tap... Would that be enough to feed the 3000D's properly along with them being from what I read up on them(underrated) at 1000CCA's... and my Yellow-Top up front...all 0 gauge wiring, 2 runs of ground and power front to back....160Amp load boss alternator... Should this be enough to feed the amplifiers properly? I'm going with a wall and 2 15" subwoofers...undecided on the woofer as of now and I want to have enough voltage on tap...

I was about to place an order for my big 3 wiring and the ought gauge wiring for my my 1200D. Really dont want to order a surplus here. Trying to keep the price low as possible. The amp combo kit that im getting comes with 17 feet of ought gauge. I am sure that it wont take 17 feet to reach the amp so I may have some left over cable. Not sure how many feet it usually takes to do a big 3 in a engine. Any thoughts would be nice. I am considering buying 10 extra feet. If you think I can do it with less that would be great. also thinking of getting x2 of these battery terminals LINK to terminals. I am assuming the big 3 will take 1 cable for the alternator, the amp will take …

Need some help with my alt. I have an ohio gen 300+ amp alt and it was bought for my old caravan and had a plug harness so it was able to plug into the vehicle plug . . Now I got a 93 cherokee and the alt will fit but on the jeeps stock alt instead of a plug there is 2 wires next to each other bolted to the alt rather than a 2 pin plug. . then a ground and power for the alt. . I know the 2 wires on the harness on my high output should connect to the 2 wires that are on the jeep that bolt to the stock alt but how do I find out which one connects to which?. . Let me know if that doesn't make any since and ill try to explain it better lol

Well, I have to ask for help this time. I have a high pitched whine coming through my speakers, even without the car running, so it's not engine noise, but this one is strange. While troubleshooting, I grounded both the radio chassis, RCA shields (Pioneer FTL), regular ground, redone every ground in the car, ran new RCA's, etc etc. So I gave up last night, and decided to sleep on it. This morning, went back out to combat the problem, just turned the key to ACC, fired it up, and it was gone. Went to start the car, and it came back. So I did a little more troubleshooting, and went back in and figured out that with the key in ACC, there is no noise, but as soon as I tur…

i have a lanzar opti 2000d and i think its one of the best bang for your buck! i have used it in all ways 4 ohm 2 ohm i have had it down to .65 ohms for two years never!!! shut down even in the summer with massive audio subwoofers also very good subwoofers has anyone used lanzar opti amps

So, I just picked up an 07 Mazda 3, and if you have seen these cars... they have a b*tch of a dash. (For aftermarket head units). I have already picked out a few dash kits and such. Plus, the mazda has steering wheel controls just for the radio so it would be cool if I could keep those if there is a head unit that I could hook up to those. And if not... then that is a bummer. So basically I'm looking for a decent head unit that can possibly hook up to the steering wheel. I would like the head unit to not look "out of place" as well. Basically not look like crap. Now, I definitely know the PowerMaster is a better battery, but the price of the Dekas are telling me to go w/ them. I could get two new Dekas for the cost of one new PowerMaster. Common sense is telling me to go w/ the Dekas but which do you guys suggest to do?
