Currently i have a some JBL components (608C's) in my truck but, but i am currently thinking about purchasing a RF 3sixty.3. My main question is since i am already using components does it even make since to make the purchase unless i change my front stage speakers? I know it is kind of a vague question with many different variables but to keep in context if you are currently using a passive cross-over would going active give you any benefits as far as sound quality?

Ok, I have decided the XXX, huge amp, heavy optima yellow top 31 series, and massive box is too much for what I need it for. I am selling everything except the Rainbows and my HU to Jamie's cousin. Here is what the next system will be: 2 RL-i 8's sealed in a movable box Rainbows on a 150x2 amp (that seems to be the most power they can take) A matching amp for the rl-i's (around 700 watts) Audiocontrol EQT's and 4XS I would also like to be able to stay in the running for USACi 0-600 sq class. Hey everybody, I'm looking around for an amp, so far I've been told to look up the US Amps AX3200DE and the Sundown Audio 3000. Both seem the same to me...anybody have any input on this? I'm looking to run an 18" BTL fully loaded for daily use (not so much for competition). Thanks, Andrew

i had a t20001bd on my btl for a loooong time but finally sold the amp and the whole charging system but still have the sub im trying to sell, but i bought this kenwood 9102d from a buddy so i could thump while im trying to sell my sub... when i have all the wires connected (and yes it is hooked up perfect this isnt my first time) the power light does NOT come on, but the remote wire has enough voltage and the power wire is good (checked with volt meter)....BUT when i pull out BOTH 30a fuses the red power light comes on for like 3-5 seconds then fades away, but voltage and everything stays the same on the amp...the 4 channel amp i have hooked up next to it off the same ba…

ive looked and looked and looked some more but i cant find the diagram for adding a second battery. someone posted it on here before but i cant find it now. could someone give me the link for it please?

Cruising around and bam battery light. Checked voltage, amp terminals, alt post, and batts. All checked out. Cranked the bass, voltage was dropping to 11.9 when the day before just dropped to 13.2. I have a dual alt kit. I unplug my primary and boom 12.9. I gotta check a few fuses and relays but I believe it just died completely. It's a tenney 270amp but I'm gonna probably get mechman or someone to rebuild it. If not ill grab me a hairpin 380!!!! Kinda sucks cause I was about to buy an iPad to glass into my dash.

I found this amp JBL GTO14001 I have always been a JBL fan for live music and I was just curious if it will make that power or if its over rated Thanks

I am new to this forum.So pretty much i'll get right down to the point.To me Us amps,are always a good investment.So,how do these amps compare to US amps;Digital Designs,Zapco,American Bass,and autotek amps?I'll be using one of these amps to push 3 12's or 2 15's.Thanx for any help you can offer.

When my car is running, and my HU is on pause, I get this high pitch sound through my speakers. its there when a CD is playing to, but high volumes cover it up. Anywanyz, im trying to figure out how to fix it. Someone suggested to me to check the grounds. SO I did, and found that my battery terminal (-) was loose. After secureing it, I thought it had been fixed, but the next time I went out to my car, it did the same thing. This only happens when my car is running, not when im on ACC. If it was still a ground problem, I would hear it when im on ACC too, wouldnt I? Also, my lights, and my HU backlight dim slightly and brighten, all in a very fast movement. I have upgraded …

Hi and Good Morning. I am trying to come up with an amp to power my Digital Designs 1008 sub. It has been rated at 500 continuous and 2000 peak. I was told to make sure to get an amp that will supply at least 500 watts rms but i am considering running two of the 1008's or two of the 1508's by Digital designs. I have heard many good things about both of these amps the Sundown Audio SAZ 1000D.1 and the Precision Power P1000.1. Can anybody give me some great advise here and thank You very much.

Hey I new with audio most of the time I have a mini truck which I never could fit a system into the cab but anyways i just bought a clarion amp made in 1996 and it has never been hooked up its a two channel apa2100 so what kind of subs could i run to get the best sound out of it is going in a 96 rodeo so i have room for about anything but anything would help thanks

How much wire should i purchase from knukonceptz for the big 3? and should i get the 0 gauge or will the 4 gauge be just as good? I have a 12" fi bl on a sundown saz 1500d in a 2 cuft box tuned to 35.5hz. thanks

Hello all, I have a Sundown SAE-1000D powering a 12" AA Havoc and a 4-channel Kenwood eXcelon powering my mids and highs. With this setup I was having a little headlight dimming at high volumes. Now even after adding the Kinetik HC600 in the trunk I still have the same dimming problem; no better or worse. I am pretty sure I have it wired properly with the 2-gauge run from the battery fused at the battery running to another fuse within 18" of the HC600 then from there to the distro block. Both fuses are 150A ANL's. The only wiring difference I have from the suggested wiring in the manual is that I have it grounded to the chassis in the back as opposed to having a grou…

Ok here is the deal, I have a 08zx750.1 mono kicker amp & unfortunately I sent it out to kicker because I was having problems with my amp cutting off and on, when I turned up my music @ high volume. so kicker repair center diagnosed it and told me that the pcb board was cracked so he gave me a deal of 2010 ZX 750.1 Brand New with 2 year manufacturer warranty for the price of $209.00 or to return my original amp back to me. I was wanting your in-put whether I should get that deal for that brand new 2010 Amp for $209.00 or should I just invest my money on another amp? Hey guys I was just wondering what what ppl would choose! either 2 - batcap 2000 bnib or 1 XS d5100 and 1 xs d3100 bnib The batcaps will be about $536shipped The xs will be about $650shipped. I'm looking to do the big 3 on my 98 expedition. I was looking at the wiring from alt to batt and there are 2 runs of wire. Both are fused. Either 150 or 175 amp fuses. Am I alright to run wire straight from the amp to the battery? Or should I replace wire from alt to the fuses then fuses to batt? I'd rather leave stock wiring there and then run a 4 or 0ga run straight over. Of course I'd just do the 2 grounds chassis to block, block to batt. Any have experience with a late 90s ford?

Did some testing this morning on my electrical. At the post on my alt im reading at 12.4v idle and 11.9v under load. Is there something on my Durango that would cause it not to charge at 14.4v at idle? or is it my alt going out? Its a 4.7l dodge Durango 2004 model. 270a Tenney alt.

im so confused! so is a bass remote bad to use if you want ur subwoofer to be "quiet?" i know i know Who would ever want their sub to be quiet but im just wondering. ive heard it can hurt the amp/sub or it cant, i neeed answers!!

Ive Blown 2 Plate Amps in Less Than 2 Weeks! How Could This Be? They Were Working Fine But noticed they were getting extremely hot to the touch (couldn't keep hand on for 3 sec.) I'm wondering, how would I wire my front door speakers to a 2-channel amp? Do I just run them like I'd run subs?

I need the biggest and best batt I can possibly get my hands on. Not looking too spend over $1000 for 2 and the battery can not be over 800 sq in. Im going to be having 2 RD D5 each wired at .25 ohms on it and am only allowed 2 batteries total. I already no my voltage is going to drop extremely low, thats why I need to know what my best options are for 2 batteries. I am going to be having a 350 amp alt too fyi

I'm looking into the 8455, but Eclipse has the worst site in the world with little info. I'm wondering if the aux input is direct connection, or do you need an adapter like on Pioneer and Alpine? Also, anyone friends with any dealers that will ship to me? The local dealer here is horrible and I refuse to give them my business. Thanks!
