I've had my koda 8's and ID cx62's sitting around for god knows how long. There is someone over at CA.com selling this amp http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=171515 for 185 shipped. That's a really really good price for the power it puts out. Is there something wrong with MB quart? Why isn't anyone really showing interest? I just want to know b/c I'm about to pm him about picking it up but need to know what I'm about to purchase. I just want to put 150 to the kodas and maybe 100 to the ID's. Tell me what you think

Is the JL Audio A4300 amp a good match with 4 Infinity Reference 6822cf speakers? I got the speakers for free and just wanted a good cheap amp to power them to their full potential. I have done some searching around and have not found out what I'm looking for, I understand the calculation for volts on a DMM to set the gains properly. In my particular case, I have (2) Fi SSD's (800rms/each) and a Sundown SAE-1200vD2 (1200rms). Now what I have been seeing is everyone says to take the lesser of the two then do your calculations for proper volts on the DMM. So, would I use 1200 from the amp or 800 from (1) sub or 1600 for both subs?? Im guessing since my subs can handle 1600 combined, I would then use the 1200 from the amp, which would be 34.64v (dual 1 ohm subs and wired that way). Please clarify for me. Next question, I have several wiring diagrams for…

I am wanting to put an aftermarket DVD player in my 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 ext cab. I have factory onstar and xm and want to keep both. I know that I have to get an adapter like this http://www.logjamelectronics.com/pacos2.html in order for it to work. What can I get to in order to retain the factory XM radio? I also have settering wheel controls. I know for the steering wheel controls I have to get a PAC unit in order for them to work.

Right now my setup is(see sig) and I have BAD voltage problems. I believe my problem is that I have a 2ga wire from the front battery to the back(came with the car,to lazy to change it) where I branched 3 runs of 4ga wire off it to my 3 amps. Now I was wondering if I ran 1 or 2 runs of 1/0ga from the front to the back would that cure my problem?

At work we have numerous rtas used to test the frequency responses of circuits. This is tested through an osciloscope input. My question is if I were to find a mic that had an osciloscope conenctor at the end of it would the rta work for what I want it to do?

I'm wondering the best thing I can do to help my situation. It's been ridiculously hot here in San Antonio this summer and my SAE-1200D just isn't taking the heat well at all. My Cadence TXA1000D never had a problem but I guess with the extra power this SAE has the heat is causing trouble. The amp gets VERY hot to the touch and after a while goes into protect. At first I thought I had a problem with the subs cause they would make a strange noise before shutting off but it cuts out even when my HU is paused so I don't think I have a subwoofer problem. Maybe mount something like 2 120mm fans on the bottom of the amp? How would I hook those up? Just wire them to the power/gr…

My birthday is coming up and id really like to increase my power to my sub as much as possible with $200. I currently have a power bass 400 rms at 4 ohms. My sub is single 4 ohm. Rated for 500rms. But id like to give it quite a bit more. Whats the biggest amp i can get for 200? I have a fi x12. In a ported box tuned to 33 ish maybe a tad higher. But i dnt play it at high volumes for more than maybe 10-15 mins. So im not too worried about anything blowing. I was thinking about geting a recone and try to recone it to dual 2 ohm.. And run my amp at 1 ohm... But thats kinda reckless because its only stable at 4 ohms. But if i set everything at 1 ohm and tune the amp with a dm…

So I mistakenly order a 4 Gauge and an 8 Gauge kit by accident of CCA from Knu. I was going to do a run of 4 gauge to the sub amp and 8 to the amp for the fronts. The sub amp is a Hifonics BRX2400.1D. Would the 4 Gauge be enough for just this amp?
