I am just completely stumped with this problem. I'll try not to make it long but I want to make sure I explain everything right. I have two amps in my car. A Rockford P500.2 and the SAX-1200D. Both have their own runs of power wire and grounds. The Rockford has 8 gauge going to it, as nothing bigger is necessary, and the 1200D has 4 gauge running to it. Yesterday I completely redid everything at my battery. I had to get new battery terminals, as mine were meant for a top post battery, and rewired the factory ground and such to the new terminals. That went smoothly, car starts without any problems now (had some bad issues). My battery tested good at autozone. I also …

I have a AQ2200.1D amp at 1 ohm with my 12" ascendant mayhem, it pounds off stock battery bit I hit the clipping light at around 20 on my alpine cde-hd137bt. I do have a 270 amp HO alt and big three and my lights dim sometimes but I'm wondering what all batteries do I all need to make it bump harder, louder and deeper, and make my stiff rear view mirror fall off?

Did some testing this morning on my electrical. At the post on my alt im reading at 12.4v idle and 11.9v under load. Is there something on my Durango that would cause it not to charge at 14.4v at idle? or is it my alt going out? Its a 4.7l dodge Durango 2004 model. 270a Tenney alt.

Have been looking at the Crescendo 1100.4 & the DC175.4 & somewhat at the new Incriminator Audio's new 4 channel..after reading a few problems with the Crescendos amp's having problems it made me steer away..but I also read quite a bit of positive feedback also, and price is $420 shipped, While DC is ~$600 for a little bit more power.. I have (4) Audiopipe ATX 4060 ST & (4) PWX 6.5 Crescendos. Plan to wire them 2 speakers on each channel.. putting it at 2 ohms output. I wanted to go with the Crescendo Amp, because I read quite a bit of positive feedback about it, and it is in my price range, but if there is quite a bit of problems going on with them I'd …

Not too sure what to think of these... 100ah batteries for 160 bucks? I'm assuming that build quality isn't there compared to other high end battery makers, would they even be worth using? I'll probably be needing some backup electrical sometime soon and don't have a ton of money.

are these amps any good.. looking at the nano series... well the issue is that the nanoblock 4 claims to be 2000 watts rms cea compliant but only costs 279.. does any one use these amps or know anything about them? cause that price is really fishy for that amount of power

Ive searched ca.com ive searched here a little bit and i even asked a dedicated forum for my car but i have a 2000 toyota camry with a 2.2l and im trying to do the big 3 on it. But with all the wires in wire loom and such However doing it is alot harder than my s10. So my question is can i just add 0gauge wire and not mess with the stock wiring? Or is this a no go? Reason i thought i could do it is becauase i see alot of you guys run multiple strands on 0 gauge instead of just one strand. Any help would be great.

Hi. Can anyone tell me if this is a good amp or not. (SAZ 1200d.1 Mono.) I am aware of Sundowns reputation of having great Speakers/Subs but I don't know about this particular amp. I am planning on using it to power (2) DD1508 D4 subs and would like to know that it will be sufficient with over head left. I do appreciate all input and thank you.

Alpine Vpower M-650 I have seen this amp at bestbuy and on crutchfield for $250+ It is only 650 watts supposedly and not 1ohm stable So i am wondering is it over priced? am i missing something here? a hifonics amp is half that price and double the boom I am asking because my friend has one and we're trying to find a good 12" to put it on http://www.crutchfield.com/S-S36Z13yjYlN/p_500MRPM650/Alpine-MRP-M650.html

With two D1 ohm subs if wired in series for a 4 ohm load with two 1500rms 1ohm mono amps strapped would that give me a final load on the amps of 2ohms being there strapped? If wired in series/parallel for a 1 ohm load with two 1500rms 1ohm mono amps strapped would that give me a final load on the amps of .5ohm strapped? Also out of all the researching I've done regarding strapping, is it true that 2 strapped 1500rms 1ohm mono amps be like a 3k 2ohm amp? I posted this elsewhere also n I believe they answered wrong considering everything I find its double the power/ohm just wanna get another opinion in a better worded post

I accidentally cracked the cone of my Fi Q12 not paying attention to having cargo secured properly. Anyhow, It's been replaced but once I put it back together, the woofer practically has zero output and what's there sounds really distorted. I double checked my ground and it reads .2 ohms. Power to the amp is good (reads 12.65V on battery). Reading across the woofer coils is good (1.2ohms). I swapped out a new RCA thinking maybe that's it and still the same thing. Messing around with the head unit and amp settings make no difference. I even replaced the woofer completely and it also does the same thing. I've got a Sun Down SAZ-1500D V.3 amp I ordered back in Octobe…

I was planning on purchasing two RF P3D2 12's (600rms each) in a ported enclosure and need help on picking the right amp for them. I am stuck inbetween the RF T-1000.1 which has a posted 1000rms and the RF T-500.1 that outputs 500rms both at 2 ohms. The problems is that RF apparently under rates their amps and i've seen some "birth sheets" of both these amps going over 100rms-500rms of the posted rms on the RF website. I don't want to over power these subs or under power them too much. Any help for choosing the correct amp for these subs would be appreciated.
