Since the recent install of my 18" BTL. When I have the windows more than half way up my deck skips real bad.. its a nice pioneer premier. Ill burn a new cd, go spin around for a few hours and my cd has scratch rings under it from the vibration lol.. anyone ever have this problem? what was your solution? Deck is a Pioneer Premier DEH-P780MP

I've got Dodge Magnum R/T with 160A stock alternator and from what I hear from other LX vehicle owners, the car's computer controls the alternator output...so upgrading my alternator isn't an option. So with my stock alternator what do you think is the most wattage I can run on my stock electrical? I know that an extra battery (or three) may be necessary along with Big three. Also, since my battery is in the rear, not under the hood, how does that effect things?

When you go to knukonceptz.com to order wire and it asks for qty does this mean feet? The wire I'm ordering is $1.75 for 1 qty so I guessing this is the price per foot?

Which position do you install the kit (1 1/2); with the radio in the upper or the lower? I've always had mine upper (sometimes with 1/2 din EQ's in the lower)... ...anybody ever placed their radio in the lower position?

I ordered a 270 Amp alternator from Singer a little over a week ago, and he said it should be ready for shipment by the end of this week. hey all i am currently in the market for a solid 1500-2000rms amplifier to power my IA lethal injections. i have narrowed it down to either a rockford fosgate t1500bd or an american bass 120.1. I will be doing a small amount of competing but mostly just daily listening. I can get them for almost the same price but just cant decide which one would suit me better. my electrical will consist of probably just a second larger battery in the back and the big 3. give me some pros and cons of each amp if ya could! thanks!

1997 GMC Sierra 1500 extended cab with 3rd door. When I turn ignition to ACC, doors automatically lock (which they never did before). Inside, door lock button (driver's side and sometime passenger side) does not work, doors must be unlocked manually. When trying to exit, remote does not work inside the cab when I turn truck off. Once I exit and close driver door, the remote works to lock the doors 98% of the time. There are some minor variations, but that seems to be the regular gig. I could use a little help with this one. I've got an Eclipse CD5030 with the optional tuning mic and I can't seem to get the auto time alignment nor auto EQ to change any settings. I've read the online manual and I'm fairly sure I'm doing it correctly, each time I do either setup the HU displays "Completed" then I hit the Enter key and none of the settings change. Any suggestions?

First of all I used the forums' search feature and I did not find any topics under "impedance rise". I currently am powering my XCON with a Crescendo 3kwp. I set the amplifier gain and ssf with my dvm. My XCON is wired for 1 ohm. With a little math my wrms output of my 3kwp should be around 1750 using -3db test tones ranging from 32-60hz. So here is my thoughts on impedence rise. I used a dvm and test tones to set my amplifier gain. This does not take into account any impedance rise between the narrow band of frequencies that my XCON plays. I took it out a few days ago and it had a 3.2v charge. A few min later it had a 1.2v charge, then 0.0v. Idk why it did this, or what I can do. But it sucks. Thoughts?

when running 2 dual 4 ohm woofers to a 1 ohm load, do you have to connect the wires that go to the amp both to the same woofer? or can you put the positive on one speaker and the negative on the other?
