I recently acquired a 15 inch MTX Terminator, all I need is wiring and an amplifier but I don't know how strong of an amplifier I need because of how old the sub is. Can anyone help me out? I really don't know much about sub/amp combinations. A picture of it http://imgur.com/a/qeulw

A quick question I am planing to buy this wire from knuconcepts when it asks me to choose fuse size what do i pick right now i am running a dc l4 12 with an aq1200d. i want to upgrade in the near future with 2-3k watts:) the question is it fine if i get the 300 amp fuse? http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KFX-PK0

does anyone have a solution to getting speaker wire through the door "boot" or what ever it's called? i tried for hours and i cant even get it half of the way through!!

I currently have a jvc HU and it only has one rca. i have both rca cables wired to my 2 channel amp to my current subs, I want to install a second amp for my front door speakers. I just ordered new subs and a amp from IA. So it will be two death row's running on a 20.1 and a power acoustik 2 channel amp for my doors. So how would I do this or do I need a new head unit?

I'm wondering why when I changed from 300w @ 4 ohms on my amp, to 600w @ 2 ohms I havn't noticed an increase in current draw. I just picked up a couple Z15s off a seller on here that listed them as DVC4 ohm, and I'm only running one of them due to lack of power/trunk space. I have it wired up to my sae1000d in parallel to get a 2 ohm load. I just pulled a 2 12s out that were wired @ a 4 ohm load on the amp, so I'm going from the 300w @ 4ohm to 600w @ 2ohm. I didn't adjust the gain because the voltage is the same at about 35 volts. But since I'm doubling the amount of wattage being used, shouldnt it be pulling 2 times as much current? What do you guys think about these kinds of head units? I was looking at getting the pioneer MVH-p8200 which features wise is pucking badass but what about performance wise? I see it only has 2v pre outs. I haven't seen another digital media reciever with anything higher.

So I just bought my 10" BL and im not sure what amp to get? What do you guys suggest? Budget is around $200

Recently got the 360.3. I was reading some older threads found on google and I noticed a couple of posts mentioned that once you get the 360 setup and tweaked that your supposed to keep your amp gain down and you don't have to do any further adjustments. I think because of the 360's output somehow?....I just wanted some clarification on this.

I have a chance to get some Kinetik 16v batteries for about 150 bucks from a local shop.. i wouldnt be running on 16v but on the 12volt side, should i get them? they have 65 AH and are apparently very good. any questions or comments?

I have 2 questions about some adjustments I'm unsure of 1) When setting the gains using the DMM method to obtain the corresponding output voltage for the amp's rated capacity (1000W RMS) - I need the most clean power I can get from this amp. I'm looking to power a tc9 with a dual 1.4 ohm FI Q recone. instead of looking to see how much boom i can get, i'm looking for a little better sound and will be udating with the rest of my system, i'm just starting with the sub and amp. the audison is 900 rms at 1 ohm and the dls is about 1200 rms at 1 ohm. both are about the same price. I've come here because i know the experience seems to be concentrated here. lol. also on the list of keeping the boom up is the md3d and saz-1500d. so some people with experience please give me a little insight. thanks very much i apreciate it.

which is better, dls a6 mono amp or a sundown sae-1200D??

I have an AQX 3500 (loving it, stays pretty cool and no fires lol) but i was wondering if this amplifier would be ok at that low of an impedance if i had a proper electrical to support it and no bass boost. Thanks.

I have 4 2600watt amps if i get 4 kenetic 2400's what size alt would i need to power these amps and recharge these batts and what company has them for cheap also can anyone machine or know where i can get alt brackets for the low in case i need 2 alts the car is a 2002 chevrolet suburban

i am currently running 1 ea.pos and neg 1/0 ga wire from the front to the back, would adding just 1 more pos run help or do i need to add the neg also and keep them even? Can you have more pos than neg? Good or bad?

I have an upgraded alt. to 180A (i know not much, but all I could get with my car) BIG 3 are done... 2 extra batts. in the trunk.... I wake up yesterday, and for the first time ever my battery light AND brake light are on, so I'm like wtf.... to coincidental, must be something stupid that needs to be re-set... I just went out there and tested my battery.. With car ON, it reads 12.35, car OFF 12.45....... I reved the engine with the car on and it went up like .2-.3 ANybody know what this indicates...whether it means bad battery, or bad Alt.....???? Battery is only 2 months old PLEASE HELP! About 2 years ago I removed a system that was "blown" for a guy and put his headunit in his new car--loose wires the only problem. For payment he gave me his blown amp and two kicker subs. I sold the subs cheap to a buddy and kept the amp. Since my car is mostly done I thought I would put something in the truck. I was wondering if any of you had heard anything about the amp. All I found is a random post saying it is 40x4 + 80wx1 or 80wx3 (@4ohm). I would like to use it to power my fronts and my sub. I have not selected a sub to use yet. The appealing part of it is that it looks like it is truly class A. I didn't notice this until today when I started to look onlin…

Has anyone had any experience with Shruiken AGM batteries? Can they be used as main battery replacement? Or are they just for auxiliary use only for audio?

if im wrong feel free to help in anyway. i assume i would need to upgrade my alternator, just a givin. then add about 3-4 batteries that output that voltage while using a device that seperates the batteries in the back from the one under the hood, but also charges the batteries in the rear. of course whole car can not be ran anything more than 14 volts on a 12 volt system(14.4 was the most i seen but i could be wrong) so the battery under the hood would be different than the one's in the rear. and could anyone fill me in about the missing link module, i know its not good to charge the batteries on 15.4 volts but i think it has a button to switch between from 15.4 to 14.4,…

I guess the title should be schock sensor but the one i have no has an integrated one. I'm getting ready to put in a PYTHON881XP in the next couple weeks... my alarm I have in right now is a directed automate am5... i have it ziptied to my steering column(I know its a no no)... so where do you guys mount yours?
