how are they? do they have good SQ they throw their rated power? do they sound accurate? is it worth to pay the expensive they are?

I'm new to this site and had a couple of qestions about the Sundown saz3000d. I have 2 digital design 9515's dual 2's and I was wondering what would be a good amp to place with them? Right now I have 2 audiobahn 2300 hct but I am not satisfied and I was thinking of putting 2 saz3000d's in replace of them. I already know I need to upgrade my charging system. Any suggestions? Dana

Hello everyone, I haven't posted here in a while, but I've been keeping myself current on the threads in the build logs section for sure. Some of you might remember my build log, and might also remember that once I got to the point where I could finally fire the thing up, I was having lots of trouble with noise. I tested and tested, and it turns out that it is my JL Audio 500/5 that's to blame (I installed another amp in its place and the problem was totally fixed). It's a high pitched beeping sound that changes evenly in frequency (up and down). Sometimes it actually sounds like a pack of dolphins from the nature shows... very bizarre. like the title states i am looking for something that will do 1200-1500 @2ohm. i have not payed attention to the amp market for some time now and i dont even know where to start looking. doesnt have to be top of the line but i am looking for a good cost to performance ratio... can you guys help me out?

I was looking around today and found this amp at a local store. My friend has been looking for an amp that could run good power at two ohms mono or a 2 channel that could run 1 ohm stereo and I was wondering if this amp had any guts to it or if anyone could find some specs on it. to power a 15" or 18" Q should i usa a autotek mm 1400.1 or ss 1500.1? the reason i ask is becasue i have seen a few test done where the ss500 and i think the 1000 did there rated power around 13.8-14 volts. or should i go with the mm1400 and i am getting a good deal on the amps so they are the only 2 i can pick from.

alright, say i have the gains set at 1/2 on the amp. now, i plug in the knob, and turn the knob to MIN (amp gains still at 1/2) theres almost no bass. when i turn it to MAX, is it the same as my amp playing at full tilt with the gains at 1/2 if i didnt have the knob in? did i make sense? its kinda hard to explain what im trying to say...

Well i just dont feel my arsenals are getting all they can from my Autotek MM1400. I am looking for a good 2000 wattrms amp. I really dont care about the brand and dont want to spend a tone of money. The autotek is a good amp but i know my arsenals can take much more. Any suggestions are appreciated. And yes they are already in a dual port dual chamber box. Also accepting offers on the Autotek.

Alright dont have much cash but what are some of the best headunits out there that are around $200. Please tell me why it would be a good choice.

my 4 channel HK598 blew. im not exactly sure what the problem is, but its not in protect, it powers on, but no music...something prally broke becuase of the voltage drop. i put the powerbass xa3000d in....as soon as the bass hits, bam, voltage = 8v! this is on the stock electrical though. the powerbass is holding up like a champ, i have it off now though til i get home so i can put my hc2400 in after work, hopefully thatll help....i also emailed EA about an alternator. i really hope the hc2400 helps though in retaining power to at least 12v while the alt can recharge it....becuase right now the voltage drop is just ridiculous. its loud though. 15" treo ssx in like 4 cube…

ok, here's the situation. i've been out of the game for a while and am jumping back in with both feet but have a little area of concern, i will be running a 100.4 on all my mids and highs for front stage and rear fill but have also been toying with throwing a Audio Control eqs 6 channel crossover at it as well. My concern here is that with all the crossover points between the eqs and the amps, that there will be some serious tuning issues to the point of wanting to pull out what ever hair i have left. ( yes i am considered an old fart in the car audio world now, 33 on wednesday) I am open to suggestions here on which routes to go as far as ditching the idea of the eqs a…

lol it's not that good of quality, for some odd reason my cam didn't pick up the display to well, but it gives you a brief idea of the unit.

never dealt with EQ's and stuff before.... i originally planned to run an EQ and an external active xover, but lo and behold, the amp i am planning to run, the Usamps AX5600 has a built in 3-way xover. SOOO instead of spending another 50 dollars or so, and adding more stuff to wire, i can just run everything from the amp and the EQ. i purchased a PG TiEQ15 a few weeks ago and it only has one set of RCA inputs, and 1 set of outputs while the amp has 3 sets of inputs. i know i have to run another set of speaker wire/side as well as a set of RCA's from my HU but how do i handle the EQ? just run the eq off of the front RCA's? or am i out of luck and get a new eq with 3 …

Precision Power PC2150RB(used, but almost new) = $260 Zapco REF500.1(new) = $380 US Amps Merlin MD22(new) = $180 US Amps Xterminator XT800.2(new) = $125 Any other recommendations are appreciated . which would you guys pick? both would be @ 1 ohm, and i just got a kinetik hc2400 as well (for the mini) the amp is for my 12" mt only thing is ive heard the failure rate on the PB is alot higher than the 2500d. my friend has an xa3000, and its broken 2 or 3 times already, even after PB fixes it. it does good power, just i dont want it breaking down on me... i got it MINT for about 200 bux... 400 for the battery and the amp, both are like new, ill post pics later
