I was happily enjoying my new (old) amp, when it turned off. I assumed the remote wire came loose again, end of story. The terminals are screws but with no plate so it slides out easily. (Before you ask, no short, it was in line of sight the whole time). I re-connected the remote wire, and nothing. Simply will not turn back on. No blown fuse, no smell, heck, not even warm. I have no idea where to begin looking for the culprit. I'd post pictures of the damage but there is none that is visible... Any ideas on how to fix this situation? I love this amp, and would hate to retire it to paperweight status.

If I run 0 guage fron front batt to rear batt, then connect two amps to rear batt whats the best way....1} run single power wire to distro block fron rear batt 2} run an individual wire from each amp to the batt? Second part whats the best for grounding rear batt? run a ground back to front batt or ground to chassis or both? Also same question on grounding my amps ,to the rear batt or on the frame?

I have an eclipse 3640 4 channel high amp. I was wondering if anyone knew of a link to a full spec sheet. I got a new high amp, and was hoping to have a full spec sheet for potenial buyers.

Is it possible to hook up an alpine h701 to an eclipse 8053 say, through the aux input? Or anyway for that matter. I love my 8053 and really don't want to part with it if it's possible. At the same time though, I want an EQ at my finger tips via the h701 and c701. If I could hook that combo up to my 8053 and it work it'd be all good. thoughts?

i can get both for about the same price. i know the 8053 can run an active 2-way + sub. anyone know what sort of crossovers the alpine has ? which one to get ? i honestly don't have a clue as to which to choose...

IS 389 from an authorized dealer a good price on this thing? Actually, is it a great price? If it is an awesome price I might have to pick it up, but if its just a pretty good price then I think i'll pass. The reason is, I would have to call my godfather and he's in Italy. He'll get it for me for a bday present probably, but I dont want to bother him over an ok deal.

Well, my Avionixx 4ch died on me, so while I'm having it refurbed, I think I'm going to go ahead and upgrade. Right now I'm looking at an Eclipse E4000, it's rated at 100w x4 @ 4 ohm but the guy at a local shop says he thinks it does more like 85w...I believe him too. Anyway, does anyone have any opinions on their amps? Hello everyone! I have a question regarding my Eclipse. I have a CD5030 and also have a XM Onyx that I'd like to run thru the decks AUX. Does anyone know if I'd be able to use the same AUX plug with the CD5030 as the CD5425?

Ok eclipse 8053 just hooked up my BLA yesterday.

I want to buy a cd400 r/b but it says i need the Eclipse ipc-106. Now when i do a seach one item is just a simple wire(ECLIPSE iPC-106 iPOD iPHONE INTERFACE ADAPTER GENUINE - eBay (item 290471501209 end time Jan-31-11 11:36:02 PST)) and one is a $150 item(ECLIPSE NEW IPC-106 IPOD ADAPTER INTERFACE IPC106 - eBay (item 370475059712 end time Feb-12-11 13:49:25 PST)). My question is can i use just the wire or do i need the entire thing? Any help would be gladly appreciated.

Did you know that of all places Circuit City is now stocking Eclpise?? I have just gotten and installed the CD-3000 and I do have to say it is VERY nice for the money. Not a ton of features that you dont need but it seems to have good clean sound. Nice 5v constant outputs from the pre-amp. A few built in EQ's and a somewhat OK cross-over. It playes MP3's ect and has a pretty nice display! I would love to see the CD-7000 in action. Then again.. I dont need navagation! Good day all!

Everything was working perfectly til yesturday when I took out my batterys ground and added another ground wire, when I turned the car back on my voltage gauge and both amps powered up but the HU didn't light up at all and started beeping really fast for the first few seconds then stopped, I hit the reset button on the HU and now nothing powers up (HU, amps, voltage gauge)...I checked both fuses on the amp (1 fuse on red power wire, 1 glass fuse on yellow "back up" wire) both were replaced and I've checked the necessary fuses in the interior fuse box with no luck... My dad got a used 05 Mustang back in the summer, and it came with a Eclipse CD4000 deck in it. I got him a pair of Alpine Type R Componant Speakers for Christmas. I was planning on installing it for him, but he insisted on haveing the car audio shop I got it from to install it (yeah, he don't trust me tearing apart his car). Anyway, I also had a Pioneer 2x60 Watts laying around to power the componants, and a Massive 1000 Watt amp and a 12" Adire Brahma. I took the Pioneer and Massive amp along to have the shop install those too and feed the wires for me, so I have the sub amp ready for the Brahma. I just had the 5030 installed in my girlfriends car and I need advice from someone that has experience with this deck on the settings. I have 6 1/2s in the front and back running off the deck and a 750 watt Kicker amp powering a sealed Icon 15.

What do I need to get XM Radio working with this deck?

I've got an Eclipse CD5030 with the optional tuning mic and I can't seem to get the auto time alignment nor auto EQ to change any settings. I've read the online manual and I'm fairly sure I'm doing it correctly, each time I do either setup the HU displays "Completed" then I hit the Enter key and none of the settings change. Any suggestions?

Well I have been talking about this and other head units on another forum but i want to get peoples opinions on this one. Eclipse CD7200 mk II Would you use this one for the price? If not which one would you go for? What do you think about it? On a scale 1 to 10 what would you rate it? If it could be out done by another head unit what is it (equal or lesser price)? I recently caught a GREAT deal on one of these.. only problem is that the CD player isn't functional. That isn't an issue at all considering it's got USB & iPod inputs. However, I tried plugging a thumb drive into the USB input & it won't read it. It shows iPod when I connect it but you need the iPod integration cable to use it, so I know nothing is wrong w/the USB input. Does my flash drive need to me formatted a certain way? Ok, so ive had my 8053 for about two months now and I am completely in love. so in love, I was telling my girlfriend the other night that if my truck ever caught on fire I would actually take the 8053 out before saving anything else...lol I wanna add XM to the truck, no need to try to get me to pick sirius they dont have Baseball. I'm looking into the 8455, but Eclipse has the worst site in the world with little info. I'm wondering if the aux input is direct connection, or do you need an adapter like on Pioneer and Alpine? Also, anyone friends with any dealers that will ship to me? The local dealer here is horrible and I refuse to give them my business. Thanks!
