Ok guys i got my saz 3000 order in just waitin on new ones to come in and i've ordered a 18 btl what i'm wondering is will the 220amp "Dominator" Series Iraggi Alternator be enough with a extra batt and if i deceide to go with another saz 3000 would it still be ok thanks for any help ahead of time.

ok...i have a sony cd player that im wanting to put in my truck.....i know what all the wires for the cd player are except 2......the blue and the blue/white.....i know one of them will be the remote......and im assuming the other will be the illumination...and the next thing i need is the factory color codes for the truck....its a 96 isuzu hombre.........and dont tell me installdr.com they dont have info on my isuzu

ive never even helped installing a security system before...led alone one this complicated. I have a pheonix digital (i know) PD-175. The only major problems i could find with this was the rem starter. and i have a manual so i dont give a rats ass about that chit. Now i have manual locks. so it obviously isnt going to be controlling my locks. however its talking about the door pin trigger? Ok, I hear a lot of people saying that it is a good thing to run HO alts. and deep cycles together. I have also heard that it is a big no-no because a HO alt. will charge it quickly and they are supposed to be charged slowly...hence shortening the life of your deep cycle. Anyone have some input??

I always have in the past but I'm starting to upgrade to more and more powerful systems. The price difference between a run of 1/0 from ebay, to knu conceptz, to using welding wire is a huge. Anyone know if the ebay stuff has the same copper content and adequate insulation?

ive narrowed it down to these few: optima yellow top(are there different models? g31 or something) svr 80-12 oddssey 1700 oddssey 2150 Deka intimidator oddssey = stinger, right? dont know how many of each i will run, i know tho if i run like the 1700, i would have to get more than if i run the 2150, since the 2150 is bigger right? as of now i have the 2 15" mts and 2 orion d5000's. im looking for a third of each, and POSSIBLY a 4th. i'd love to have 4 15" mts and 4 d5000's!!!!!

I'd really like to learn (not ask here whenever i have a question) how the amp draws current, and where it draws from (how the alternator comes in to play and such). A buddy was asking me if he should get 2 bls, and i told him his electrical couldn't handle it if he were to power them as much as he wanted to. I'm pretty confident what i told him was right, but i'd really like to know more, it just bugs me to tell him that and not know why myself lol. Anyone know of a good link or two so i can learn about this?

i understand fans are useful in keeping your amps cool ... i see a lot of people just using them for their sub amps ... i also felt my amps and my sub amp gets a lot hotter than my 4 channel ... do people mainly put fans just on their sub amps or all of their amps?

Having a sparatic issues with my remote voltage. Out of nowhere, I am having an issue with the amps/xm unit shutting off randomly. Turn the H/U off and it works again. Took out the DMM and found that Idle voltage is 12.4 and dips around 11.4 when the music is playing. Drove around for a few min and it did its thing again at which the voltage was around 5.5 and not sufficient to turn my amps on. I am running two amps, xm unit and SMALL low rpm fan on the remote circuit and have not had a problem for quite awhile...( I don't believe it is related to having too much stuff on the 12V remote) However....My H/U is over 3-4 years old Alpine 9827 Thinking it has gone through its …

I have one 15" fi bl on a t1000bd. actual rms is 1481. I have major dimming in my denali. I am going to put another cell in back. Where can I buy an hc1200?? I live in milwaukee wisconsin. Does anyone sell them or do I have to get it online. Otherwise what is another good battery I can buy from somewhere to put in back??? Thanks

i went ahead and ordered 2 SAZ-1500D's. I had a stock battery but i purchased a Duralast Gold Yellow Top before i started on my system. I got a 200 amp alt coming and i purchased a Kinetik HC1800 to go in the trunk. IS this enough? i wanted to do the big 3 upgrade but i wouldnt know where to start much less what to do. is adding the extra bat and changing the alt enough?

here's a few pics of a power 1000 im trying out... looks awesome! Im using it to power the midranges and midbasses at the moment and using one of the ppi a600s for the center channel. I'm truly amazed. idk what it is but man the center channel just makes it sound better... normally im pretty good at putting my finger on why it sounds better worse ect but i honestly cant hear it playing when i have it on it sounds like perfect stereo. but i flip the switch to turn it off and you can tell right away its just not the same. crazy... anyone (m5) have an explanation or advice... i have alot of tuning to do i should get some videos of the spectrum analyzer up soon. sadly this …

I accidentally cracked the cone of my Fi Q12 not paying attention to having cargo secured properly. Anyhow, It's been replaced but once I put it back together, the woofer practically has zero output and what's there sounds really distorted. I double checked my ground and it reads .2 ohms. Power to the amp is good (reads 12.65V on battery). Reading across the woofer coils is good (1.2ohms). I swapped out a new RCA thinking maybe that's it and still the same thing. Messing around with the head unit and amp settings make no difference. I even replaced the woofer completely and it also does the same thing. I have a JVC KD-Dv500 head unit. It plays everything, including dvd's. It is dolby 5.1 ready, w/ the digital toslink output. I am looking at a PhoenixGold 5.1 amp for everything except my sub, that has the toslink input. SO, my question is, it I hook up the head unit to the amp with the digital cable, would I still need to use RCA's, or does the digital cable take the place of them? MattB

ok ive been looking throught the "big 3" posts and i understand everything except for the block to chassi ground i cant seem to find the stock one on my truck. if i cant get to it what would be the easiest way to do this also would it hurt anything if i ran 2 1/0 from alt + to batt+?
