I am wondering if anyone can tell me the pros and cons if any of the Sundown Audio SAZ1200D.1. I know that they make some awesome stereo equipment but I truly don't know anything at all about this amp. HELP,LOL.

Aight I ran into a guy on Craigslist selling a earthquake ph2000w/d1 so I picked it up for 50 bucks anyone have any info couldn't find much on Google any help

well i got robbed back in july in addition to hu being taken the radio bezel was also ripped out along with harness. so im getting ready to get another hu, possibly the same one (pio deh-p4900ib). i was looking at the wires yesterday and none of the wires looked familiar to me. so my question is how would i go about running the hu off the batt? i know i can ground(black wire) to the - and yellow(batt) wire can be wired to + of battery. how do i wire the red(ignition) wire? somebody chime in and let me know what i need to do safely step by step. this is going in a 99 mustang if that matters.

I was deciding on what brand of amp to go with I have cum down to five for my setup. The amps are Directed, Planet Audio, Massive Audio, Concept, and Autotek.

Here is a video to show my new charging system. The main point of the video, which came to my surprise. But EVEN with a large electircal system, you still may not be supplying enough for your audio equipment. This was an interesting find for myself. At full tilt sort of speak, my vehicle, the vehicle itself, pulls right around 40 amps!!! That is HUGE! haha. That included, headlights which is H.I.D.s, which pulled 10 amps lol, Wiper Full blast, Front heat full blast, rear heat full blast, and interior lights on. So, let's just say I had an stock 80amp Alternator. That means 40 for the vehicle, and only 40 for the audio equipment. That is some huge information to know for y…

Had my 4 channel amp sand blasted with sugar sand today, know i just need to decide on a new color. I'm leaning towards a blue to match the the gauge color of my 06 civic ex, but could could do it white and have LED tubes to high light it. Just not sure.

When my friend turns up the volume on his head unit, his door speakers cut out. It sounds like a skipping cd. They will cut back on and then right back off. Setup: Infiniti 6.5 in front Cheap dual 6x9s in rear Dual XD 7500

2volt headunit vs 4volt headunit which is better? what are the benefits of a high voltage sub output? I currently have a 2v alpine that i'm thinking of replacing I'm thinking with my current setup that I can use a little more power but idk If i get a 4v, will i have 2 retune my amps? Will I end up just turning my amps down with a 4v, and have the same results as b4? Would it be better to put that money towards a big amp? (money is rare)

Does anybody have advice on what amps would pound 2 15" juggernauts, there dual 1ohm's, my budget is 1600 for amps? there rms is 1500 each

The pioneer 880PRS / P80RS has an internal amplifier that can be be turned on and off as required. 1. Can the unit be used in network mode and still use the internal amplifier to output to the front and rear channels? 2. if the channels are still powered in network mode, do they have filtering on them? and can front/rear balance still be controlled from the headunit? I tried searching but search feature doesn't really like small words like Big 3. I've seen it a lot where people say you can leave the stock alternator/ground cables connected, but does disconnecting them have any effect? I ask because I would rather just cap the stock cables off for a cleaner install.

I was wondering when i need to upgrade the electrical in my 00' Jeep Grand Cherokee it has a 136 amp alternator. I have but not installed yet a 12" Fi SSD Sub w/copper coils being powered by an AQ 1200D amp at 2ohms. then i have CDT ES620 comps being powered by the AQ 4X90. Sub getting about 900 watts and the Comps getting 240 watts with gains turned down.

ok so i have a 2006 chevy colorado and im going to be getting a 270 amp singer alternator that comes with an overdrive pulley that adds 30-40 amps. and im pretty dead set on getting an xs battery for a secondary battery and i was wondering what size or model i should get. and i wanted to keep a battery with top posts under the hood and was wondering if i could go with like an optima yellow top under the hood or if i had another option for under the hood? ill be running a crescendo bc3500 on two fi bl 15s.

Looking for a little help with my headunit. I have a Kenwood 400U that powers on and runs fine just when i go under audio setting and try to move some of the settings around they dont do anything. The headunit has a subwoofer on and off option and when i try to turn the sub off with the headunit it still plays. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm from the UK so it's a little harder to get hold of Fi and Sundown , and everyone's talking about it,, but o well so i was wondering if this amp is anygood DLS Classic CAD11 im still getting an Fi Q from a UK dealer. or does anyone know a distributor in the UK that sell sundown amps. Found this PioneerGM-X524 amp with two 12"jbl subs (look like pieces of crap) on craigslist for only $100. i don't really care about the subs, but i was wondering if anyone has ever used this amp and what they have experienced with it? How does it handle heat dissipation after long periods of playing? Is it low quality? Just wondering what people have experienced with it. thanks!

k i have 2 rockford power elite series 1000.1's they are strappable amps and im running 4 l5 15's dual 4 ohm so i wanna strap em first off how do i do it and what do i need currently i am they hooked up seperate thanks

Hey guys I'm kind of new to building and wiring (I've done a couple of installs but I still like to learn). My question is what type of electrical system I should go with. I'm aiming to have TWO Sundown SAZ-1500D's and TWO RE-SX 12's. My question is what type of battery setup I should need to upgrade to. I've been looking at running an Optima Yellow Top D75/25 battery up front and an Optima Yellow Top D34/78 in the back. I don't have much info on some of the other brands to run like XS Power, BatCap, or Kinetik. Any info is much appreciated. I've been following the site for some time now and really like everything I've seen (the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe build is sick).

I have a 1998 Mitsubishi eclipse rs. Yesterday I tried taking out the stock head unit and putting in my Sony after market. I realized I messed up the the stock wiring harness. The wires no longer are plugged into the harness plug, just out hanging. I tried starting the car and the engine doesn't turn over all I get it a weird clicking sound coming from the dash. Battery is fully charged, lights work, heat/ac work. What could be wrong??
