sooo yeah, basically i'm just looking for some tips to stop my head unit from skipping due to vibration. as it stands now my deck (Pioneer DEH-3800MP), most of the time gives me no problems when the volume is at 35/64, but when i go higher to 40, and sometimes even 38, the bass makes it vibrate and skip. i'm just wondering if there are any tips or better ways to secure my deck to limit this problem. i'm planning soon to double my subwoofer power (getting 2 IA LI's), so i'm hoping to get this solved before that. i've read somewhere that skipping can be a voltage issue and one way to solve it is to go around the wiring harness and wire the deck directly to the battery, …

So something came up and I have to wait a week or so to put in my dc power 270xp... I'm going to be running a saz-3500d @ 1.33ohms and sax-125.2. I also have 3 optima yellowtops (i'll get some xs or kinetiks later).. Could I get everything setup and run it off my stock alt? I think it's either 105 or 130amps..I obviously wouldn't abuse it and monitor my voltage..It would only be for about 3 or 4 days.. Thanks

Anyone have experience with the massive audio P30001? http://massivemulti-media.com/store/index....p;products_id=4 The prices are very low right now on e-bay and it looks good. If it's as good as it looks does anyone know if it can handle say a 1.4 ohm load with good power supply or is it a rigid 2 ohms? I was thinking of running one of these to A btl 15". what do you guys think? Hope this makes sense I am undercaffenated.

AVH-P5200BT I can buy one today brand new for 450.00 I like it because of the 4v Pre Out, the 8 band EQ and watching music videos would be cool. I think it'd be a nice upgrade from my Alpine IDA-x305s that got stolen. Thoughts?

Okay I just put it in my new 5000 and I have two amps... Sundown SAE-1000D and SAX-100.4. Well I have two sets of RCA cables going to the 100.4, one set going from the front preouts on the 5000 to channels 1 and 2, and the other set is going from the rear preouts on the 5000 to channels 3 and 4. For some reason I'm not getting any music out of the rears. I can hear a very faint "tv snow-screen" type of sound coming out when I have my ear up to one of the speakers, but that's it. Anyone know what's going on?

  16. I need help choosing an amplifier for a Kicker CVT 10 that I’m going to purchase soon. But if one 10 isn’t good enough for me I was planning on getting a second one. So what I was wondering is if there is a sub that I can start out with and give it the power the one sub requires and also if I were to wire up a second CVT 10 to the amp, also have those two subs well powered. I’d like to get the most out of my sub(s). So if someone could please advise me on this! I have had a suggestion of getting a Kicker CX600.1. (new model). Which is 4 ohms: 300 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 600 watts x 1 chan. TheKicker CVT 10 is RMS: 400 Peak: 800 The reason why I’m getting such a smal…

I have an arc audio 1200.1 amp I have not used it yet but wanted to see if anyone on this thread had any opinions on it. I also have bc2000D amplifier. I realize the wattage difference. I have been told that the arc will be very effecient. Should I expect the same out of the crescendo? Just exploring options. My build if for my daily driver.

Hi , guys I need help. O.K. I have comps up front rated at 150 rms and rear coax spks. rated at 100 , and I know i don't have to use rears, but i have rear seat passengers a ll the time [ three kids] and they love listening to music . Anyhow , how do I feed the comps enough power without overpowering the rear spks. Recommendations please! I was about to buy a Sundown 100.4 because I assumed they were all 150 rms, now i'm afraid the rears won't take the power if the amp is underrated. Sorry the spks are CDT and I think they're entry line , 626/622.

im going with a 200 amp alternator from excessive amperage in the ca group buy. its going in an 87 trans am daily driver with a kenwood 35x4 and an eD nine.1, going to do the big 3, have an optima yellow top 31, and run 0/1 gauge wire back to a distributor and 4 gauge to the amps. for daily driving, im wanting a small case not a large one right? large is more for spl vehicles that sit and idle as they burp correct? my car idles around 750-800 right now because i have a minor vacuum leak but once i track it down and fix it should be more like 600-650 idle.

I'm replacing a friends factory front door speakers and running all after market stuff minus the H/U. Is it possible for me to use a few feet of the factory speaker wire and them solder some 14ga wire to run to the aftermarket amps. I know this sounds really crappy, but this SUV (Ford Edge) is a real sh&t when it comes to going from the door into the cab.

i know this sounds like a newbie question but i wanted to get the right answer. okay, so i have a rf t1000-1bd. it says that the amp is wired in parallel inside the amp. does this mean i can put a wire from each terminal on my woofer to each one of the 4 outputs and it will automatically take my dual 2 down to a 1 ohm load internally?. basically i wanna bump up the wire size going to my woofer because im used to the jumper and twist technique, but if i can get a fatter 10 gauge wire i'd like to do that. so basically instead of me doing the parallel wiring and only 2 wires coming from my sub, i'll have 2 wires from each voice coil, 4 wires going to my amp and the amp will …
