I have an aq2200d that will be powering a ss rl-p 18 at 4 ohms. When i go to wire it up, do i use the outside pos and neg ports on the amp? Also, i have a kicker 200.4 for one set of components. I want to bridge the amp to make 100.2 at 4 ohms, but im confused when it comes to wiring it. there are two rows of inputs for speakers. one row says amp 1, and the other says amp 2. would i just do one speaker on one row, then the other on the second row? sorry its confusing. ill try and find a picture. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/pictures.php?id=11366

I've got Dodge Magnum R/T with 160A stock alternator and from what I hear from other LX vehicle owners, the car's computer controls the alternator output...so upgrading my alternator isn't an option. So with my stock alternator what do you think is the most wattage I can run on my stock electrical? I know that an extra battery (or three) may be necessary along with Big three. Also, since my battery is in the rear, not under the hood, how does that effect things?

I plan on running this wire http://www.wireandsupply.com/product_p/sgx-2-fslash-0-fslash-01.htm , which size of these http://shop.genuinedealz.com/Marine%20Electrical%20Supply/Tinned%20Copper%20Cable%20Lugs/00%20AWG%20Tinned%20Lug/?sck=12205831 connectors should I buy to run with the wire? Also will a 0 gauge distribution block work with that 2/0 gauge wire, I have not been able to find a bigger block? I will be running 250amp fuses throughout the setup. One from alt to battery, one 12" from battery to distribution block? I only want the cap to be used on the sub amp and both outputs on the block are 250amp fused, do I need to run anymore fuses in the setup?

whats the best way to move my starter battery from under my hood to my cargo area? im gonna have airbags and theres not gonna be much room at ALL under there, so im gonna move my battery to the cargo, and just have all my batteries back there. should i just remove the little ring thing on the factory pos. wire and extend it to the rear of my car, and then just ground the battery somewhere in the back? or should i remove both pos and neg factory wires, and run a new pos wire to the rear(still grounding the battery somewhere in the back) if so, what ga. wire should i use? im kinda scared to do this cuase there is other things coming out of the pos factory wire under the hoo…

I have an 04 escalade and am wondering if I get a new Deck from say pioneer a dvd player double din style, can I still have my steering wheel controls? There is a lot more than just audio on my steering wheel pertaining to oil readings and gas readings and mileage and all kinds of stuff. Does anyone know what is all controlled by the current head unit and what can be lost from changing it out?

We came across a Crunch 1500 watt Power Zone amplifier, P1500.1. it will power up and play music.......... as long as there is some pressure on one of the adjustment knobs..... Take away the pressure and the music output stops. The "Low Pass" filter knob is missing , once the amp is opened up, you see that the whole little box has been removed. so first question is ; can I purchase and install this box ? like is that i DIY type project? second question ; is there any home remedies for the pressure issue? anothere DIY project. If need be, I will send it in and get it fixed, but was hoping to do it cheap, in house. thanks for the input, chop IAK

Ok, so I have a yellow top group 34 up front right now in my suv. I am upgrading my stereo system and will be running a Sundown Saz 3000d a JL audio 500/5 and a JL e4300. I will be using a mechman 275 amp alt and I need help deciding what to do for the batteries. Can I hook up the optima to a xs power d3100 and expect to see good results? or a d3400 up front to a xs power d3100 in the back. Is it alright to hook up batteries that are of different classes? I can't fit a 31 series up front but it looks like a good battery for the back. Last but not least I have seen good deals on a optima yellow top d31t. Would that be a good option to hook up to the optima I have now? Woul…

So my question is what specifications from batteries should you look at when related to car audio, right now I'm looking at a DieHard Platinum. Anyways, my dad came up to me the other day and had a car audio question! I was in complete shock and happy at the same time. It was great to hear him finally wanting something for the car my mom drives. And then it was a question about an in dash screen! Ok I know how forums go so please let me make this very clear and upfront. The two decks I'm about to have you guys compare are the ONLY OPTIONS available for debate. Please do not mention any other decks out there as in, "well this would be better." My dad…

  19. I have had this system for over a year and it has been working fine until I got a short on the remote wire coming from my amp and going into the remote IN on the lc2i. It shut my system off, so I installed a new remote wire. once I installed the new remote wire my system worked again however I woke up the next day to find my battery was dead. It turns out I accidentally had a few strands of wire coming off of the lc2i's remote IN and touching the 12v port causing my amp to stay on all night. My issue is that when I properly install the wire into the remote IN port, It no longer turns my amp on. Could the remote IN port on the lc2i be bad or am I missing something else tha…

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this. I drive a 2005 colorado with a HO 200amp alternator with a deka intimidator group 34 under the hood and 2 group 31's in the bed. The big 3 is done in 0 gauge, Two runs of 0 gauge to the rear batteries. I measured the voltage at the amp. At 1/2 tilt I was at 13.4 at idle, as soon as I turn it down it jumps back to 14.4. As soon as I crank it to full tilt it drop to 11.6 at idle. My amp is saz3000d at 1ohm. I think I covered everything. Do I have a problem somewhere or do I just need more. I didn't want to piss the neighbors off too much because so I will have to measure the voltage again at 2000 rpm to see how much differenc…
