I was just wondering is the Audiopipe AQX35001 a good Amp for the money? There arent but 3 stores who sale it on the whole internet.. So. my hifonics brutus bxi1208d is causing distortion, it doesn't start up instantly but as it gets going it starts to CLIP hard, the clipping light isn't going off or anything, im assuming its the heat? its about 100 degrees Fahrenheit. i have an Kinetik Hc 600, 4 gauge wire, stock alt. i get what i'd payed for right?

if on my battery i am running a 2 gauge wire to my alternator and a 2 gauge wire to my amps coming from the positive battery terminal post, is ok to wire one 0 gauge wire from the battery to the frame or does it have to be (2)-2 guage wires going from the battery's negative terminal post to frame. in the long run after running two batteries i will come up with close to 5 ground wires that needed to be grounded to the frame and i wanted to lighten the load if possible but if not its cool.

im using a crappy boss flip out head unit. and my system getting to loud to where it is shutting my head unit off until i hit the power button on. any suggestions on what is the best head unit to get?

whats your take on the three amps ive been eyeing- AQ 3500, DC 3.5K and Crecendo 3500? im spinning a Singer 220A alternator and 2- kinetic HC1800. so what you think- there all the same. they are the same price new. thanks for any input

I just came back from the store but before I made it home my amp, a JL Audio 1000/1 cut off and the low voltage light came on. I have 1 gauge wiring with Big 3 and 1 gauge running to my rear battery. Both my battery are Optima Red Tops. I was listening to at very low volume like 5 and I decided to crank it and after 8 or 10 seconds it cuts out. I'm pushing a 12W7 so I'm not sure whats the deal. Can it be the stinger 200 amp isolator that I have in between my 2 batteries? All my connections are tight and grounded good. What am I missing? I need to fix this so any suggestions? I have a lil over 700$ to spend on an amp for my 18" BTL I was thinking on buying a Rockford Fosgate T20001bd for a lil over 700$ And money is kinda tight with college coming up and bills and such.. Or just wait and save up a little more cash and get the Sundown 3000D Its really just a ground pounder and im not really concerned about numbers on the mic.. My question is, Is that Rockford a good amp to push my BTL? I just know how Sundown is all good talk and wonderful customer service..

Well, my Avionixx 4ch died on me, so while I'm having it refurbed, I think I'm going to go ahead and upgrade. Right now I'm looking at an Eclipse E4000, it's rated at 100w x4 @ 4 ohm but the guy at a local shop says he thinks it does more like 85w...I believe him too. Anyway, does anyone have any opinions on their amps? I have a 99 Siverado LT 5.3. I upgraded big 3, 220 amp alternator, 2 extra kinetik 1800's, running 0 ga wire. I only have a rockford T10001bd,pushing 2 T110's, and a rockford T600-4 running MB quarts 5.25 in kick panel and 6.5 mid bass in doors. Lights still dim when bass hits going down the road. I don't know what else to upgrade to get it to stop. All grounds seem to be good. I was looking to upgrade, that's the reason for 2 kinetiks, but if lights dim with what I have it will go black if I upgrade. Any help on what could be going on. Thanks

I just ordered two 12" aa havoc's which are 1250 rms. What would be a good amp to run on these. I was looking at sundowns but didnt know if i shoudl wait for there new 2500 watt amp to come out or what

i havent hooked anything up yet but i have a fosgate t1000bd and 1 fi BL 15 with dual 1 ohm and p chamber and flat wind since im hooking this up to a 1 ohm load but i hear that the 1 ohm is only .70 ohms will my amp keep up with the sub and will it be safe to do without blowing stuff ?? how many watts will the amp put out under 1 ohm any advise would be great

I need an amp to power 2 xcon 18's, or zcon 18's (sub choice as of now, may change but that power range) Need a good solid amp with clean power, price insnt a complete issue but pref about 1k new. dont mind strpping two smaller amps, and im a fan of dual power/ground inputs. suggestions? car is 99 jeep grand cherokee subs are as stated most likely 2 xcon 18's or zcon 18s ""SQL"" kinda of set up plays music, very loud. will have big 3 and singer 250a alt, and xs 6500 under hood, maybe some d3100 in the back.

I'm wondering about the Orion 222 SX. Like this: I know it is rated for 22w X 2 @ 4 Ohms. Outside of that, however, I am somehow under the impression that the SX-series units would do somewhat over rated power and additionally would run at lower than expected resistance loads like the HCCA and XTR amps would? If I am mistaken about this please do correct my ignorance. If anyone knows the real output of this little guy or could maybe point me towards an installation/user's manual I would be greatly appreciative.

Like the title says, im looking at a AQ3500. im not sure if its the old one or the new one so i have a few questions i would like to ask..... 1. how can u tell the difference between the new and old one? 2. how much do they go for in good condition and 3. is there naything specific i need to be looking for when im looking at the amp??? I looked on **** and seen them going for 550-600 shipped and i have the chance to get one for...... well id rather not say until its a done deal. let just say its a GOOD deal haha. Taxes are just around the corner an I have an issue to solve.my current setup 2 icon d2's an bc2000 is sitting at .5 ohms.head was up my ass when ordering the subs.My question is do I get another bc2000 not strapped or get another amp with 2500 RMS at 2 ohms or close to it?

I have two JL audio 1000/1 V@ that I want to put on my FI BTL 18" dual 2 but I want to be safe cause I use it for daily.... does anyone know about these amps to know how I should tune and how I should strap or run each amp to each coil. Right now I have a hifonics brz 2100 and I have the speaker ran at 1 ohm. Im hitting about 144db and its clear but I want to sell the amp so I figure stop using it until I can sell it so that I can get me STETSOM 2k5E or the sundown 2500! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, just to give you a low down on what i have. I have the 2 18 inch SSA prototypes 4,000 RMS being pushed with 1 (for now, soon to have two) AQX3500.1 in a 1997 honda accord SE, and a DC 270 XP alternator. Now, i live in Arizona which i know a lot of other people do who are on SSA forum. My amp is located in the trunk along with the battery. My box sits in the backseat. I am having HUGE cooling problems with the amp because no AC can get to the trunk and the trunk is forced to deal with full exposure unlike most SUV's. The fan helps but i still can't quite seem to get it out of protect and if it does, it takes 5 minutes with the trunk open and the fan running. Not …
