Okay i was using power acoustik's 5500 1/D amps, just got the one i blew back from the factory (brand new). So i'm selling both and hopefully buying a sundown. i had my heart set on the SAZ-2000D but while at work i was thinking... why not get the SAZ-3000D? i will purchase 2 of either model for 4 SSA ICON 15's D1's Should i get the 3000D or the 2000D? i know the 3000D is going away. the price is only about $100 differance on db-r.

Hey guys, i was thinking about getting a Powermaster D1200 for my system... As of right now... i have a RF p5002 going to a 12" w3. When i have everything cranked up i notice my lights dimming a little bit... Yes i have factory wiring... but also i have a peice of junk battery (not sure exactly what it is but it was the cheapest thing i could find when i bought the car) although the car does have a 110amp alt. (i will be replacing the battery i have right now) My question is this... Will that help out my dimming situation with such a small amount of power being taken from the p5002. Well, a friend told me the other night he had some amps sitting around that he has never used really, so I asked him what he had and he replied with, "power acoustik stuff." Now, I was a little skeptical at first but I decided to look anyways. Well, come to find out one of the amps he had sitting around was a PA A2400DB so I jumped on that. He only wants 200 for it and it comes with original box, packaging, the works. Hooked it up to my Ti and MAN does it make a world of difference having this over my old amp. to push a mtx thunder 6000 @ at least 250rms at 4 ohms as a midbass driver, are either of these amps over rated? also anybody else know something that would fit the bill for $110 or less?

So my buddy was sellin his Lanzar MaxP1200 amp for $70 and i picked it up for the hell of it, So my question is, What wrong with Lanzars exactly? They just really cheap? It says 1800 watts @ 1ohm but i dont believe it so im gonna run it at 2 ohms (900w rated) for the time being Is it a decent amp to run my Icon off of for a couple months until i buy my Audioque?

Hey, I was just wondering if there's any rule of thumb or some sort of math to see how many batteries you need. For example: If u have a 150A alt and a 170A draw. Will you be fine with just one batt or do you need another. This is just a theoretical scenario

I have an 04 escalade and am wondering if I get a new Deck from say pioneer a dvd player double din style, can I still have my steering wheel controls? There is a lot more than just audio on my steering wheel pertaining to oil readings and gas readings and mileage and all kinds of stuff. Does anyone know what is all controlled by the current head unit and what can be lost from changing it out?

I just recieved my Fi Q 1 ohm speakers today and just freakin fried my 1 ohm stable mtx amp because the speakers are running at around .75 ohms. what amp can I use for these and where can i find it . any suggestions would be appreciated

Anyone have experience with the massive audio P30001? http://massivemulti-media.com/store/index....p;products_id=4 The prices are very low right now on e-bay and it looks good. If it's as good as it looks does anyone know if it can handle say a 1.4 ohm load with good power supply or is it a rigid 2 ohms? I was thinking of running one of these to A btl 15". what do you guys think? Hope this makes sense I am undercaffenated.

bought it off sonicelectronix.com the website not the ebay store and everything works fine, the only thing i'm having an issue with is the fact that a week ago the dvd player showed video while the car was in park and now with the parking brake applied and the emergency brake, it still says "audio only" i'm thinkin theres a loose connection somewhere, worst case scenario i hope it's not the head unit itself. any advice?

I currently use a Lanzar Mxa252 2channel amp to run the dual 4ohm 15"l7 in a 1.5 cu ft. sealed enclosure. Looking for a amp to run the L7 1000rms@2ohm under $300 shipped, Soundstream Picasso PCX1500D for $287 on ebay or HIFONICS BRUTUS BXi1610D for $232 on ebay both are 1100@2ohm. Any other options would help.

Hi. Can anyone tell me if this is a good amp or not. (SAZ 1200d.1 Mono.) I am aware of Sundowns reputation of having great Speakers/Subs but I don't know about this particular amp. I am planning on using it to power (2) DD1508 D4 subs and would like to know that it will be sufficient with over head left. I do appreciate all input and thank you.

Going through some stuff I had in the attic and I ran across a Hifonics Thor Series VII amp Hooked it up in my truck and it works great. Only rated at 250 watts but running it bridged with a kicker 10" truck box and it pounds! Anyone know much about this relic? and of course I find it a month after buying a kicker zx400.1 amp for my Trans Am...would of used it and saved some cash.

Ok so I have a kicker zx2500.1 laying around my house and since I blew my previous amp, This may besomething I can stick in my car. So my question is (after doing some digging that led to nowhere) does ANYBODY know the MAX of this amp? I have read quite a few things most of which say this # RMS Power Rating: * 4 ohms: 1250 watts x 1 chan. * 2 ohms: 2500 watts x 1 chan. # Max power output: 2500 watts x 1 chan. How can the rms and the max of the amp at 2ohms be the same?
