Audioque has been working on a new project that they may be deciding to release this spring of 2010! It will either be one or 2 different 10kd models but this is what he has said- Pricing will still be fair and cheap based on current models pricing. This 10,000w amp is stated to be rated at 10,000w @1ohm in between 12-14.4v @1%THD. There will also be a 20,000w rated @18v. This monsterous amp will have 3 sets of 1/0 PWR\GND terminals. I'm sure there will be a warning about having an upgraded electrical system, lol. Two questions 1) Does the AQ2200 have a regulated power supply? 2) Would the AQ2200 be able to run 2 FI Q 15's with BP power, or would that be too much power for the subs? Thanks

I was looking at a aq2200d. I have a 2009 Tahoe with a 4.8L?. So I was thinking if I had a upgraded battery in the front and a bank of kinetic 1800s or similar from XS power(which one would be better) also open to other suggestions? Would that be enough to run a aq2200d at .5 daily? It will only be played at full tilt for demos. Also I will probably put a battery charger on the bank at night.

Today i got my AQ2200 (used) and hooked it up to my dvc 4ohm(wired to 1ohm) type r's just to see how it works, it was dark out so i couldnt/didnt really have time to tune the amp correctly.. but i did do it by ear real quick., and i have to say.... i was REALLY dissapointed My PDX1000 performed/powered better.. i set the gains on that by ear, but acually sat there for about an hour listening to it and turning lil by lil. (not like i did with the AQ) My question is should i be afriad its defective? oh.. and do i HAVE to use the bass knob? - i dont like having one. Thank you dom.

i was wondering if i could power one rl-p 18 with an aq2200d. would i get the sub in d4 and wire it in parallel to get a 2 ohm load, (which is 1300watts ). or should i get d2 and wire it in series to get a 4 ohm load? (740 watts) the soundsplinter website says 500 to 1000watts.

i finally hooked up my system today, but i need to set up my aq2200d properly. i know how to set the gain with a dmm, but i couldn't turn the gain up high enough to reach the voltage i got.(54.41) Also what should i set the ssf/lpf to. The dial for lpf is only 20-200 or something like that, nothing in between, so were should i set it approxiamately? same with the ssf. My substage consists of a ss Rl-p 18 in 5 cubic foot box tuned to 27 hz. thanks!

okay, so where to start.. I have a AQ2200 in my GMC S15 ext cab. The other day it was working perfect, i unhooked the amp (while batt disconected) and took it out because i was removing my seats+subs w/box and going to shampoo the seats and where the amp is located i didnt want the seat brackets to bang/hit against the amp. Well i cleaned everything and put everything back in and everything LOOKED like it was working fine but.. there was no sound comming from my speakers... so, i recheck all my wires.. once, twice, and a third time.. i unhooked and hooked the wires to the amp again.. no sound. I switched the + & - speaker wires in different inputs of the amp.. no soun…

My amp is out for delivery!! Just wondering if the remote that comes with the AQ2200D is remote gain or just a subwoofer level controller. I've heard that remote gain is bad, but the opposite only controls the level up to where the gain is set. Reading back through that, it doesn't really make sense.. Hopefully you guys understand what I'm asking

I have just finished receiving my impedance curve measurements for my setup design between 20hz-80hz. Here shortly, the graph will be posted here and in a few hrs, me and a buddy are gonna take a trip to an isolated area where we will be measuring output and efficiency and comparing those numbers with the SAZ1500D as i've always wanted to know if the AQ outperforms the Sundown since it's rated to do more power but only at a higher voltage. As of right now, - Impedance curve ranges from 1.76 ohms to 21.6 ohms. DCR is 0.7 ohms So... i will NOT have any measurements below 1.76 ohms and depending on heat buildup, i'm still hoping to pull some numbers out of the AQ below 2.0 o…

I am trying to decide between (2) new AudioQue 2200ds or (2) used or refurbished Sundown SAZ-2000ds. I want to spend less than 800 and will be driving 4 D4 Elemental Designs 13Av.2s. I want to link 2 and I am hoping to get around 1100 to 1300 to each sub and they will be in a new box slightly over 8.8 ft.^3 tuned to 29hz. I have proper electrical so that won't be an issue so just some opinions on what your experiences are with the amps and which ones you would buy. Thanks.

How much stronger would the 2 aq2200d @ 1 ohm strapped be compare to 1 aq3500d old one @ 1 ohm on 2 dd3512? Running a 180 amp alternator with 2 kinetik 2400 and 1 kinetik 1400 in the back. Would this even be enough to run the 2 aq2200d? This would be a daily driver.

I plan on buying a HDC318 dual 2ohm with alum coil & upgraded spider pack and Im giving 4k to the sub The AQ puts out 3500rms @1ohm And the 4k2d puts out 4200rms @2ohms @ 12.8volts @ 5000+wrms @2ohms @ 13.8volts. So what amp would be better and more efficent between a aq3500d and a stetsom 4k2d?

Will I see a big difference if i update from an aq3500d (old one 3500 watts) to a saz-4500? I am looking to get my 2 dd3512e louder. Would this get me there?

So who has a new aq3500d.1 and how do you like it? i cant stop drooling over it and for the price i want it. Does it do rated or more? I just need some more power... welll.... not neeed but i sure want some hahaha

well i have everything hookedup and when my amp wont turn on, my remote wire power grounds, all connected to my back battery, as of now i got my stinger voltmeter working but thats it, it only works when the power and the remote wire are hooked together, and then the remote wire to the amp, thats only when it turns on but if i take out my voltmeter amp doesnt turn on, anyone know how to solve my problem dont have have to keep removing my remote wire, to have to turn off my amp and turn it back on as well also my aq gets hot pretty much imo. any help will be nice, i kow its kinda of a mess if you guys want me to explain it better i will

Will a aq750 be able to run at .5 ohms?

the input voltage on this amp is .25 to 2.5 my head unit has 4 volt pre-outs. Will this cause a problem?

I was wondering if anyone had an expeirence with the new ARC amps. I'm pretty sure its the KAR series its a mini amp. 125.2 or 125.4 and its like 8"x4"x2" or something like that. Its super small. Im looking into an Arc Audio 1500-XXK im worndering is it stable at 1ohm nominal or for 1ohm nominal usage in SPL? Also, does it do rated?

I have an arc audio 1200.1 amp I have not used it yet but wanted to see if anyone on this thread had any opinions on it. I also have bc2000D amplifier. I realize the wattage difference. I have been told that the arc will be very effecient. Should I expect the same out of the crescendo? Just exploring options. My build if for my daily driver.

I can get my hands on a Kar 1000.2t and I just wondered if there were any good, mostly from a SQ perspective but for a daily driver not that fancy. Anyone had any experience with these amps? Im looking for sq amps but it must be able to fit under the seat of my 07 frontier. This amp seems to fit the bill pretty well as far as size and with the class g/h design should be pretty clean sounding. It will be bridged to a pair of HAT CLARUS 6.5 components. Passive for now.

This amp is cutting off on me at high and when I turn it down for a few seconds it come back on. Could this be from a short on one of the speakers lead. The amp is not hot at all and I notice that it just started doing this about a week ago. It has a status light that is blinking but the manual does not explain what blinking sequence this applies to code 11-thermal protection, code 12-short protection, code 13-repeated short & code 14-over volt protection.

I was planning on getting two of these for the 2 BTL 12s Im getting but I looked at the pix and I didnt really notice any fans, does that mean I have to be weary of over heating? Ive had problems with amps doin that before. Also would it have a pretty good or just eh sound quality? Id be using it in a daily set up so yea.
