So Found this on WoofersETC today and was wondering on opinions. I am going to get the Soundqubed Q4-120 but from what I've read in the last few months Focal is VERY VERY good but expensive. After seeing this Focal amp for 200bucks i'm thinking did I find a sweet deal or is it a bottom line amp from focal that isn't worth it and spend the extra 100bucks on the Soundqubed? Opinions please. thnx. I posted a while back on my company's development of factory replacement radios - just want some follow up feedback from everyone. We made radios for Toyota, GM, Ford, Chrysler and have some more on the way including a Honda CRV and some universal fits. I've gotten some requests from customers and dealers. I'd like to know what other vehicles everyone thinks would be good to have. . . radios with the factory look and aftermarket features. What do you think and what have you heard? Got any questions or comments - please let me know.

Not washed, waxed, or detailed Before Everything plastic that has to come out (doesn't have to but gives you working room) Naked Can you see the difference? 2 bolts later All buttoned up Now for the bad news, when I opened the box up, a little black plastic tab fell out, but I didn't think anything of it. After getting it all in there, I fired up the truck and no voltage showed up. I put the stocker back in there and opened up the black plastic cover on the new one and discovered the stators all bent up from shipping. Whatta bummer!!!! I called up Nate, told him the deal, the new one went back to him today for sameday turn around when he gets it. He w…

I went on crutchfield and read a FAQ for multi amp and it said this You'll need a relay on the turn-on lead to protect your receiver. A relay connected to the power antenna lead draws little current from the receiver, but supplies enough power to turn on all your amps simultaneously. Since I dont have a power antenna I assume I could connect it to the ignition, but why cant I just do like how I want and splice the remote wire to the other amps? Ive never heard of using a relay for this. AND does anyone know of a site where I can browse hi output alternators?

As some of you may know from other another post I have plans of doing a 150 trunk car this summer. So from past experience I know that I can not run two alts, and I already have a HO alt. I am trying to stay away from extra batts due to my car having weak ass springs in the ass end so I was going to install a MLA module. BUT!! I googled for like 2 hours and I can not find the site or how to buy one? If I am just mentally challenged would someone please post a link and if not dose anybody know of another type of device that would get me similar results.

This may be a stupid question but this amp is a month old and i noticed the other day when i hooked up my new sa-10s that i had music coming through my subs. My lpf was at 120ish so i dialed it back to 80. Should there be music coming through at 120? especially on a mono amp? IM worried somthing is wrong with the amp as i have never noticed that before on my other amp which is exactly the same only from different vendor.

  15. im desperately trying to find an amp for my 15" BTL dual 2. Its got the 3rd mag, himax coil, and cooling. its in a nice box, look at my sig for the specs on it. I also have an upgraded electrical system including a 160 amp HO alt, kinetic 2400 & kinetic 1400, big 3, and all my wiring is 0 AWG. I also have a voltage stabilizer connected to my electrical system. has any one ever had any experiences or comments on the Sound Stream PCA3500D PICASSO? Is it a good amp, it says its rated at 3500 RMS at 1 ohm. What do you think ill actually be getting with my upgraded electrical system. thanks -wes

Is it possible to wire four 4 ohm dvc subs to a 2 channel amp, with each channel seeing 2 ohms? I have them running at four ohms, but can you use series and parallel wiring to create this load? If I set each sub in parallel wiring (+ to + and - to -, right?)and then run the - from one channel to one sub, the positive from that channel to the other sub, and a wire connecting the other + and - terminals from sub to sub, would this do it? Here's what I'm talking about. (pic may not work) Just hooked up these subs, but they sound distorted and just terrible, will they sound better after they break in, or just lower/louder? Replaced 4 RF P1 12's with 4 infinity 1252w's, a…

Does anybody know where I could find some free wiring diagrams for installing car stereos? I install a lot of aftermarket cd-players for my friend because he owns a car lot and having a website that would show me what is what would really speed things up. I am about to put in a DVD screen into a 2001 Caddilac Deville and was wondering if anyone knew where i could find the diagram for the speakers wire colors. Any help will be appreciated. thanks

Well this is what happened. I have had this amp for about a year and its worked fine but i thought i would be different and i changed the shift phase knob on it from the end it was on to the other end b/c i thought it would allow for the subsonic filter to shut off for lower resonance but i was wrong. I believe it ended up blowing 2 cubes in my amp and now i need to get i repaired but i dont know where or how and even if i can repair it. It was a great amp and id like to keep it. Is there anyone out there that can help or might even know what i did really to make it blow? Help would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.
