I finally found it.. I just got a mint Sony Mobile ES Amp. I forgot how nice they were. will do my front stage justice def not xplode crap. 50x4. 1 ohm stable stereo. xm-5046. I'm pretty happy..

I have an apline CDA-9835 HU with the ipod interface. Now I want to get SIRIUS but I am not sure what I am supposed to buy. so which one is it KCA-SC100 or the siralp1? Thanks!

Just out of curiosity has anyone ever used a harrison labs amplifier and are they capable of doing music? They actually look pretty cool and are tiny for the power they claim. After seeing the drag queen most everybody says all the hlab amps are spl burps only. Just curious not really interested in buying one.

I'm looking for a new Alpine and I'm considering the CDA-9885 for $280 or the CDA-9887 for $330. $50 more get's me the Imprint Sound and 24bit Dac. What's everyone's opinion on the Imprint technology? And what improves when going from a 1bit DAC to a 24bit DAC?

I ordered an Fi Q15 with BP Power option. Would a Sundown Audio SAE-1000D be a good match for this sub?

Well, im looking into this amp casue its pretty cheap where i found it. I heard good and bad about it. I hear it will do 1/2ohm daily and over 3000watts? Are their amps any good? The model im looking at is the Concept CC-D2400, its an older model I think. Thaks for the help...

hi, i am looking for a budget 4 channel amp that can do atleast 200rms at @ 2 ohm for a freind and he doesn't want to spend more then 350 on the amp. and i was looking at a Soundstream TRA960.4 for him and i am wondering if anybody has any experiace with them. and another option is a cadence TXA-6004 forgot to mention it will be running a active gront stage with it and the processor is alpine 9887

I always have in the past but I'm starting to upgrade to more and more powerful systems. The price difference between a run of 1/0 from ebay, to knu conceptz, to using welding wire is a huge. Anyone know if the ebay stuff has the same copper content and adequate insulation?

I drive a work van with a Sony CDX-Mp70 hu. There are no rear speakers installed in the van so i was wondering if i could bridge the rear channels with the front to get some more power up there... Any ideas?

Anyone have any personal expierence with the soundstream pca2000d. they are rated 2000 watts rms. Anyone know if its underrated or overrated? I'm getting high pitch hum (upper midrange freq) and a warble sound coming from the sub when everything is on. 1. Amp is a Zed Mini 2. front stage amp is a sundown 100.4 3. Sven LOC for the stock H/U The high pitch hiss comes on when the amps turn on. I don't get any distortion from the speaker run by the sundown. When I turn the music up, the sub still has the high pitch noise and a warble sound that kinda goes with the music. I've check the RCA and have used two different sets to make sure. I even connected another sub to the system and get the same horrible distortion. Is this an amp problem or is there something wrong with the electrical system trying to run this amp …

whats a good amp for a fi ssd with flatwind coil and bp option added? thats not a high price tag preferably under $300

Hey guys im about to purchace a triple alt set up from iraggi alts for my silverado. My question is should i get 2 350 amp alts and a 240 amp alt to help with at idle amperage or should i just get 3 300 amp alts. Ill be running 12k rms for a daily setup, thanks.

This is the inside of my JBL px300.4. I have narrowed down the noise in my system (HISS) to the amplifier itself by 1) Using muting plugs 2) Removeing the amp from the vehicle and using a "test bench" if you will and a test speaker to find the same noise. It's a low hiss with the vehicle OFF and ear right up close to speakers. By "test bench" I mean I connected the amp right by my battery with the ground going straight to the battery and used a test speaker and adjusted every setting on the amp with no change - gains at zero - no rca's connected. I'm replacing a friends factory front door speakers and running all after market stuff minus the H/U. Is it possible for me to use a few feet of the factory speaker wire and them solder some 14ga wire to run to the aftermarket amps. I know this sounds really crappy, but this SUV (Ford Edge) is a real sh&t when it comes to going from the door into the cab.

Alrighty soo I'm looking to finaly get my own amp for my beastly little sub, the oem tc10 from tc sounds. Its a dual 4ohm sub. RMS power is 800 watts but is said to be able to take alot more power than that with a smile. Right now shes being powered by a RF amp that I'm borrowing from my buddy. I guess its rated at like 750watts. It works, but with the power turned all the way up, my sub is beggin for more. I'm not looking to break my bank, but I'm definately not looking for something walmart would cary either. Need a little help. Finally got everything wired up and in the car. Ran all my wiring, hooked up my batcaps, grounded everything and I have power to everything. Only problem is that I can't get any sound out of my Sub or Component speakers that are wired up to the amps. Nothing is in protect mode or anything. Are my RCA's possibly bad, or is the headunit just not sending out a signal? I got about 5 seconds of sound out of the sub and components when I first turned it on, now nothing works. No fuses are blown or anything. I need help please!! Any replies are appreciated. Jeff
