I have a 06 xxx re audio 12 hooked up to a visonik v900hc...suppose to do 3200 @ 1 ohm bridged...hooked up to a kenwood kvt-911 dvd.... The only sound i can get out of my sub is when i hook the rcas up to the brain under the front pre-out...Does nothing when i hook it to the rear,and surges when i hook it up to the non fade output....But when i hook it up to the sub outputs to the back of the monitor it slams the sub and sounds right but you cannot control the sound....the volume only controls the trebble....the only wway to turn the bass from hitting is to unplug the rcas....and when its hooked up to the front preout it sounds decent but only when u turn the volume up al…

ive never even helped installing a security system before...led alone one this complicated. I have a pheonix digital (i know) PD-175. The only major problems i could find with this was the rem starter. and i have a manual so i dont give a rats ass about that chit. Now i have manual locks. so it obviously isnt going to be controlling my locks. however its talking about the door pin trigger? Driving a 03' bmw 325i sedan, have a JVC KD-AVx77 and it doesn't fit. The dash kit I purchased doesn't even fit it. I also think that the panel that goes over the dash kit doesnt even fit the unit either. Anyone know what I can do? Am I going to have to customize it?

Alright so my Fi 12 D2 q should be arriving tomorrow. I arleady have my Sundown Saz 1000D. I've been reading as much as I can on here so I just want to make sure I have everything straight. Wiring my sub to 1 ohm I need to take the positive's and run a wire from one to the other andsame for the negatives. Then take a wire from one of the pos and neg's and run them to the amp. I noticed the amp has 2 sets of speakers inputs A & B. I would hook my sub up to one set correct A or b? I'l try to keep this short. Last week my p99rs remote stopped working and I thought "the batttery went quick". I bought a replacement battery, should have check the original first, but it still doesn't work. I popped it apart expecting to find nothing wrong, but instead I find a coil of wire wrapped around a spool and the spool is broken form the base with a broken wire as well. I went to the local radioshack, looking for help. The guy tthere said it looks like a choke, but wasn't sure. In a responce from pioneer the remote is $84.95 + tax + shipping. Greetings out there. I have read many write ups and seen many videos about using test tones to set your amp gains with an o-scope. My question is when setting bass amp gains does it matter if you use a 40Hz tone over a 50Hz tone? Each topic on this has used a different tone but never told why. Did a small build in my daily driver and have no dimming of tail/dash lights at normal listening levels. I occasionally listen to it moderately loud when Im in the mood and when the double bass drums hit heavy or the bass guitar digs deep and loud I notice a faint amount of dimming. I know that amps should be grounded around 18" or less but i've seen builds where the grounds are four plus feet, anyone care to shed light on this, is it ok if excellent wire is used? BTW the build was from a person whos name that can't be mentioned.

Hello SSA members. I just recently installed my system into my new car. Running a 15" FIQ off a zx1500.1 @ 4ohms. I ran this same setup for about a year now, only difference is I upgraded my wiring, 4 gauge to 0 gauge. My amp gets really hot, FAST. Bass boost and all sub levels set to 0, and I don't run my gains high at all, 1/2 way at the absolute most. My amp has gotten hot before, but not the hot and especially not this fast. Does anyone have a clue to what the problem may be? If there's any other info that you may need, feel free to ask. Thanks.

Hey guys, I finally found 2 amps that I'm trying to choose between for my 4 SA-10s. I am either going to purchase a used saz 2000 or the saz 3000. I was wondering what kind of electrical is needed to run power one of these 2 beasts. I currently have a DC HO Alt that Is 110/170 idle/max and a kinetik 1400 under the hood with a kinetik 600 in the rear. ( I will also have 0 awg ran from front to back and 0 awg big 3 ). I'm not sure what is needed to keep voltage up with the 2k or 3k? Should this be enough? I'm not sure what most people have these on, I saw a few people say they had stock 90 amp Alts with just 2 large batts so I wasnt sure! Thanks guys!

i had some issues at sears but now finially got my order placed. i got 2 group 49 AGM batteries for my truck. i currently have 2 group 31 lead acid batteries that still work (sort of) but are rather lack luster for starting the truck. so my thought was i save 15.00 on the order per battery to trade my 120.00 group 31's in (they are 1 year old) OR i could keep these 2 as a secondary isolated battery bank that i could abuse as i wanted with out much worry. do we think this is a decent idea or should i just core charge them? they are 1150CCA 195RC batteries. the truck has its stereo and a 16K Lbs recover winch on the front. my thought was that while the truck is running…

Having a sparatic issues with my remote voltage. Out of nowhere, I am having an issue with the amps/xm unit shutting off randomly. Turn the H/U off and it works again. Took out the DMM and found that Idle voltage is 12.4 and dips around 11.4 when the music is playing. Drove around for a few min and it did its thing again at which the voltage was around 5.5 and not sufficient to turn my amps on. I am running two amps, xm unit and SMALL low rpm fan on the remote circuit and have not had a problem for quite awhile...( I don't believe it is related to having too much stuff on the 12V remote) However....My H/U is over 3-4 years old Alpine 9827 Thinking it has gone through its …
