ummm can you run a RF t1000.1db @ half ohm

So I have a Alpine ute52bt that is cutting out whwn I turn it up. I first thought it was a connection So it was checked. Tried to move the ground from factory to bear metal to battery and it still cuts out once I start to turn up the volume. do you guys have any other ideas? Sorry for the short post. My set up is the deck listed. A pair of i65c and a pair of infinitys in the rear. Nothing follows.

I am looking at get one of the new ROCKFORD FOSGATE T2500-1 bd Amps And I was wondering if anyone knew much about them yet. I did some reading up on it and it seems like a decent amp for the price. Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Well, I'm going to be running a AQ2200D (as some of you may know) to power a IA DP 21". Now I'm having some worries about my electrical system. These are my plans: STOCK ALT. It's a 150A Bosch alt. (Possibly 130A, but I'm pretty sure 150.) either 1/0 or 2/0 wiring all the way around. Positive & negative run to the front. (I know bigger is better, but do I need 2/0?) (1) Deka 9A31 in the rear. (Would go PM, but that's out of my budget. Plus, I can't justify spending that much on a single battery when I can get two Dekas for the same price, even though the PMs are better.) That's my starting plans. If this does not work out, I'm going to throw another Deka 9A31 …

I was attempting to hook up my dekas finally, they have a 3/8ths stud. I went to home depot, bought some 3/8"s nuts, but they dont fit exactly. It sounds like the threads are wrong, but what do I use?

Which sounds like a better idea to you. I am in need of a new double din gps radio and i also plan on going active. Here are the choices I can either get the new kenwood dnx9140 sax 100.4 for mids sax 100.4 for highs (will be mostly tuned down since the tweeters will not be able to take 160+ watts of power as they are 2 ohm) i would need to use the crossovers on the amp or the new kenwood dnx7140 rockford fosgate 3sixty.2 (used as the crossover) sax 100.4 for mids sax 50.4 for highs both cost the same or if you feel that there is something better that i should get please let me know

i been reading around and i just found out that my car has no remote turn on wire, But i have an aftermarket cd player. what color wire should tap into to run the amplifier remote wire?

So Ive bought and returned every solder gun in home depot and none of them work for what Im doing. I want to solder the ring terminals to my 0/1 wire but the guns dont heat it up enough. Where do i get a decent solder gun for doing 0/1 wire and how many watts should it be? The highest I found at home depot was 75. Two weekends in a row now its starting to get frickin annoying. Any ideas?

So my amp outputs 3500watts, but its fuses are only 3X30amp so 90 amps which is what 900 watt rms or something around that???? so whats gonna happen if i set it higher then what the fuses can take. I really want to set them higher since i got the bad boy 18 Fi BL.

Hello all, Would you mind giving wiring advice for my Pontiac G6? Here is what I currently have: 1 yellow top in engine bay, no rear battery yet. Big 3 done with knuconcept 1/0 1 run of power wire to trunk I am grounding off frame in trunk, but when I tested the impedance I got a low # (don't remember exact #) Standard alt I will be running 2 Xcons 12s D1, with most likely a BC3500. I have a BC2000 for now. These will be trunk mounted with fold down seats. I will be buying a amp for the component speakers, not sure what yet? do the monoblocks with the fans in them make a big difference or not unless you run then for a long period of time??..cause ive come down to either choosing the ED nine.1 or the massive audio p1500.1,the nine,1 has a built in fan and the massive doesnt but i heard the massive is a overrall better quality amp so i wanted to ask you guys...

I am planning on putting a system in my stock 05 Dodge ram 1500 Quad-cab and wanted to know if my electrical could handle it if i added a couple of batterys in the back? I don't want to buy a alt because i will be getting rid of the truck in about a year or so. the amp will push one DC lvl4XL or Lvl5 I have the whole back seat to work with for space If anyone needs any other specs just ask. Are there really any half decent HU's these days? Originally I was gonna go with a Kenwood eXcelon KVT-696. But I don't need a DVD player. I would have had this system done by now but I lost my job back in Jan and just found one. The rest of my system is: Subs: 2 IA Death Penalty 12" Dual 1 Ohm Amp: Sundown SAZ-3500D Speakers: Im still not sure. But leaning towards Polk speakers Speaker Amp: Kicker ZX350.2 Sub box: Probably something between 4.5-5.0 cuft net @ 33Hz My alt and battery will also be upgraded too. This will be going into a 06 Dakota Extended Cab.

chit fudge chit driving home from school today, music playing next thing i know my truck starts randomly slowing down and my ABS light is blinking. THen i see my voltage meter is droping lower than usualy with the beat. I turn the system off and everything is good. Turn it back on and same problem. Im pretty sure my alternator just died on me. how this relates to the ABS randomly comming on i dont know. Glad my 4 year old battery had the life in her to get me home, Hopefully it can get me to the parts store to have my battery and alternator tested. If it is the alternator, while im paying $150 for a new stock replacemnt, i'll probably pay $100 more tops for a Hight Outpu…

Hey new here. So i own a skar 1500.1d. Have it hooked up to a sundown sa10, and works great. One "issue" ive ran into is when i turn the bass knob halfway up it gets loud (obviously). But anywhere past that it doesnt seem to get any louder or gain any volume. Im confused as to why it does that. I have tuned everything with the SMD-DD1 properly so im confused atm. I had a thought that it might be because i tuned it at 0db but im playing -7.5db music. But technically speaking there shouldn't be a "cutoff" point in volume. Any feedback would be helpful.

I thought I would post this here since replies elsewhere were slim. I've seen a couple of US Acoustic amps around at a reasonable price and was wondering what people thought about these amps. I know Zed made the first batch of the USX line and them US Acoustics took the plans and had them made in Korea (Pretty chitty if you ask me). I've google this line and people seenm to be happy with them (quality and build), but I thought I would ask around here since it seems that people have a better perspective on the car audio world on this forum. Tell me what you think.

I tried to look up past forums on this and had no luck. How much will a zx2500 draw at 2 ohms? Im gonna run 4 for a daily setup and im trying to figure out how many alts and what amperage alts i should run to properly supply these amps with enough amperage. thanks

What does what better then the other and which should i use for a 1500kW set up and a 3000kW set up? thanks
