Can I use the Havoc 12" woofer in the home? If so what's the difference between a car subwoofer box and a home woofer box? This would be my first home woofer build. What do they mean by shielded/ not shielded?

i really like ascendant's new site except...there are no prices!!..lol..so i was hoping to get a quickie response here,whats the price of a havoc 18 and if possible how much for shipping to trinidad.(if possible*prays*). thanks

I just bought a SAZ1500.1 and sold the Q's about 3 months into it. I would like to know if it is possible to have a pair of Havoc's made with D1 coils? If this is possible, will this significantly effect the drivers performance, BL, etc... to the point where I should just wait until I can buy another amp? Please let me know. Thanks, Chris

I am interested in a 12" Havoc been hearing good things about them and i like the specs on them. Whats the price for a 12" driver and where can I buy one, I went to the website and i been looking through the forum here and understand there is dealers, but where can I get one???

Hey guys, I need to know how much space the 10" Assassin displaces. I was sure I would be able to find it on the AA website, or on the Internet somewhere, but no luck. If someone happens to know the answer or could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate the help.

good evening . ive bought a Ascendant audio mayhem 15 dvc 2. now is my question in what size of box it will operate it best. y want a ported box tuned between the 40 and 45 hz yust allround music tuned. here are the t&s http://www.bladeice.com/mayhem.php and how much diverence makes it to makes it lower. y mean is the size of the box the same as on higher freqs like above. and y have to change only the port . y hope you can help me. y heard allready 2 difrent sizes so y hope you can help me to make tje right choise thanks allready grtz erwin.

hey guys whats up? haven't been on in a while. anyway im looking to upgrade my system and im looking at the havoc for my next sub. i allready have the amp RE12.1 1200wrms+ but im not sure on the box. i allready have a box that my atlas 15 is in but don't know if itll work for the havoc. the box is 3.4cf net tuned to 30hz but heres the problem im only using 2 4inch ports so port area is low. so im wondering will 2 4inch ports be enough? i have no port nosie with the atlas but the havoc is a lot more sub so im not sure? any info would be greatly appriceated! thanls dustin.

Im currently looking at a Havoc 15" right now due to good overall responses for sealed enclosures yet still able to play loud as in loud based from personal reviews we have. Based from specs, we can start from 1.5-3.0 CF... Q1: What does CF stand for? Q2: How does the size affect the overall output and sound quality? Q3: Would going towards the smaller size 1.5 be better or towards the maximum of 3.0? Q4: Any experince playing with the box size that possibly was the best size for sealed enclosure? Chevy extended cab truck that runs on vegoil. 18" mayhem in an 8 cu ft box tuned to 28 hz. Powered by an SAZ-3000d with a Kinetik HC2400 in the cab. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for the 200 amp alt from Excessive Amperage. Surprisingly, the OZ Audio 4x6 coaxes in the dash wang pretty damned good! The box is tuned pretty low so this setup REALLY shakes everything. Its quite ridiculous. The mayhem actually sounds pretty decent until I turn it up. Then all I can hear is the roof flexing. I did a quick measurement on the TL and posted a 145. That's just hopping in the car and playing a quick sweep. I was too busy wearing out my electrical system play the 30 hz ton…

hello i`m thijs from holland. i have a question, `want to go play whit a AA chaos 12" woofer. but now i need a box for it. i want a box that play realy low freq. most of the time a play hip-hop and r&b here wil be 1500 watts on it ,i think that wil be enough sow my question is , is there somone how have the size of the box and the size for the vent if it`s posible i want to use a 6" aero poort. thanks en i hope to get a anser soon. greets thijs from holland ps: sorry for my poor English

ok well ill be having 2 ascendant audio Havoc 18 Dual 2's. i was going to go with a saz3000D but i wouldnt be able to run the amp at 1ohm, and dont want to risk running it at .5 ohm. so i need an suggestions to an amp/amps that would go good with these, i want around 1500 rms going to each sub. my budget is around 900, i can prolly go up to 1grand but thats it

In anyone's professional opinion, what port area would you recommend for 2 AAchaos 10's in a 5 cuft box running off 1 saz3000 at half ohm(or do you think this is too much for the amplifier?)? to be tuned to 33hz for street bass use. 5cuft is what i have available any recommendations?

So, I understand the two companies are focused on different areas of the market, but I'd like some help figuring out which sub to buy. I've got an awesome wife who wants to buy me one for Christmas. Can someone who has experience with both of these subs try and explain the difference a person might be able to hear, like is one louder than the other in their spec'd boxes? in the near future i am goin to build a box for HAVOC 18 what do u think of this design i made...will it work?? box: W=37 D=23 H=19 port width=5 box volume=6.2 tuning frequency=32 i excluded aprox. 0.25 (ft3) for the sub... the SUB should be in the middle of the box .. your opinions

What is the max amount of power you would run to a mayhem 18 for daily/music.....anyone running them daily with 4k or more?

Just picked up an original 12" Assassin, single 4 ohm, ones with stamped steel basket. I'm looking for the best SQ I can get with ported enclosure, as i listen to all genres of music. I was thinking 2.0cf @ 32hz? Going with a slot port so how many sq inches of port? Going in the trunk of my grand prix btw.

Hi, I've got an AA Avalanche 12 that I purchased about 4 years ago. Last year it started cutting in and out intermittently so I shelved it saying I'd deal with it later. I had it in a 1.25ft^3 sealed box on a 350W PG amp. I don't get any grinding noises when i push on the cone and see no physical damage. Can anyone tell me who I can get in contact with to possibly get this thing repaired, assuming it's cost effective? I really enjoyed the sub while it worked. When I bought it, I was looking for a low priced sub with XBL^2 ( used to have a Brahma) and this sub was perfect. I just read that AA is in the process of a merger and there really isn't a whole lot of info …
