Anyone?

Now I've pretty much maxed out the weight in batteries I feel comfortable putting in the 300 considering this is my daily rig atm. I've never run this crazy of an amount of power before so do you guys think I can get away with 2 340 amp alternators, and 5 group 31 agm batteries? With the leviathan and the 2 12ks that should be around 1800amps at 13.8v. Obviously I won't get 14.7 with no drop, but I just don't want to be dropping into the 11s. As long as I'm at 12.0 and up I feel safe. Since you guys have ran that much power and know that electrical isn't completely black and white, you guys should have a general idea. Well I am trying to get a system back up and running, and am in need of an amp. I am looking for something that can do 1000-1200 watts rms at 1ohm stable, and have the unfortunately low budget of around $200 shipped I currently drive a 2005 Scion Xa. 160 amp H/O alternator. It has all knukonceptz speaker wire, rca's and distribution blocks. 0g big 3 upgrade and 0g power and ground wires. A Panasonic CQ-C7205U head unit. I run an Alpine PDX 100.4 for my infinity reference components in front and coaxials in the rear. 2 Elemental Designs 13Ov.2's dual 4 ohm subwoofers in a custom 2ft3 sealed enclosure. they are 600 watts rms each, and I have them wired to a 1ohm load. …

i have a 2 channel amp and it says it puts out 320 watts at 1 ohm x2 so if i have 4 speakers rated at 80 watts a piece can i just put them on 1 of the amps channels and it will put out the power they need is that how it works and its the other 320 watts on the other channel not used please help

so when i put my latest head unit into my car, i left a cd in my old unit, and i have been trying to get it out. i have a power supply that i plan to hook up to it, but i can't figure out where to hook my wires up to, so i need a diagram to find out where to hook my positive and negative leads....any one know where i can get a diagram? the unit is a Clarion ProAudio DRX6375. i googled and eBay'd and all i found was a picture of the diagram but the seller on eBay made it microscopic because he only wanted buyers looking at it.

Ok I'm not that good at this but have a newer amp with 6 chips on the PS sink. Seems to be two transformers and 3 fets each, the output is on other side of chassis. Well the 3rd and 6th one are shorted pos to neg and blew the +12v trace. If shorted then they must be bad, the rest are near same ohms and not on/shorted at rest and all same # chips. Anyway, can I just replace them....what would cause this to happen? Would something else be shot too? They are $15 each so far I've found. Was looking for something today, and found this hiding under some stuff. Anyone ever seen one like this or better yet used one like it? It looks to be over my head unless someone could dumb it down for me. I set gains by ear, but if this could be used I would like to play around with it some. There is no manual that I can find. Maybe I could contact the manufacturer, but thought I would ask here before I put too much effort into something that Maybe cant even be used for what I want to do with it. I am going to be running a Pioneer 80prs with front and rear RCA output for my front stage. I am going to have two amplifiers for my front stage. How do I go about my lack of RCA signal ? I know I can use a processor but is there another way to go about it and not be poor quality? Thanks for any help

I just got a sundown 3000d and it since it can run from 10 volts to 18 volts, ive got to thinking of a 16 volt battery setup for the future. But how would i do that and keep the rest of the car that needs to be 12 volts stay at 12 volts?

I installed my Alpine 9887 the other day and plan to mostly use my Samsung Galaxy to play music with it. I bought an AI-net to 3.5mm jack to plug the galaxy to where the CD changer would normally plug into. Here's the problem; it plays music, but no matter what source I have selected on the 9887, so it plays over the CD if the deck is playing a CD. If i select AUX in on the deck it only plays the Galaxy's music, but my subs don't seem to be playing at all. I've got AUX turned "on" on the deck, and the digital AUX turned "off". Sub level is turned up to 15, they play fine while playing CDs. Would swapping my AI-net -> 3.5mm jack to a AI-net -> female RCAs and adding …

i have a problem guys when ever i turn my mmats pro audio 1500.1 amp on it says protect and wont come out of protect mode i have no subs hooked up so i dont know what it could poosibly be?? any clue???

Just want to wire a friends two under-dash neon's and one under the back seat to a single toggle switch mounted on the dash. Battery ---> power wire (16ga) ---> inline fuse (5amp) ---> more power wire ---> 12v power on switch Acc on on switch ---> neon x3 (splicing all together to run off the single switch) Ground switch and tube. Right? Wrong? Your feet smell? Perhaps just using the cigarette lighter in the car. Cut the wires off the back of the lighter in the dash, cut the DC adapter off of the neon, wires from lighter into switch ... ? Probably the easiest way if it works ... Thoughts and opinions. This seems like such a simple question, but I can't find the answer. What are the advantages and disadvantages between two different amps that put out the same out of power but at different resistances? Mainly looking for answers on a more technical level, like which will put less strain on my electrical system or which is thermally/mechanically better for the subwoofer. I have a Fi SSD 10, D2 and copper coil, and I'm looking for a 1000w amp to power it.

I am thinking a running a 3way active system and was wondering what are some of the best headunits to use.

I have a question about my car or alternator. I have a permanent volt meter inside my car monitoring my electric status due to my audio install, I've noticed that when I'm on the highway at high speed or when at high idle, normally above 2,000 rpm, the voltage drops, below 12.6v and the battery and brake lights start to blink on and off on the dashboard, even with my radio and complete system off. What is happening? Thanks.
