Aight my buddy did some work in his truck unplug subs an amp from his second battery. Plugs everything back up an hes getting a nasty interference annoying hum from his subs only does this when the truck is on

Zapco 750.2 or a Kicker 04KX550.2 to run 2 Soundstream T4 12 or 2 Infinity Kappa Prefect 12DVQ which one whould be the best choice to run these subs ?It will be a ported box.

Hey guys, i was wondering where or what company could i get a H/O Alt. for my 93 Mustang LX Ive been looking around and all i could seem to find is like 120 Amp ones. I dont know if thats enough of not to support An SAZ-3000D and 2 Kinetik HC 2000's+Kinetik HC1400 or not Could anyone give me some advice as to where i could look?

I did some research and I realize they are mostly a build house for other car audio companies and are based out of Korea. I just can't really find any info on the amplifiers they put out under their own name. I was looking at the "Zenon World Competition Series 4 Channel Amplifier", but can't find squat for info or reviews. Just curious if anyone has any experience with this amplifier? Would you say it would be a good SQ amplifier to run a component set with? Thanks for any help.

If you had the choice of the 2 headunits what would you choose. This is the first thing im having installed in my car later on i plan on getting a sundown sax 100.4 and running my front stage active. Later on i plan on getting a cadence txa-1000 and an FI BL. Just wondering what headunit you guys like better and why.

i can get the clarion for about 200 and the pioneer for about 300. is it worth goin for the pioneer? its my first active set up. i could afford some better speakers if i get the clarion... and i really like the look on the clarion for some reason... idk why...

Here's my new nightmare problem. I have to completely re-build my H/O alternator for my 2005 Ford Ranger XLT. This is a 3.0 V6 2WD and a Iraggi 260 amp H/O Ford 3G Large Case alternator. Due to a limited budget I am pressed to do this myself instead of sending it off for repair. I will be re-building it with a H/O 240 amp re-build kit. Here's some pics of my progress so far. Sup folks, I have a friend that is trying to figure out a way to make a mini ipod work with his stock cd player. THis is what he is trying to do and figure out. Can you tell me if its possible and if so how do you do it? "I have a 2000 Nissan Xterra SE with the factory head unit (CD/TAPE/CHANGER CONTROLLER DOUBLE DIN) and it doesn't have any inputs on the back other than a 12 pin connector for a cd changer (which I don't have). I'm trying to make an auxillary input out of the cd changer input so I can wire my iPod directly into the reciever for higher quality. Is there any advantage to wiring your sub(s) on different ohms?

I'm currently using a RF T600-4 to run my RF T1652-S door and rear deck speakers. I've started to notice when turning on my radio after the car has set for a while the front left speaker doesn't turn on until I turn the volume up a bit. Once it kicks on I can run forever at low or high volumes without it cutting out. Just wondering if anyone knows the internals in a amp that could cause this.

Anyone know if they under rate the 1200 watts at 1ohm ? Noticed no CEA-2006 compliance sticker on website so curious to peoples experiance. I'm at my wits end trying to figure this problem. I don't know it's my amp, battery, or alternator. I have one Kicker sub amp and one Alpine 4 channel amp. The problem lies with the 4 channel amp, it keeps turning on and off. It only happens randomly. I have checked all connections and they are tight. I checked all fuses and they are good. I also have relocated the ground for the 4 channel amp but the problem still continues. The gains are not maxed at all on both amps. I have checked the voltages multiple times and there are the results : All measurements are at car idle. Does anybody know when the Alpine 9833 or 9835 headunits be able to buy ?

As most of you know, i picked up pioneer 9300 from ebay for a nice cheap price. However, it is DOA..im out $80 Anywhoo... I put the faceplate on my friends 9300, the one that had the face stolen. This was its replacement. The H/U powers up fine, display works, no imfamous line in it. However, i cant use any of the buttons. Nor the remote. Ive reset it, cleaned the points with some glass cleaner, didnt have rubbing alcohol. Still nothing. Does anyone have any idea why it doesnt work ? The older unit worked flawessly, so i know its not the H/U

Anyone know of a good online place to buy audiocontrol stuff ? i was going to purchase a dq-61 and and epicenter for a great price from an authorized dealer. Pretty much the price of eBay .
