Ive already got a yellow top and a kinetik 2400. wondering what kinetik would compare to either a yellow top or red top

hi, im new to this whole forum thing but i need some help. i recently purchased 2 15" incriminator lethal injections and have them powered by a hifonics 1600 watt amp right now, im wanting an upgrade on my amp and extra battery and need some help on making a choice.......my 2 choices are the sundown saz-1500d or the rockford t1500-1bd......i also need an extra battery but dont know what brand....please help me out if you can....also would like to hear of any other amplifier options you may have. thanks

hey guys and girls, I've been looking around for a H/O alternator for my 03 VW Golf GTI. I was speaking to a representative from Kinetik's about power cells that I will be needing to power my soon to be Sundown Audio 3000 amp. The representative told me that the higher than amperage from the alternator, the more power will be drained from the engine. He was also telling me that it is a big enough drain since I drive a 4 cyl car. Soon after I spoke to a representative from Ohio Alternators and he told me that the loss of horsepower would only be be a maximum of 5 from the engine with a 200 amp alternator at full power. My new amp (Aq1200d) came in. Verryyy nice. Not a whole lot to say about it yet besides that it seems to push alot more than my old bxi and seems pretty reliable. Looks fantastic. Thumbs up to the guys at Audioque excuse my dirty carpet, it will be cleaned soon.

I had my front speakers running off of an old school Sony XM-2252HX, another one for the rear, and another for the subs...three in total. I decided to consolidate amps, and figured the Cadence F100-5 would be enough for my Image Dynamics CSX65CS components...christ was I wrong! Going from 225w down to 100w just isnt cutting it, my mid bass and highs are seriously suffering. I'm picking up a line driver tomorrow, as I have always needed one...I simply was able to crank up the gains more on the Sony's and get the desired outcome (factory headunit, spliced some rca's onto the line out). Hey guys quick easy question, my vehicle is set for a 24f battery, and I was look at xs batteries but they do not have one and said to just use their size 34. However it is slightly smaller so does anyone have any recommendations for a 24f sized battery? Or should I just go with a 34 xs?

Still looking for a 4 channel amp to run an active setup in my friends car. Planning on running SEAS 27TFFNC Tweet and CA18RNX. I saw these amps and thought I should get some opinions from you guys. Here they are. Soundstream TRA960.4 MB Q RAB 450 PP A600/4 All of these amps are around $250 -325 and is the budget for amps as of now. Are there any other choices that would be better in this price range?

Ok. So I put the zcon's and the 2500d in. Now when I set the gain using the dd1 till I can get ahold of my friend with the oscope, the voltage goes down to 12.5. I have a mechman 270, big 3 in 0 gauge, ran the pos and neg from front to rear batt in 0 gauge, installed fuse in front, fuse in rear, soldered all connections. Rear batt is a diehard platinum 31m marine agm with 205 reserve, but yet when I turn volume up to around 30 out of 35, amp goes into protect mode and volts drop to 12.5. (Radio was o scoped at 40hz and 1k hz and had no clipping evident)Even at 1500 rpm. Am I missing something or is the saz2500d drawing that much amperage? Also speaker wire was 14 gauge. A…

I am looking for a new 5 or 6 channel amp. I need flexible, decent crossovers to run active. Power isn't super critical. High quality is priority #1... Size #2 and Cost would be my lowest at #3. Any reccomendations?

Currently I've got a P3002 and two Memphis twelves and a Memphis 15. I'm planning on upgrading my wiring to 1/0, and thinking I'll probably need an upgraded alternator. Someone in another thread said something about needing extra batteries for a T1500, I was thinking I'd be okay with the alternator. Opinions? By the way, I'm planning on ordering a BTL 18 next. I'm also looking for ideas on box design. Its going in an Explorer, so I've got plenty of room. I want the sub facing the roof and the port facing the front. Planning on making a amp rack out of some plexi too, I'll have to post some pics.

I'm in need of either a 2 or 4 channel amp to drive my 6x8s and 8" midbass speakers. I'm only used to mono sub amps so this question may seem silly. My concern is I want to set a High and low crossover for the midbass. A range like 80 to 250hz while the 6x8's play 250hz and up. A) Do 4 channel amps allow you to set a high and low x-over at the same time? B) Can I just use a 2 Channel amp and buy passive crossovers that will send 80-250hz to the midbass and 250hz and up to the 6x8s?

My neighbor happened upon a xtant 3300 its a big ass chrome amp unlike anything ive seen before. I went over there and hooked up on the mono sub channel to a couple Memphis 15's and it sounded good but what im wondering is what else can it be used for I googled it and found its a 3 channel with 5 channel capabilities more SQ oriented but what is this thing worth? Also ive never seen an amp like this without knobs and little plugs instead. I would have taken a pic but it was night and my cell wasn't capturing it well. Anyone have any knowlegde on it? I can probably get it for pretty damn cheap or trade my RF 450.2 for it.

will the ppi black ice 800.4 be enough to run a set of alpine type r components up front and a ssa dcon off the rear 2 channels bridged? or should I plan to invest in a second amp also are there any electrical changes that have to be made for that amp I would assume not but due to all the computers in my jeep I want to make sure the voltage would be safe

Greetings Folks, I was in to mobile audio around year 2000. Back then the Big Box Brands like you found at Best Buy were OK but the high end companies had a significant boost in performance. Lower noise floors, met rated power output, better thermal management, and cleaner sound. Today I see that the mainstream companies products pricing has DROPPED dramatically. I wonder if quality has suffered as well. Let me give an example... Sounstream 15 years ago was a high end company that made top shelf products. I am about to start building my system in my ex cab toyota truck. I am not sure if I am going with 2 Fi Q15's or 2 BL15's, fully loaded yet. But I need a amp that puts out around 1000 watts RMS at 1 ohm for around $360. So far I have been looking at these: Hifonics 2600W for around $350 AudioQue AQ2200D for $390 Which one of these should I get or is there any other amp out there in this price range that might be better?
