I planned on putting 4 strobe lights inside my wall (sealed off from box shinning through a plexi window). I wanted to know if it is possible to hook up a music interface to these and if so where can I find one?

I'm about to install my system, looking around at the stuff I have sitting around, and I started to wonder if there may be a better way to do this. Here's my plan: PG RSd 65 components in Front 2x Sundown SD-1 (the old 8 ohm ones - which creates part of my dilemma) sealed in 1.5^3ft. Sundown SAX-100.4 So, the original plan was simple, run the components off the front channels using the passive XO included with them. Run the subs parallel off the rear channels of the amp. Lots of flexibility with the subsonic filters, bass boost, active XO in the sundown, as well as some basic stuff on my HU. Simple right? I think im leaning towards two level 4XL 15's whats a good amp to push those animals? I want something between $550-$650

I've got an Eclipse CD5030 with the optional tuning mic and I can't seem to get the auto time alignment nor auto EQ to change any settings. I've read the online manual and I'm fairly sure I'm doing it correctly, each time I do either setup the HU displays "Completed" then I hit the Enter key and none of the settings change. Any suggestions?

So as you all know I have been getting very mixed information trying to figure out what to do with my subs, my box and all that junk. Well I finally got a response from Bob at American Bass, turns out I am having such trouble finding info cause my speakers are 12 years old, although he says they are very good speakers, so I am still determined to use them with my setup. So I'm thinking of getting 2 mach 5 ixl15's and the sundown 1500. My question is with big 3 (0guage), kinetic hc800, and factory alt am I gonna toast my alt eventually? Unfortunatly the ixl's are only dual 2 ohm, I don't plan an pounding it all the time but would like a lil more spl occasionally. Cost is a factor to some degree, but would rather spend a little more and be safe if necessary. I've also considered the SSA Icons, but wonder if I would send enough power with the 1500. Either enclosure would be approx. 6-7cu. and ported to suggested spec. Thanks !

Going through some stuff I had in the attic and I ran across a Hifonics Thor Series VII amp Hooked it up in my truck and it works great. Only rated at 250 watts but running it bridged with a kicker 10" truck box and it pounds! Anyone know much about this relic? and of course I find it a month after buying a kicker zx400.1 amp for my Trans Am...would of used it and saved some cash.

hey firstly im new here so hello everyone as the title states i have a problem firstly my set up 0guage from batt to 80a fuse to 10a fuse to head unit and a 2guage to a distro block powering 3 amps (through 4 guage wire) 1 4 channel and 2 2 channels then 4 guage to another distro then 2guage to a hole that used to house a clip for the trim in the side of the boot (metal is thin, maybe this is the problem?). the remote from the HU goes into a 2 channel then piggybacks from there to the other 2 amps. I am ordering 2 RE XXX 6.5c sets. And am planning to use the sundown amp to power it all. Do I use the front or rear rca output on my deck to the amp. One component set in my front doors one in my rear doors. Or does it matter since I will be using the x-over network provided with the comp set.

I just got a daihatsu rocky, and the wife is going to take over my accord, so Im ripping out my stereo equipment. 2 problems though, no room in there for 3 subs and tools, and also, not enough alternator for 1150 watts. I am going to sell my hifonics amp, and put her fosgate amp and RE sub in my accord for her. I am going to get a cheap used 2ch for the comps and take my infinity amp back as well. For my birthday, my girlfriend bought me a brand spanking new Eclipse 5425 HU. I chose to install it because I was ripping everything out in order to lay down wiring for new speakers and amp. And I just really like doing that stuff myself. The problem is this... Sometimes the display and buttons don't light up and are inoperative. The stereo still plays, but you can only adjust the volume level and change stations. You cant insert or eject a cd, change any functions, or even tilt the screen.
