I am looking for an amp to run a pair of icons, would need to put out between 1500-2200 @ 1 or 2 or 4 ohms depending on which VC configuration. these are my choices so far 1) Sundown SAZ-1500d @ 1ohm 2) US Amps Merlin MD3 (2000w) @ 1 ohm 3) Hifonics Colossus @ 4 ohms bridged (2000w) 2) 2x Kicker ZX1000 now i will be running an HC1400 under the hood, with a Batcap 800 in the trunk(next best thing to a battery cause i am trying to keep it somewhat light), 1/0 throughout, Big 3, 10 additional 4amg grounds on chassis. the car only has a 110 amp alt. stock, so i am looking for the most efficient amp possible. I'm in a quandary. I need to make a quick decision on amp. Equipment I have is 220 amp alt, big three done, two hc 2400. Subs are two fi ssd dual 2, box tuned to 45 Hz. I plan on competing in s3 and trying to decide which amp to get before pre-order ends. Would you go with the saz-2500 or the saz-3500. All info and suggestions appreciative.

I am looking at two different amps. The sundown 3500 or the crescendo 5500. Both r close and around same price. I hear crescendo is not very good at customer service and theory ratings r rated at 13.8 volts. Sundown on the other hand is known for customer service and umderate their amps, supposingly tested at 12.5 volts. I'm leaning toward the sundown amp and almost commuted to it, but would the crescendo b better especially since they have .05 ohm warranty. What do u guys think?

I'm looking at two amps a sundown 2500 or the crescendo 2000. I have the power to run either amp. I will be running it on a pair of disadvantages 12's.2 ohm daily, .05 ohm at competitions. What would u guys choose?

I am getting a set of Focal 165KRX2 components and I need am amp to power them. I am looking at the Mosconi ONE 120.2, AS 100.2, the TREO SSX100.2 or the JL audio 300/2v2. Which amp do you think would work the best for these components? Any help is greatly appreciated.

So I am about to purchase the BL18 Dual 1 ohm, but I am not sure on what amp and head units fit this sub the best. Can anyone give me any suggestions? I need the sub for rap and hip hop that involve a lot of bass to pump me on my way to the gym, because I bodybuild. I drive a 98 Lexus es 300 and will probably throw it in my trunk. And I am also unsure of what kind of box to use, and what dimensions. Can anybody give me some suggestions? (you might be a poet and not even know it- wow that was gay)

Which amp would work better with a Mach 5 Audio IXL 15, The sundown saz 1500d or the sae 1000d?

checking online i have picked 3 choices... 1. PPI D2000/1 + PPI A600/4 2. Soundstream Tarantula TRX2000.1 and TRX880.4 3. Boston Acoustics GT 28 + GT 42 Which combo would be best? setup would be a so called LOUD SOUND QUALITY type, a good set of fronts, might be 3 ways but with a good sounding loud sub from behind... I've decided to go ahead and keep my Dcon, but now I need a new amp. Where I'm mounting it (under rear seat) and the way my wires are already ran makes these two a good fit (my old amp was an MTX RFL600D). I've never understood the technical aspects of amps, so what I need to know is which amp would be a better choice?

hey guys my buddy is trying to decide between a Rockford T-1500 or Sundown SAZ-1500. i know this website praises the Sundown's, but WHY is it better then the Rockford? he said his budget is whatever it needs to be. he is running a pair of 15in IA Lethal Injections. he has them in his Jeep Wrangler. his electrical is all stock, but he is also in the process of getting a battery. im looking at upgrading my system. im planing on useing 1 bl 12 and was looking at using a hifonics bxi1606d or a bxi2006d. which would be better to power the bl? and what options would i need? or is there another amp around the same price range as the hifonics that would be better to use?

so im thinkin about selling my hifonics 1610d and buying a sae1200d from sundown. would that b a good idea? im running 1 18" fi q with bp power in a 6.3 cubic foot box after sub and port displacement.

Ok i need to know which one of these amps are the better one to get (am running a 1 ohm load). I narrowed it down to either the Autotek MM 2000, the Soundstream PCX2000D or the Soundstream TRX2000D. I would like to hear from anyone who heard these amps. And which one of these amps do rated power or is closes to rated power. Any input?

So the plan right now is to pick up (2) 12" SSDs for the new car. Originally I was going to power them with a SAZ-1500D and call it a day. Now I have been pondering the idea of powering them with 2 SAE-1000Ds for a little extra juice and a little overhead. I just don't know if the price difference is worth it. So the question is which do you think I should do? I've heard the 1500D is underrated with the right electrical, but will I get more out of this setep with the 2000W? Thanks in advance.

I ordered a ssd15 and it should be coming in in about a week. What amp should i choose? I have been looking at the soundstream rubicon 1600d, the powerbass xax1200d, and the lanzar opti1400d. These are all on amazon for under $230 with shipping. Its weird how the least powerful is the most expencive and the most powerfull is the least expencive. But something about the lanzar has been grabbing my attention. If there are any other amplifiers in this like class and price range could you help me out and give a reccomendation?

im gonna run dual alts, my stock one on the redtop for the starter battery, and then a 250a one im buying from kickinaudio for the system...i have 2 15" mt's and 2 orion d5000s. should i run stinger batts or svr? or what else is there? i was thinking the svr80-12's(maybe 2 of them?) or a stinger 2150? i want to get the most out of these amps. they will be running at 1 ohm for sure, possibly .5 ohm...idk yet. thanks, VJ.

I just bought a sundown saz 2500d...I was wondering which battery should i buy. i'm looking at a yellow top or a XS Power D2400. I don't have money to buy 2 at this time but i do plan on buying another one of which ever i buy to put in the back. Thanks guys

I am needing to upgrade my battery, but would like to know which setup is better since they cost roughly the same amount. First I will be running an American Pro VS-1407 and a Sundown SAE-1200Dv2. I plan to upgrade my starting battery. So would it be better for the car and the stereo to run a Duralast Gold up front and a Kinetik HC800 in the back OR to run only a Kinetik HC1800?

Hey, I was just looking for some input on which car battery I should purchase for my 2000 GMC safari van. I plan on running 2 18" Fi Q series off of 2 apline pdx 1000.1's also a alpine for my highs and mids. I have already purchased a xsatic 400 series batcat for the rear and wanted some help on picking a battery for up front to replace the stock one. I am running 0awg power and ground wire from the front battery to the rear also am planning on doing the BIG3 but dont really know how to upgrade the alt. wire to 0awg, anyhow i dont plan on upgrading the alt right away maybe down the road so I need a battery that can be ran off the stock alt. I guess i've decided to get a new battery, and need to know what is adequate and still cheap for my system... I have a clarion 1500 watt amp and stock battery under the hood in a 2000 honda accord. If I run a second battery to the trunk is a kinetik hc800 enough to get the job done(stay above at least 11v) or do I need more and who makes the best cheap batteries? My local shop has a used stinger sp1700 out of their demo van for only 200, that may be the way to go but im hoping to spend less if possible Please and thanks for replies

hi, i am looking at batteries i am wondering which would be better. kinetic or powermasteror stinger , this is for under the hood and the biggest kinetic i can get is the hc1400 ( because of height) and the biggest powermaster that i can fit is either the PWM-D2400 but if i go with the powermaster would it still be ok to have like the hc2400 in the back or should i go with 2 PWM-D3100 it is going to be a 3k rms system i belive. also i i was looking at stinger's battery too since they are short. my max height is like 8.3" the powermaster's push it then there is the 1400 then stingers are like 7" ( i have to remeasure to see what stinger can fit. also though how big of a b…
