well my stock alt (105a) is starting to chit out on me. at red lights, the volts drop real low, and the car sometimes will shut off then back on real fast....its not the batt, i tried it with my stocker, as well as a kinetik 2400. its prally when i played my powerbass xa3000d on the stock batt, and the alt couldnt keep up recharging the batt....

When I installed my Massive P1000.1 amp, I also got a 2 gauge Amp Kit that came with a 80A fuse. I just read the Massive's owners manual, it recomends a 60A fuse. Does using a 80A over a 60A make any difference? When I had my system running, I had the amp powering a SI Mag @ 1 ohm (880W).

does any one know were i could get a good 2000 watt amp i got $700 to spend i need it for my 2 rlp 12" i wanna try to get 1000 watts to each speaker what will i need to do this

I inquired about purchasing this massive 1500watt amp from a buddy of mines for a few bucks and he said it cuts on fine it just stays in protection should I purchase it and get it repaired. He is selling the amp for 25 bucks. worth repair yay or nay?

Ok, I just got this amp from a friend, I was unaware I needed a 300 amp fuse for it, but I hooked it up anyway without one. It works fine without the fuse, but Kicker plainly states it needs the 300 amp fuse. So, I go to a local shop and buy the Kicker fuse holder and a 250 amp anl fuse, they did not have 300 amp fuses so I figured 250 was better than nothing. Also, Kicker recommends 1 gauge minimum, I have 2 gauge power and ground in the car now, I plan to upgrade ALL wire to 1 gauge, but my question is, will the 2 guage hurt the amp while I am scrounging money for wire? i need help picking out a amp a 2000 watt should lanzar be good for my 2 rlp 12" sound splinter

i'm getting a subs for it and i'm getting 2 rlp12" subs and i was looking into getting a lanzar max pro 2400 watt amp or should i look into getting a differnt one if not whats a good amp will the speakers handle a 2400 amp could they handle a 4000 what amp i dont know much about this stuff so i need help and sealed or ported box i got plenty of money

hi, i am wondering is doing the big 3 in 4 guage enough for a 2400 rms system? i know using a thicker wire is better but i would like to use stock type connects and the biggest side terninal battery wire is 4 guage that i can find unless i can find like 2 guage then i might be stuck using 4 guage.

im lookin into buyin either of these amps, i have the big3 upgraded with 1/0 gauge wire from elemental designs, and stock battery and alternator. which of these amps will be easiest on a charging system thanks

Im just looking for a little info on what you guys think the best headunit out of the above choices would be. They are all capable of running active frontstage which is what im looking for. And im pretty sure I can get them at or around the same price. Any of you guys with experience with any of the choices, please post any likes/dislikes. Thanks.

alright figured i would star a new topic ablout this. I am thinking a running a 3way active system and was wondering what are some of the best headunits to use.

So what would happen if I crossed the power and ground on the amp? Yes, I did this accidentally, for less than 5 minutes ! The amp does have a reverse polarity protect on it, but what damage, if any, have I done? Is it completely fried? I went ahead and put the wires back in correctly, and I still got no sound to my fronts. Thanks for your replies

ok, me and another person on RoE are having an argument on using a y cable on rca. he thinks that using a y cable is not going to do anything to the signal or anything and it is going to be the same as if there where no y cable. while i think and have found on other places online that say that using a y cable can weaken the signal and basic under standing of electricity does back that up. and that is while the voltage is the same when spliting but the current that is carrying the signal is cut in half. so who is correct? and i would post a link to the discussion but RoE has the forum set up so you can't.

I HAVE A CLARION 3200A#R 80X4 AMP ABOUT 40LB . TAKES 2 GROUND AND 2 POWER LEADS . IM LOOKING FOR THE SPEAKER PLUG IN AND ANY INFO ON THIS AMP CALLED CLARION AND THEY SAID AMPS TO OLD FOR THERE RECORDS SO NO HELP THERE . WHERE I FIND OUT HOW TO LOAD PICTURE WILL POST THEM . THANKS FOR ANY HELP

I have two U.S. Amps that I have had for years and I am wanting to get the specs on them. I had them installed in another vehicle that I recently sold and I am reinstalling them in another vehicle. Before I sold my other car the 150 fried which sucks, but another reason I am wanting the specs is to find out if it would be worth fixing. The first amp is a US 150 the other is a US 25.

What are the differences between the 2 if there are any?

i have a kicker zx1000.1 rated at 1258 watts total at 2ohms, and im goin to be buyin an 15" Fi BL soon with the p chamfer and the daily option on it. i listen to rap 99% of the time. so will that power be enough for a daily 15" Fi BL?? thanks

Anyone use either of these to intigrate a system to their factory HU. I have a new truck (2004 FX4) and want to keep the factory indash 6 disk cd player but want to install my Arsenal 10 CDT comp set and ppi amps. I just don't think that the factory bass treble is going to cut it for tuning though. Any thoughts (hopefully from others with a similar situation) thanx in advance

hi, i am going to be getting 2 12" SX and i am looking for an amp for them. they are only dvc2 so the ohm loads it can either be .5, 2 if i get a mono amp or 1 or 4 ohm if i get 2 mono amps. i would like to be as cheap as possable as that means i can get them sooner. which is a good thing. i was thinking of 2 md1d or a md3d if i can find out if they are .5 ohm stable. any suggestions?

I was deciding between a kicker ZX2500, or a Rockford Fosgate t2000. please tell me which you like better or if you have any other suggestions. thanks
