Like the title says I am looking to put 2 12" FI Q's in my 05 ford focus. Ive never built a box but plan on trying to build this one haha. Any recommendation anyone has that would power these 2 well would be great. I currently have a 12 w3v3 hooked up to a TMA 500.1 amp (think thats right). The new box can be either ported or sealed, as i don't mind going across the entire width of the trunk, i will however need to leave the first foot and a half or so of the trunk open for my golf bag( plus room for flex? or mount up?). so my question is, what size alternator should i need. i have 2 cvx122 kickers running off a saz2500d running at 2 ohms, custom ram-designs box, (which by the way is sweet and well worth the money ) 2 runs of 0gauge pos, 1 run of 0gauge neg, big 3, 1 d3100. its a 98 s10 4.3 x motor(hi output). i bought a 220 powermaxx but unsure if this is enuff. Any way to calculate if i need more or another batt?

I'm looking into the 8455, but Eclipse has the worst site in the world with little info. I'm wondering if the aux input is direct connection, or do you need an adapter like on Pioneer and Alpine? Also, anyone friends with any dealers that will ship to me? The local dealer here is horrible and I refuse to give them my business. Thanks!

Hi and Good Morning. I am trying to come up with an amp to power my Digital Designs 1008 sub. It has been rated at 500 continuous and 2000 peak. I was told to make sure to get an amp that will supply at least 500 watts rms but i am considering running two of the 1008's or two of the 1508's by Digital designs. I have heard many good things about both of these amps the Sundown Audio SAZ 1000D.1 and the Precision Power P1000.1. Can anybody give me some great advise here and thank You very much.

hi, im new to this whole forum thing but i need some help. i recently purchased 2 15" incriminator lethal injections and have them powered by a hifonics 1600 watt amp right now, im wanting an upgrade on my amp and extra battery and need some help on making a choice.......my 2 choices are the sundown saz-1500d or the rockford t1500-1bd......i also need an extra battery but dont know what brand....please help me out if you can....also would like to hear of any other amplifier options you may have. thanks

I saw kicker had a line of install accessories, power kits, brass hardware and rca's i see some vauge explanations of the products, but is there an indepth view of what each of these kits come with... for example the 1/o gauge multi amp kit... i see some pics with it including battery terminals... are these included?? stillwater help!

So I just placed an order for the new Crescendo Mezzo components and I was wondering how to wire them up once I receive them. I have a 2 channel Kicker ZR1000 (I got it for $30 and it works perfect ) that I will use to power them. The only problem is that I'm not sure what to put the crossover module at. The options are bypass, lowpass and hipass. I used the hipass for the coaxials, but I'm not sure if that would be used for the components, since it has the crossover box. Also, I'm going to keep my stock head unit. I have 2 Crescendo BC2ks (strapped) and the kicker ZR1000. What should I use to connect the RCAs up to? ok well i had a 130 amp high output alternator in my car, but it would whine every time i turn the car on for about 5 mins on n off depending on the electrical drain. so i reinstall the stock alternator, ( if someone knows what a stock 96 accord ex 2.2L alternator amp rating is tell me) there is no whine now which means there is no straining at idle. i no that the high ouput alternator i got is 130 amps at 1200 rpm, n prolly lower than stock at idle, but now with the stock alternator in, the lights dim bad, i can definitely tell. before with the High output alternator i didnt see much of my lights dimming. i do have a 1 farah cap in the trunk. now i was wondering because …

Alright, so I got my amp yesterday (Diablo Audio Technologies 1000.1) and it's great, except for one problem. Every time I turn on the truck, about 5 min. later the amp turns off and a blue light (alarm) on the amp goes on, even if I don't have it that loud. Can somebody tell me what might be the cause? P.S.- There is only one L.E.D. and Red means On/Power Blue means Alarm

Ive got a 105a alt and big 3 done also have a xs3400 under hood and a xs3100 on order, what else do i need to run a 3000w sub amp and a 400w high amp. Im guessing a larger alt . anyone that has ran similar or can give me help, thnx in advance

i finally took the plunge and vented my box...and i have noticed that the bass output changes per song or cd(which happened with the sealed box also)..some songs are loud and deep and others have nothing?..i was wondering if theses processors really to restore the low end in all recordings..im goin to get into the sd chips for music so i want everything to sound the same..thanks in advance...

OK, here is scenario- Got a 20A relay on remote turn on wire with 3 amps and some leds on it. The 15A fuse on the relay popped today... that means it drew WAY too much current... i have a short somewhere... I check- 3 wires were pulled out of the remote turn on distro block that was reading ground.... 1 of these wires is an LED wire. The other 2 wires go to my sundown 100.4 and the other wire goes to both AQ3500Ds remote turn on... The LED wire reads 0.0 ohms and the turn on wires for all 3 amps are reading 0.2 ohms.... Is the remote turn on's grounded? Did the led wire cause a massive surge through all the remote turn ons?

Ive been focusing on subwoofer amps mostly other than speaker amps. Are there different type of amps made specificly for speakers but not subwoofers. can someone send me a link or a name of a rockford fosgate amp for just speakers?

does anyone have any experience with this unit ? ... can it do damage to anything in my car as it regulates the charge of your alternator to around 15.2 volts ... how easy of an install is it?
